Our trip to Valbona on September 16, 2023, was bad from the start. The bus that transported us had 50 passengers and was excessively large for the narrow mountain roads. This led to significant delays, turning what should have been a 3-hour trip to Lake Komani into a 6-hour drive. Upon our arrival, the ferry was overcrowded due to the agency accommodating 100 people (two buses, 50 people each) alongside other passengers, creating a chaotic and unpleasant experience that prevented us from truly enjoying the journey. We reached the "hotel", at the end of Valbona at 5 pm. Finally, we were offered "lunch" without having anything else since 6 am but the stuff we prepared. This meal was far from average, consisting of two pieces of meat, mostly bones, and three small servings of french fries with a tasteless salad. The late arrival left us with no time to explore the area, as it already got dark. Dinner was equally disastrous, offering a choice between meatless fish or a cold chicken breast with the texture of wood, accompanied by a kids serving of french fries (pictures show how we received the plates). To make it worse, they played music louder than a concert music that left our ears in pain until the next morning. On the second day, we were instructed to have breakfast between 8:00 and 9:30 am. However, when we arrived at 8:30, everything had already been consumed, leaving us with only some cheese crumbs and bread. We had to eat the food we had brought with us the previous morning, and all we received in response was a feeble apology with the promise that such an oversight would not happen again. During our return trip, we briefly visited Prizren in Kosovo, where we were granted only two hours to explore the city and have lunch independently. We were rushed back onto the bus, which later broke down, resulting in a three-hour delay before finally reaching Tirana. This was the whole day...2 hours in Prizren! I do not recommend this agency. It is overpriced, and you'll find yourself spending 90% of your time on buses with horrible organizing and program!
