The
positive:
The
hotel
is
very
well
situated
close
to
the
centre
and
in
direct
proximity
of
cafes
and
restaurants
of
Blloku
area.
It
also
has
a
decent
pool
for
a
city
hotel.
Beware
though
that
the
pool
is
filled
with
screaming
kids
throughout
the
day.
There
is
a
decent
breakfast
and
it
is
the
only
hotel
we
stayed
in
Albania
that
had
fresh
orange
juice
and
fresh
coffee
made
to
your
requirement.
The
negative:
We
were
looking
forward
to
staying
at
this
hotel
and
all
was
up
to
a
good
start
-
we
checked
into
a
Superior
Double
Room
on
the
top
floor
of
the
hotel.
The
room
was
specious,
modern
and
had
a
nice
view
of
the
city.
We
noticed
that
the
room
was
very
hot
but
expected
it
would
cool
down
after
switching
the
air
conditioning
on.
A
few
hours
later
the
room
temperature
didn’t
decrease
despite
air
conditioning
being
on
lowest
setting
and
we
requested
the
reception
to
check
it.
Several
hour
later
the
room
temperature
was
still
exceeding
25
C
and
requested
the
reception
once
again
to
resolve
the
situation.
A
technician
came
to
our
room
for
the
2nd
time
and
told
us
that
the
air
conditioning
system
in
the
room
was
not
strong
enough
to
cool
the
temperature
further.
The
reception
insisted
that
we
wait
further
and
if
the
situation
wouldn’t
improve
until
we
get
back
from
dinner
after
10pm
they
would
offer
us
a
different
room.
At
that
point
I
expressed
my
deep
dissatisfaction
with
the
situation
and
how
it
was
handled.
We
were
offered
an
alternative
room
with
working
air
conditioning
which
was
located
one
floor
lower
and
facing
the
garden.
However,
the
room
was
much
smaller,
extremely
dated
and
run
down,
it
had
no
blackout
curtains
and
the
bathroom
looked
like
it
hadn’t
been
renovated
since
the
90’s.
We
found
somebody’s
hair
in
the
bathroom,
the
toilet
was
stained
and
there
was
mould
in
between
the
tiles
in
the
shower.
The
room
came
across
of
much
lower
category
than
our
initial
accommodation
and
it
was
located
opposite
the
entrance
to
the
lift.
The
verdict:
Our
stay
at
Rogner
Hotel
was
disappointing,
and
we
experienced
unnecessary
stress
and
inconvenience
because
the
reception
staff
didn’t
act
to
the
standard
you
would
expect
of
a
5-star
hotel.
The
room
we
stayed
in
didn’t
meet
the
5-star
standard
either
and
it
was
more
of
a
dated
3-star
hotel.
Otherwise,
I’m
sure
we
would
have
enjoyed
staying
at
this
hotel.
