This cable car is one of the best I’ve been on! But also one of the most scary… so brace yourself as it’s not for people who don’t like heights It is totally worth a day out doing, the view is incredible on the way up/down and from the top. Price was 1000L for 1 adult return journey when we went. Enjoy 🏔

An absolute must for anyone visiting Tirana, once up the cable car there are go karts, mini golf, pony rides, pellet guns and more. Take the blue bus (L 11) from city center and get off at the bunk art museum for a short walk up the hill. The restaurant on top is also amazing.

A very beautiful place and it takes about 20 mins to reach the top, the view in the way and on the top “dajti balcony” is really so fascinating. Once you reach the top there are many things you could do: Horse riding Golf A cafe A playing ground Telescope A balcony ”place to take picture”(there are two but the best is behind the restaurant) A hotel And a lot of more activities but these are all that I remember🤷🏻‍♀️

Amazing experience, the views are breathtaking! Only thing I didn’t like, was the fact that it was advertised as 6 euros back and forth, online and from locals, and we went there and we learned that it costs 14 euros back and forth! Moreover, they have not added the prices on their official site, which in my opinion, should be added! Apart from that, it is a place worth visiting and you will remember the views for some time!

The cable car is something you should try if your in Tirane. You can drive to the top and visit the park. I recommend you try the cable car, the ride take over 10 mins and the views are awesome. Getting to it is a little tricky and through windy roads, but when you get there parking is available and a security guard at the gate.

Dajti Ekspres Cable Car is 4354 meters long, this cable car is the longest in the Balkans and 15 minutes up to the top of Dajti Mountain- 1,100 meters above the sea level. The cable car is comfortable, clean and easy. Price list: •Child- Free (0-3 years old) •Child- 600 Lek (4-12 years old) •Adult- 1,400 Lek (12+) •One way- 700 Lek You can pay for your pets to go for a ride too. •Pets- 600 Lek. All the activities are available to purchase at the cable car counter. It’s fun to spend time on the top of Dajti Mountain. We didn’t purchase tickets for other activities because we decided to spend our time in the restaurant to enjoy the stunning view and fabulous food. Don’t miss Dajti Ekspres if you visit Tirana. We love the experience of visiting the mountain by the longest cable car in Balkans. *It’s about 20 minutes drive from city area. It’s not a difficult drive once you used to drive in the city area. *The restaurant (Ballkoni Dajtit) is amazing too. Great food, great value and awesome view. Recommended.

I had a fantastic experience riding the Dajti Express cable car in Tirana! For just 700 Lek each way, you can use your card to pay, making it convenient. Once you reach the top of the 1600 meter Dajti Mountain, the view is breathtaking, and there are various activities to enjoy. This can also be a fun adventure for families with kids. However, be aware that prices at the local establishments up there can be a bit higher. Overall, it's a must-visit for the stunning views and adventure enthusiasts, including families!

When you first arrive here you might think the cable car is a bit expensive for Albanian standards, but it's not! Use it, go up the mountain, it's totally worth the money! The ride is super long and you get one amazing view after another. Absolutely beautiful. Great activity for the kids as well, there are playgrounds at the top!

Dajti Ekspres is one of the best cable cars I have ever been to, it’s very long and the place on Dajti mountain is amazing with so many activities and amenities available like kids area and shooting, horses, restaurants and toilets, and a great view point of all Tirana, the weather up is cold and nice and make sure to bring your jackets

Long ride up to the mountains in modern cable cars. 8 euros gets you a return trip (you really would not want a single and a massive walk back). Only drawback was the scratched glass which slightly diminished the views. Close to bunker art and an easy journey in from the city on the porcelain bus (Australians will love this in particular) from the Plaza hotel.

You need try it! Really long time on cableway (15 minutes) with beautiful view of Tirana and the surrounding hills. I recommend to go there in the morning, because the queue gets long during the day. The only negative thing are the scratched and dirty windows on the carts.

Dajti Ekspres is one of the best investments in Tirana.I think is the best thing that Tirana offers for tourists. The view from cable is magnificent. When you have arrived in Dajti national park, you can do hiking, cycling, horsing, barbecue, visiting old Dajti castle ect.

(Translated by Google) If you are in Tirana you should definitely go here. Beautiful ride with the cable car of a quarter of an hour which will take you to great heights. Try to get a gondola for yourself so that you can look around freely and take photos during the ride. At the top you have a beautiful view. There is also a running restaurant where you can drink a nice coffee. Tip: On top of this restaurant you have the most beautiful view. It is not clearly indicated but you can just take another flight of stairs to get to the roof. A visit to the neighboring Bunker.Art is also recommended.

Brilliant, I really enjoyed the 15 minute ride through the mountains with the cable car. Would be better but for the graffiti on the windows which spoils the view and makes it hard to take pictures. But at £5.50 return it's really good value, I did it twice.

One of your days in Tirana should be spent here. Simply you can reach out to here by taking the blue bus L11 from the city center in front of the friendship monument. 40 LEK each one way. The Cable cars 🚡 trip is awesome one of the best I've ever had. It costs 1000 LEK round trip. I recommend that you buy the cable cars tickets accompanied with the Djati adventure park tickets for 1400 LEK each. The adventure park is a must try if you have basic fitness and would like to experience an adrenaline rush.

Take the blue line from the Sikendr beg square to the last stop, hike a little to the starting point of the cable car. Return ticket for two costs 28 euros for two people. We were that at 12 and it wasn't so crowded. Enjoy the breathtaking views while going up. Last leg of the cable car is very steep. Enjoyed the views and took a lot of pictures. There is nothing much on the top though, except golf course, horae riding, a few other games and a restaurant. It got much colder around evening on the top, came down around sunset and had the amazing views then. Took the blue line bus back to the city centre. Internet was also available on top in the main hall below the cable car drop off.

This is such a great eksperience. Beautiful trip and you can see the whole Tirana from the top. We parked the car for free at the parking lot and took the cable car.I am sure this is not for the faint of heart and if you are afraid of heights don’t do it. But for us it was a great feeling of peace and appreciation for the beautiful place. They had a deal that for the price of cable you can try the adventure park up at Dajti Mountain and my kids LOVED it. Not to be missed.

Great views of Tirana and the Adriatic coast from the top. Be prepared for some queuing especially in the summer and on weekends. We went during winter…luckily it was sunny and not too cold. On a clear day you should get a good view of Tirana and probably better to see in the morning with the sun facing the sea. There are activities for children at the top and restaurant for dining but when we went in for the restaurant there was too much of waiting time. The cable car ride itself is good experience. Recommended activity while in Albania.

Must do when in Tirana: - return ticket is 12eur, - ride takes app 20 min one way, - views are stunning, - at the top there is a whole infrastructure: hotel, coffee bar, mini golf, paintball, playground, toilets, horse riding, - arrived at 10am on thurs in May - good idea it was virtually no people.

I costs something around 1200 Lekks for To & Fro journey. You can reach the starting point by taking a bus from Tirana center, for 40Lekks. The ride itself was very amazing and you can see the entire city. Each car can hold around 6 people and you can have some food on the mounting top. They have lot of options to eat. I would definitely try again and it's a little expensive for the ticket price compared to what can be done with that money in the city center. Please don't judge me 😂. Checkout my images for better understanding and having some expectations. Good luck!

Worth the trip! It takes an hour to get from the city center to the top of the mountain. The restaurant is a little pricey but the service is very good. Lots of fun things to do at the top. Taking the bus is very easy and only 40 Lek. Take the blue “porcelain” bus from behind the Opera House and ride it to the end. From there it’s only a short uphill walk from there to the Dajti lift.

(Translated by Google) With the amazingly "fresh" cable car up to the mountain - enjoy the view over the city and the view into the distance. A small playground and various offers for food and drink pass the time. But it is also exciting to romp around a little off the beaten track, where you can meet paragliders or goats. (Original) Mit der erstaunlich „frischen“ Seilbahn hoch auf den Berg - den Blick über die Stadt und den Ausblick in die Ferne genießen. You must do this trip. Get a bus from near the main square. If you let the conductor know where you want to go they will make sure you get off at the right stop. You do walk up a steep hill to get to the cable car, 1200lek per person return for the car. Takes about 15 minutes to get to the top and from there the views are stunning. I am afraid of heights but the journey up was ok, the journey down I did have my eyes closed but about halfway down managed to take in the sites. Be aware if you are afraid of heights the cable car might not be for you.

Bedtbplace to visit if staying a few days in Tirana...CLOSED ON TUESDAYS! 15 min ride up and down for 1200 L per person(April 2023) Fantastic views on a clear day. Great restaurant on side of cliff with great views from your table. Hiking. Paragliding, horse riding, kids playground, miniature putting game...lots more! If you only have time to visit a couple of places on your visit to Tirana this would be one place and the Grand Park & Lake would be another!

I believe the price is extremely high for what it is offered. Take a look to the cabin it is not clean nor properly maintained and the windows are very dirty and scratched. Besides the money given for the cable car to work and the people who work in there get paid, they should take care of this cabins cause I really felt it was super pricey and the rise of the price comparing to previous years is just abusive.

  • 3/5 Ian O. 5 years ago on Google
The cable car ride itself costs 800 lek (6 euros) and offers great views along with a lengthy ride (~12 minutes, which we enjoyed). Once you are at the top, however, there isn't a lot to do. You can go to the restaurant which does have a nice view. For nature options, there are some 'trails' (roads) that are open to walk down, but some ways are closed. The whole place feels kind of like an amusement park that was shut down. A caveat to this - I did go in November which is the off season. Refer to videos to see what the cable car is like.

We arrived late, so we didn’t had a lot of time. Return ticket with the cable car was 1400 LEK per person and it took around 15 minutes to reach the top. The way up was fast but the way down was crowded because it was rush hour to go down. Parking is free very nearby.

(Translated by Google) It has been a great experience to catch the teleferic. The views from the top of the mountain are worth it since you can see the entire city of Tirana from the top. The only bad thing is that the glass of the booths are grated and annoying to take pictures. To get there you can take line 11 of urban bus (it is a blue bus) and take it in Skanderbeg square, next to the library. The price of the bus is 40 LEK, something like 33 cents. On the Bergstatuon one expects then unfortunately only two places and a good prospect. The immediate area is very ugly. If you like mini golf, you will find a nice train. Otherwise not very nice above. As a starting point for extensive mountain tours certainly very good. We were just disappointed up there. You spend half a day on it. Wonderful ride with stunning views! Very affordable and very comfortable ride. We were wowed by the sights of the city of Tirana, the mountains, stone homes, small farms, and then...views all the way to the Adriatic sea! It's a shame that so many people have abused the cable cars by carving their names and scribbles into the viewing windows, as it obscured our ability to take super-clear photos, but the view from our natural sight was great. Highly recommended!

Don’t miss this while in Tirana. Great tourist destination for families as well. You start from the station going up to the mountain top where you can stay for attractions. It the best thing and smartest investment in Tirane, even in Albania in last 30 years.

Cable car view was a nice way to see the beautiful landscape from the air. The car windows can be a little hard to take pictures out of. The price was 1600 lek ($16USD) for two which was reasonable. The restaurant/bar was closed at the top which was disappointing. A handful handful activities at the top which was neat and worth walking around for awhile. Overall a good, not great experience and worth an hour stop!
