Landmark from the communist era! This is where the members from the communist party would hold their congress meetings!

The Congress Palace was designed and built in the 1980 as a symbol of communist ideology and the power of expression of totalitarian regime. Today, the palace is used as a well-known venue hosting conferences, festivals, exhibitions, trade and commercial fairs, ceremonies, concerts and other events.

Pallati i Kongreseve, or the Palace of Congresses, is a striking architectural landmark in the heart of Tirana. This imposing structure, with its socialist-era design, stands as a symbol of Albania's history and aspirations. While its exterior may appear imposing, its interior houses various venues, including a theater, concert hall, and conference rooms, making it a versatile hub for cultural and artistic events. The Palace's cultural significance and unique architectural character make it a noteworthy site for visitors interested in the country's past and its evolving role in hosting a wide array of cultural and artistic performances and gatherings.

Impressive place...before it was used by communists and today it is used by so many different organisations and businesess. My experience in this place was great because I attended an Evangelistic outreach event with Will Graham, preachibg a message of salvation through Jesus Christ. The place was packed with people and some where standing on the corridors and even outside since there was not many chairs free. Many people received Jesus in their heart for the first time.It was just great to see and be a part of this event. One thing that is lacking here in the Palace is the airconditioning- it was weak when the place is full of people so be prepared to sweat!

It was built during the late communist era to host the Congresses of Albanian Labour Party and other main activities. Today, the palace is used as a nonfunctional venue, that hosts conferences, festivals, exhibitions, ceremonies, concerts and more. It currently has a capacity of 2,100 seats. There are three other smaller halls, with a smaller capacity of 150, 280 and 300 people, designed as working environments for different meetings and occasions. It was designed to harmonize different elements of the local architecture from north to south

So perfect place and location. Rely on this place is one of the landmark of Albania. But unfortunately is so poor interior design and there is no any kind of remodeling or renewing things.

I'm impressed, it's really very good place for political or religious functions, beautiful and clean, also it has a huge space, just there should be added dustbins as per perticular distance, and for people A parking place too. Happy to see today HALAL EXPO THERE (27 march 2022 Sunday).

I have been here for a couple of events and have seen it styled in different ways. It’s very multifunctional and looks really nice especially from the inside. I have been here to concerts, political rallies, balls, book fairs, ect. I think some updates would be nice but overall it is a good use of the space

The Fair itself is ok, various companies, from different countries, so many interesting people. But facility itself is not so good. The entrance doors were open whole time, and today was particularly cold weather in Tirana. Inside the facility because of the open doors was freezing, almost like in fridge. In one moment based on our intervention they have closed one side of the doors but still it was quite cold. Klik Expo Group must do much better job because the participation fee is not cheap.

Disrespectful workers and very very disappointed. They destroyed my dream event. Let me tell you the story. I did my book launch in Oval Room B in 18 October 2023 at 15:00 o'clock. Three days before they asked me to do the payment, went there, did my payment and told them about a monitor that I could connect my PC with the TVs. I had to buy a cable so I could connect my PC with the monitor. I did bought the cable and in 14:30 18.11.2023 went there to prepare the event. There was no monitor, called the one who was in charge that day by name Bledi who had told me that he was going to be there all the day but he never come there. Called him and told him about the monitor, he said we took it away. I told him you promised that the monitor was going to be here where is it! He never answered or helped at all. It went 15:45 and all my guests including public figures plus tv was waiting and got mad... Called the girl to who I did the payment but got nothing at all. Called Bledi many times he told me someone was going to come and closed the phone. No body come, no body cared at all... First time in my life meeting such disgusting and disrespectful people. Tried to call them the day after but nobody answered. So here I write everything and I am able to prove it even if we go to the court. The owners need to do something because when it come to the payment the wanted it 3 days before. Sincerely Leonard Nika

Landmark, taking place a lot of important activities. It is situated in downtown Tirana 🇦🇱. It is an attractive building with a ectavagant style. It should be part of touristic sites because fo history of Tirana and the beauty of its own.

People either love this type of buildings or hate it. I enjoy it's look and think it would be even more interesting if it had some colour.
