Having stayed at Hotel Metro over 50 times, I can attest to its merits. The consistently friendly staff, cleanliness, and the attractive price-value ratio make it a highly commendable choice. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

We came from Canada and could really say that service was great. The location of the hotel is perfect and at night was quiet. The breakfast buffet was small but with lots of options from sweet to savory and fresh fruits. The room was big enough and equipped with everything we needed. The hotel also has a small parking for guests if needed.

What an amazing service!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Special Thank you for Edi and Besa! They went way beyond the extra mile We had some great services during our travels, but I can honestly say it was the one of the best. The hotel is in a great location, with shops and restaurants minutes away. Breakfast had a nice selection of food and really great coffee ,which probably is very important for most of us. It was our first time in Albania and Tirana. We will definitely be coming back !

Great place to stay. The level of hospitality was outstanding..got everything I needed - space to work, instructions on best restaurants, even free soft drink ;) The price is affordable, with a breakfast included. Room was big enough, clean and quiet. Close to the city attractions and the centre l. Thanks for having me there.

I had a fantastic stay at the Metro Hotel in Tirana. The location is superb, located in the trendy Blloku district where you can find numerous charming cafes, bars, and attractions. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and modern. Additionally, the young lady at the reception was helpful and kind. (The hotel guest that said (ferr)minderit' instead of 'faleminderit'.)

We booked in for a night - first time in Tirana. The staff were extremely helpful and a credit to the hotel. The receptionist on arrival and departure was absolutely fantastic. Her name is Besa and she certainly deserves a mention. She even offered to carry our luggage to our room ( we declined as it was too heavy). Also it rained heavily during the night and when we came down for the free breakfast, a staff member had covered our motorcycles with plastic. We had dry bikes to ride off on !

Sweet staff. Good location. Nice room. Noisy construction work all night outside unfortunately but that was nothing the hotel staff could do anything about.

Best hotel to stay in Tirana. First the location is perfect, tou can reach anywhere in the centre of Tirana walking. Then the hotel in itself is very nice, nice cafe ar the entrance, nice rooms and very good breakfast. Special mention to Besa and all the staff who is very welcoming, pleasant and professional. They will do everything to make your stay in Tirana as good as possible. Many thanks and hope to be back soon!

Excellent location wrt the centre of Tirana. Good service. Parking service available. Gaps under room front doors let in light and sound. Could hear them preparing breakfast downstairs at 06 AM!

Room area was good. Breakfast is always the same items for one week. Service is poor. Telephone set was out of order and they said it can't be fixed. Location is in a small side street, but the good point is that it's located near to many shops and restaurants.

Our hotel in Tirana, period. Simply the best staff! the breakfast needs revising and reviving, its rather sad, and not vegan friendly. However, staff will accommodated going to purchase a nut milk and cereal is available. as well toast. some store bought fruit in a basket. but its yes, sad. Otherwise, beds are great, pillows unreal, and super clean the team is fantastic. Until next visit. Many thanks as always!

The staff was ever so helpful and kind. I spent almost a month there on a business trip and I felt like with a family. The place was beautiful and clean, the room light and spacious, nice place to rest and relax. Nice bar by the reception for a nightcap or midday coffee. One tiny thing - the breakfast buffet could be improved.

I love everything about it, but mostly the staff that is extremely helpful even before your stay - helps you get prepared by ordering a taxi to pick you up at the airport, orders a birthday cake for your partner that is celebrating birthday, indicates a exchange place to go to get a good rate. Location is amazing, bedrooms are really good and comfortable, shower is great. I found it a pearl and would come back and recommend without doubt! Thank YOU! You are very special people and deserve the best guests.

Awesome hotel! The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. They were very helpful and always went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay. The rooms are very clean, big beds, hot water, great AC and the location is perfect. Next to tons of cafes, bars and restaurants and a short walk to the main square and the biggest park in the city. Hope to be back one day. Big Thanks! 🙏🏻😊

Okay, full disclosure- This is not a review of my “stay” at Metro, but a review of the way they handled an unusual request from a non-guest, and how it reflects on the superior quality of service I am sure their “real” guests receive. I am staying at an Airbnb apartment just down the street, primarily because I’m on a cycling holiday and knew I would need a place for my (expensive) bicycle as well as laundry and plenty of room for “stuff”. It’s a lovely apartment, but unfortunately I’m on the 12th floor that can only be accessed by a tiny, one-person elevator that I had no prior warning about. Try as I might, it could not accommodate the bike. Distraught, jet-lagged and HOT, I wandered outside looking for options, and saw the Metro. I went to reception, and though hot and sweaty, dressed in cycling gear, I was greeted as an honored guest by Bessa, my savior at reception. I explained my situation, and offered to pay to use their secure parking. She responded by offering me their staff break room, right next to reception, and refused any payment. This morning, when I went to retrieve it EARLY for a ride up to Dajti park, the overnight desk clerk, (didn’t get his name) was polite and helpful, and had been advised to expect me. This afternoon, following my ride, I went to return it for one more night, and Eddie the manager knew who I was, personally took my bike, and said they only hoped I would be a guest of theirs in the future. I certainly will! The kindness, empathy and genuine commitment to service is a rare combination in service industries today, and reaffirms my love for beautiful Albania and it’s wonderful people. If they treated me so well, imagine how they must handle their actual guests! Grateful for your kindness, Metro staff! Greg
