If you are lucky you will be served by the best waiter probably in the entire world. The quality of the service was fantastic. The Hotel is very modern. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Beach is nice rooms are big and the hotel is at a very good location

Great hotel. The staff was extremely nice from receptionists to the waiters. It was a family vacation and we all enjoyed it. Food was good, pool was nice, beach was very good also. We took jet ski and also there was live music at evening. We loved it. Totally a modern hotel with a very polite staff and great atmosphere.

I can’t speak on the hotel as I have not stayed there, but I will be reviewing the restaurant downstairs. If you come here please avoid ordering any type of fish as you will be disappointed. The risotto with seafood was quite good though. Also I would recommend the pizzas there, especially with beef prosciutto topping.The seafood platter is not the best but the seafood sauce is similar to a nice sweet chilli sauce. The ambience is not the best when they are playing live music as it is quite loud and the music is not what you would expect for a luxury hotel. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. If you come here with a group of friends or family do expect the bill to be €200 + depending on what you order.

One of the best accomodation in Durres.Rooms are crystal clear and foods served are as fresh as can be.I enjoyed very much the big variety of choices for breakfast and the pure Italian style espresso coffee in the lounge.Staff is very kind and Professional and for sure this will be my choice for the next visit in Durres.

This hotel has the best coffee I've tried in Durrës. Not just the coffee is nice in here: the staff is professional, the service is good, the facilities are good, the views of the beach are amazing, the terrace outside is the best place during the day.

Really nice hotel. Big rooms. Everything new. Beautiful bathroom with walk in shower. Nice pool outside. Free umbrellas on the private beach. Unfortunately hotel is placed almost directly next to the big port. Water quality is far away from standards. If you want to book room make sure is that room from beach side otherwise you end up to very loud street with lories.

We only had drinks here, but it was a perfect location to refresh after a long stroll on the beach. Cocktails were great and also well priced.

They charged for the room +130€ more than was suppose. Service was rude and the waitresses didnt give change correctly until I mentioned to them to give my own money back. The coffee machine in breakfast was out of service for entire week! Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Great room with amazing views to the sea. Room was clean, great shower and everything worked. The hotels own beach was amazing, shallow so very suitable for kids. Service was slow in the bar, we waited for pizza for almost an hour. Breakfast was lousy. All in all, great hotel for a few days stay (if I stayed any longer, I would get breakfast elsewhere).

It can’t be 4 stars. The apartment is new, but here start the problems: safe didn’t work, and staff changed it only in two days; balcony didn’t opened, and they fixed it only for THREE DAYS (omg)! Because the staff on reception always forget everything. You must tell them all 3 days about problem, and all these days they said “we will fix it today” and didn’t do that. Than I came and ask about my problem, the receptionists tell that they already done it, but they done it not in my room, they confused the rooms! The girls in reception didn’t care about clients. In the restaurant, waiters prefer people from outside more than people who live here in hotel, so you can wait for your paid dinner for a very long time. I had Birthday at my vacation and hotel do nothing for me: no peace of cake, no little surprises, only problems with apartment.. The women from reception said, that we can’t go from beach to our rooms in beachwear, but there no changing room at beach, only dirty toilets, so where I should change my clothes? And by the way, I saw another peoples in beachwear, and women didn’t tell them anything. Why one people can do it but another can’t? I’m truly don’t recommend this hotel. It was the worst experience.

In the room that we've got, when lights were off there was still a green light in the room. We requested to change the room with the sea view but recepsionist girl said "its not possible now" 🤷🏻‍♂️

Pretty, minimalistic and perfectly clean rooms. First we mistakenly got assigned a room that was still being cleaned, but the receptionist instantly switched it to a room with a seaside view even better than what we had paid for. Breakfast was good, although it could be improved. Outside pool was also really clean and nice. I’d say this is among the top accomodation you can find in Durres. Highly recommend.

This was a really enjoyable and quality time in Amara. Amara is on the top hotel list for us so far. It's 4* star hotel but we'd give it 5* based on the recent experience. Me and my wife booked a trip to Albania and stay in Amara Hotel and SPA through Golden Travel (our 1st and only choice tour company in Kharkiv). Upon arrival we got help with the luggage at the door of the hotel. We were registered in about 5 minutes. We had a seaview standard room on the 4th floor (top floor). The view was terrific. You wake up and find a sea outside the window, and it's so close. There is Durres port on one side, and sealine hotels with beaches on the other side. Hotel. It's new, fresh, and very clean. It has its own beach, pool with a sea view, and restaurant. Good wifi signal for regular networking and even for remote work. Room. We adored it from the first glance. Everything was brand new including plumbing, shower area, furniture. Bed was sturdy and comfortable. Besides, it was cleaned perfectly. Honestly, first time we had such a new and clean room. Cleaning service. Everyday, with no exceptions, including towel change every two days and linens every 3 days. Pool service. You can get drinks and a pizza at a pool. Towels are free of charge. Breakfast was included. Buffet - eggs, sausages, bacon, vegetables, cheese, cakes, pancakes, cold drinks, hot beverages, etc. P.S. There were plenty of food but we had breakfast at around 10-10.15 am everyday :) Breakfast was from 7.30 until 10.30 am. Restaurant. It was a true pleasure sitting in it for lunch and dinner. They have Italian, Albanian, and Mediterranean dishes. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They accept Leke, euro, dollars in cash and you can pay with a card. Relaxing live music every evening for a few hours. Big Thank you to everyone from the restaurant for the great service, especially to Francesk who has been doing a great job. Reception. This is the last but appeared to be one of the most important parts of our comfort during the stay. Reception staff was exceptional. We had some issues with the car rental company which they helped to resolve in the best possible way. Also, they were very helpful and responsive with return transfer and late check out. We've never dealt with reception that much previously, but I understand now how a proper service should be provided. We'd like to express our gratitude to Abi, Fiona, Kristina, and Samanta from reception. You are the ninjas of service :) Thank you to each and everyone from the staff at the hotel! Amara is highly recommended and will be our 1st choice next time in Durres. Faleminderit Shumë!

The hotel is in a beautiful location directly on the sea. Fast check in, pay only in leke. no requests for drinks or food to the rooms, no kettle or coffee machine, and they only put two bottles of water for the first day only. I recommend a room with a sea view, there is a balcony overlooking the beach. Some nights there was live music. The hotel is new and very clean. Thank you receptionists Samantha and Flona for their kindness

I visited this place with my family for the new year. It was great, the rooms were clean , the music was good, the food was great i suggest you to go it’s value the money!!
