We were overall very disappointed with our guide Piro. A lot of things didn't go according to plan, in the end we didn't visit 3(!) of the places that were advertised. He was unprofessional, he ran late and as soon as we would arrive somewhere he would disappear, zero guiding was done. Our accommodation was not arranged properly for two nights in a row and on top of all that, he talked bad words behind other costumers back. Maybe other guides at this agency are good, but better safe than sorry: book your trip with another agency to not risk ending up with this guide.

I booked a room from Discover albania and everything was great. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The room was huge and the view was great since it was a rooftop. As always it was very clean. We had a small problem where the AC was leaking water for some moments but nothing major. The location was perfect right in the heart of Tirana. To note if you come with a car it is a little difficult to find a parking spot no mater if it is free or paid parking it is difficult. Anyhow a great experience

I was able to visit Albania recently with a friend, a first visit for both of us, and it was simply fantastic. We only had a 3 days to explore the southern parts of the country, and thanks to our amazing tour guide Bledar, we were able to see more than we thought possible in that short time frame. We had selected a beach-centric tour package initially, but after we met with out tour guide and began discussing the itinerary and plan for the next few days we mentioned how it would be great to also one day see some of the local cities and forts in the area. Our tour guide suggested we try and squeeze in a few of those site visits, knowing how much we first time visitors would enjoy it and would still have enough time to enjoy the beach. We were immediately struck by this suggestion as it would mean a bit more work on his side with much more driving, and needing to change our hotel accommodations -- when he could have just sat on a beach for 2 days with us, but he wanted us to have the best possible first visit to his country. Amazing already! Overall our tour was great. We saw incredible vistas of the countrysides, mountains, beaches and everything in between. We toured beautiful churches, forts and castles while receiving interesting facts about them from our guide. He also told us the local history as we drove from location to location, in addition to engaging us in conversations about our own lives and histories of where we grew up. We could not have asked for a better experience for a first visit to Albania, and am very interested in returning to explore the northern areas of the country. Bledar was a top-notch guide who took care of us 100% of the time, allowing us to just sit back, relax, and enjoy our vacation. Thank you!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! A++++

My trip was fantastic! I didn't really know what to expect beforehand (not being used to travelling in groups) and was a little nervous, but everything was lovely. Denisa was incredibly helpful and friendly, and made sure that everyone had fun, even when the weather didn't cooperate (which did happen, although very rarely). The places we went were absolutely breathtaking.

Did a hike with this “company” to the mountain of Bukaniku. At the mountain top the guides left and did not even tell us. Luckily we found another group managed by a different company and were able to get down. When we called them on the phone they were surprised we were missing. They did not even realize that after 1 hour 2 people were missing. For foreigners it is hard to get lost in these areas. Please be safe and use another company!!!

For us the timing was perfect as it provided great weather and we avoided any major congestion (other than getting into and out of Tirana).
