The rooms are great for the price. We had the 2 bedroom suite and it was very spacious. It gave a cozy feel. However, I was disappointed that there was no iron even when we called the desk. Traveling from America, all my clothes got wrinkled and I really needed an iron. I would expect a hotel to have that for their guests since they are traveling with clothes in luggages. Also, the person by the bar is money hungry when they find out you are from America. I was basically asked for a trip for buying a $1 water ( which is absurd because the water in Albania is not $1 per a small bottle after speaking to locals. It is overpriced for guests). The price is whatever, but a tip for water, really??? You can get around in a 15 minute walk to a fun area or you can take taxi. Being right next door to police station made me feel safe.

Hotel room: Average Service & Checkout: Disaster I booked the hotel via HRS/Check24. Traffic in rush hour is a catastrophe in Tirana. With a lot of luck we were able to a parking space at the hotel at the side of the road. Unfortunately, you can't rely on it here. You should have alternatives ready. The check-in went smoothly. The rooms are average, a bit outdated. The rooftop bar is nice, but unfortunately they didn't open the pool when it was over 25 degrees in October. The check-out was a disaster! It took ages, allow yourself time. Pay close attention to your bill. In advance, 4 rooms cost 284€ via HRS plus taxes of of 3-4€. However, the hotel wanted to charge me 370€. Only when I got suspicious and asked, the staff corrected instantly the bill. (has felt intentional - they told me it was a mistake about the taxes) Be careful when paying with your credit card. The staff entered and confirmed the amount so quickly, that I couldn't see what amount I was supposed to pay. I was under pressure for time and felt rushed at the same time. Then I was supposed to enter my pin, which was displayed in plain text on the terminal. Because of the stress I didn't question it. The staff pressed something and then I was at the correct field for Entering my Pin. I'm very unsettled that the unprofessional receptionist now has my PIN in plain text. Completely unprofessional and dangerous. It is better to pay in cash, this procedure of the hotel is an impertinence and dangerous for your payment data. Unfortunately, because of this negative experience, I only give it 1 star.

I booked the design apartment. A big spacious flat with three balconies. It had 2 rooms, 2 toilets, an open kitchen with appliances, pots, pans, cutlery and plates. There was even washing up liquid and cleaning products in the cupboard under the sink. There was a dishwasher too. The corridors of the rest of the hotel were clean. There were birds on the stairs going up to the bar/cafe which was adorable. The swimming pool is not open as they said it’s only open in summers The reception staff was really kind and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mondial Hotel. All staff working there were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is beautiful! In addition, it’s great value for money! We only wish we could have stayed longer! :-)

We called the hotel a night before to use their pool and told us the price 800ALL and that was open up to 6PM. The next day we called again to confirm that we were coming and upon arrival the waiter told that it is not allowed for people outside the hotel. Called the receptionist and she started yelling and showing not interest, saying that the pool is managed by the waiter and I do not care about it. Came down to talk to her and as soon as I started speaking she shouted came to our elevator really angry trying to touch us and left with no respect at all after a waiter came to calm her down.

First time Staying in this hotel in Tirana. Very good Location, very good service, friendly and very helpful personnel. I loved seating on the rooftop having drinks by the pool area. Very good dining room and enjoyed the breakfast there. I will highly recommend.

The room is super clean and comfy. I slept like a baby in the room. 4. The bathroom is big and I got a tub in the bathroom! I love it so much!! Thank you for the service! Definitely a great experience staying there. Also, the place is very close to exchange money places, so as an international traveller, it makes it easier for me!

We were there with a group of about 25 people for a workshop, and everything about our stay at Hotel Mondial was excellent! Ernest who picked us up at the airport was our first good impression. Check- in was easy, the restaurant and bar staff were all very friendly and provided excellent service. We had our meals catered- and they served a great variety. Their desserts are excellent- and we also had a meal sampling traditional Albanian foods which was one of my favorites. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. They also have a great rooftop bar and restaurant, which we enjoyed almost every evening. The location was perfect for our group- we did a lot of walking and we had easy access to everything we wanted to see or do. They also help arrange nice day trips if you're interested. I travel a LOT for work, and I would HIGHLY recommend the Hotel Mondial!!!

I began working with the staff at Hotel Mondial in January for a March 2022 workshop. Working with them was excellent every step of the way. They were quick to respond, accommodated nearly every request, and everyone in our 25 person group was more than content with the service, their rooms, the food, and our conference space. Staff and management really went above and beyond! The facilities are wonderful and so are the rooms. Cannot recommend this place enough - if I ever host an event in Tirana again (or even just visit Albania again as a tourist), I'll be back at Hotel Mondial!

Such a wonderful stay (me and my boyfriend for one night) Friendly and very helpfull staff. Great room, good bed and the rooftop was perfect. Both evening for drinks and morning for a swim. We booked "airport shuttle" with the stay, which worked perfectly when we arrived (and delayed) Location was good in terms of food and shopping. There is some noise from the street (hotel is right in the center) but with door closed to the balcony it was nothing that bothered us. 5 stars from here :)

To start with, staff are very kind, from waiters to cleaning staff, incredibly sweet and accomadating. The cleanliness is impeccable, amenities were superb. The food was great and the breakfast is lovely. My fav part is the decoration. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the mood is relaxing. Perfect walking distance to the city and all activities. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Still here and everything is good inclusive of the shuttle service from the hotel. I'm very pleased with the quality of the hotel and service as well as the cleanliness. I don't hesitate to walk anywhere within a half hour walking distance. The Mondial is in a central location so convenient. I would stay here again.

The experience was good a bit overpriced but worth overall. The bar was great and the staff was very kind. Prices on the bar were cheap and the drinks were very good.

Fabulous hotel and absolutely recommended. Sadly, 1 star less for the concierge lady who I feel needs to make more of an effort and be welcoming to guests - a friendly smile goes a long way. Everyone else such as the amazing Grammoz and another gentleman who watches out for new guests have been wonderful. Also, Fabiola the spa therapist who is an absolute gem is worth a mention. I had the luxury of getting a facial and full body massage and she’s worth above and beyond every penny she charges so don’t forget to pay her a visit - 10/10! Overall an excellent visit to Tirana and a comfortable stay at Hotel Mondial - strongly recommend :)

A variety of available hotels to stay while in Tirana, however my wife and I chose to come to Mondial Hotel back to back as we traveled to southern Albania for a few days. Very clean, orderly, with spacious rooms and close to the center of Tirana. Parking could be a little bit of an issue, however we lucked out both times parking in the front of the hotel. Staff is very attentive, polite and respectful. Don’t forget to go on the roof as you can get a pretty good view of the surrounding mountains. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

We've had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were clean and well equiped, the rooftop restaurant and breakfast were good and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is located at a 10 minutes walk from the busstation and 20 minutes from the main square. Perfect for a Tirana citytrip.

The Mondial was a quiet, relaxing place to stay in the city center. What I liked: my room was simple and spacious. The service at the hotel, from reception to the restaurant, was excellent. The complimentary breakfast buffet served in the morning had great options; I liked the crepes, fresh bread, and the eggs. There were small birdcages on the landing of the stairs indoors which was a beautiful touch, I liked hearing the birds chirp softly in the morning. The location was central - I was able to walk around easily and without any problems. I felt safe. There are two ATMs very close to the hotel which was convenient, and there are many shops just steps away. The rooftop pool, while small, was a nice amenity. What I didn’t: finding a place to park around the hotel can be tough (generally speaking, its hard to find parking around Tirana). The wifi connection only worked about 50% of the time. There are only a handful of lounge chairs at the pool, most were taken when I arrived. The rooms look a little dated. Overall it was a nice stay. Thanks for the great hospitality.

Fine hotel near the city center of Tirana. Although it is a 4-star hotel our room had a 2-star bathroom. The roof terrace swimmingpool sounds good but was occupied by some people drinking their beer in the pool rather than at the pool. Food in the restaurant and breakfast where good.
