Brilliant place for a calm and lovely holiday by the sea with a fantastic beach and equally marvelous staff - a great time at Umami/Static beach resort - definitely a favorite place to return to.

Love this place! Very clean, food is amazing, the water is very warm. I enjoyed the lively atmosphere, beautiful people. This is a small resort with pleanty of amenities. If you are visiting albania, you must go and stay a couple of days. Its very close to the international airport.

Perfect weekend (1 or 2 days) getaway from Tirana or Durrës. Umami is somewhat remote and a cab driver could have problems to locate the hotel. Once here you will be depending on the restaurant and bar on site. There is a small shop 10 up the road. Staff is super friendly and flexible. Coffee is excellent and the breakfast is good.

Super relax location. If you like quiet chill location, this is the right spot. Rooms are new and clean, good bed and a good working shower with good water pressure. Breakfast is simpel standard Albanian breakfast, water, orange juice and plate with egg, cheese, salami, 4 croissants and petula. Dont forget to ask for your coffee, they will serve it on your table. The beach is clean and wide and and the sunbeds are free for hotel guests. There are enough beds and are more spacious than in other locations where everything is cramped. Every night there is a spectaculair sunset. They have a big vegetable garden where they grow alot of their own vegetables. I will for sure come back one time.

It was a surprisingly excellent experience. The place is located in a quiet area in the southern end of Golem Beach. The food has been good, and the service was attentive. I highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Nice place for reset with your family :) the beach is 50m from the rooms :) food is so good.. ex. seafood, local brioszka. Dont know really what to say. The location is remote and its close to the sea. It was quiet and not too many people on the beach. Umbrellas and sunbeds appropriate. Could not really enjoy the sea due to jellyfishes everyday. Breakfast very, very, very basic. Not buffet style. Each morning we were asked what kind of eggs we want. We were than served egg of the choice with one or two slices of salami, two slices of tomato and three slices of cucumber. We were served each morning one croissant with chocolate and one with cheese. We were not given any bread, we had to ask for it every morning, and received one slice per person of not fresh bread. We have got also a 0.75 L bottle of watter and one glass of peach juice every morning. It seems that every peace of food brought to us was checked and calculated. Only on our departure day we were given double portions, i.e. two croissant with chocolate and two with cheese per person and I failed to understand why. The closest very small marked is 500 metars away but any bigger market was 15 minutes drive. No place to walk around since it is an isolated area. We had mosquitos as well. Rooms large but basic.
