The office itself was posh and sparkling clean, the best and most up-to-date dental office I've ever been in. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They speak fluent English. The dentist Dr. Sara and oral and maxilofacial surgeon Dr. Lauren Muhametaj were amazing. The dentist was kind and knowledgeable. I was sick and scared, and she was absolutely patient and professional with me. I had a bad experience getting my tooth pulled in the US, so I was afraid, but the oral and maxilofacial surgeon Dr. Lauren was expert and removed the tooth painlessly. He really knows what he is doing. The prices are way lower than those in the US and Canada. I will definitely be back for implants in the fall. If you need implants or dental work, come to the Tirana Dental Hospital. Even with the flights and hotel expenses, the cost will be much lower than in North America. Or costs in European/UK ones. I hate the dentist but this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Because of covid complications i was unable to get treatment for my teeth in Spain. I Travelled to Germany and while I was there my problems persisted. A friend told me about Albania being more affordable and about his experience so I did a bit of research and booked a flight. I found Tirana Hospital on google and read the reviews so I decided to try my luck. It was super easy to make the appointment at the hospital and they were quick to respond over WhatsApp. The clinic is very clean and modern. We did some X-rays and they gave me my options. We were able to start treatment that very day. I am extremely afraid of needles and dentists in general, but Dr. Lauren was very gentle and patient with me. He took his time and paid close attention. Dr. Lauren is kind and professional and speaks great English. Upon meeting him I felt like I was in good hands. I had 5 visits over my stay in Tirana.
