As
a
solo
female
traveler
you
have
to
be
really
careful
about
where
you
go
for
things
like
massages.
Here
was
the
incident
happened
on
23
July,
2023.
I
came
in
around
4pm
and
chose
60
minutes
swedish
massage.
The
reception
directed
me
to
the
locker
room
provided
with
a
key,
asked
to
store
all
my
belongings
include
purse
with
valuable
items
etc.
in
the
locker.
Then
I
changed
my
clothes
and
put
on
the
bathrobe,
followed
the
masseur
to
the
room
and
started
the
session.
The
session
finished
around
5pm,
and
I
went
to
the
locker
room
to
get
change
and
proceeded
for
payment
at
the
reception.
Then
I
returned
to
the
hotel
and
relaxed
for
a
while.
At
that
moment,
I
checked
my
purse
and
found
out
200
Euro
was
missing
from
the
rest
of
the
money.
(Total
of
1750
Euro).
Right
away,
I
went
back
to
the
massage
center
to
request
for
viewing
the
CCTV.
The
reception
immediately
told
me
there
was
no
CCTV
at
the
locker
room,
but
there
is
one
only
at
the
reception.
She
said
they
are
not
liable
for
any
lost
and
stolen
items,
customers
have
to
take
their
own
responsible
for
keeping
things
in
the
locker,
as
we
are
the
one
holding
the
locker
key
and
there
aren't
any
second
keys.
I
suggested
to
call
the
police
for
investigation,
but
instead
she
contacted
the
manager
to
come
in.
When
the
manager
arrived
to
the
center,
he
showed
angry
face
to
me,
asking
me
about
my
nationality
and
documents.
I
were
treated
like
a
criminal.
He
told
me
this
kind
of
incidents
never
happened
before
here
and
told
to
call
the
police
myself.
No
investigation
was
conducted
and
insisted
that
I
lost
my
money
somewhere
else.
At
the
end,
I
just
gave
up
and
left
the
place.
Briefing,
l
conciuded
:
1)
The
old
safety
and
security
system
should
be
abandoned.
And
the
outdated
technology
needs
to
upgrade
to
newer
systems
such
as
install
additional
CCTV
around
both
male
and
female
locker
rooms,
that
can
provide
better
protection
and
improve
security
posture.
2)
The
proprietor
concerns
only
own
benefits
and
reputation.
3)
The
proprietor
should
always
put
himself
in
other
people's
shoes.
4)
There
is
a
need
to
upgrade
the
old
fashioned
lockers
into
smart
keyless
digital
Iocker
lock
(digilock)
as
to
guarantee
the
security
and
privacy
of
customers'
items.
In
conclusion,
here
are
some
advices
for
everyone's
prevention.
1)
do
not
put
valuable
items
in
the
Iocker.
2)
do
not
believe
there
isn't
any
second
keys.
All
proprietors
always
own
a
set
of
master
keys
from
their
end.
3)
always
count
how
much
money
you
have
in
the
wallet
before
and
after,
if
you
must
store
valuable
items
inside
the
locker.
This
is
because
you
will
not
notice
a
little
amount
of
money
missing
from
your
wallet.
Or
alternatively,
bring
all
valuable
things
with
you.
