Be careful, they tried to cheat us with the bill. Room was clean.Breakfast service staff was very friendly. Concerning your reply: Charing extra costs over 10% for paying in your local currencie is what i called it before. You are lying as you said we could not pay cash. We finally paied you cash! Secretly typing in this higher amount in your credit card maschine,after you received my credit card is also cheating for me. I am used to choose the currencie when paying with credit card. But not i your hotel.

The view from one of the two sea view rooms was nice, even though we had booked two front view sea view rooms, we got a front view and a side view because according to the hotel both are the same. Nevertheless, you can explicitly book a room with a side view, so you feel a bit fooled. They take your ID or passport on arrival and usually only give it back on departure, this is not a normal international practice and does not encourage tourism. I asked for my ID back and they had a copy made. The room is okay but the whole building is incredibly noisy. The bathrooms are in dire need of a refurbishment. The coffee machine failed at breakfast. When we left we were supposed to pay for things from the room bar/fridge that we never took, only when we said we could call the police, they gave in and so we suspect they wanted to fool us and get even more money out of us. Impossible behavior for a supposed four star hotel, I hope other people prevent from staying there.

Amazing staff on reception and one waiter in the restaurant - 5 stars for them. The cleaning ladies cleaned the room almost every day! Five stars for them as well! Food… okay we only had breakfast, BUT every.single.morning - THE SAME MENU! A toasted bread is a luxury… Please, change something! 10€ per day for the usage of the pool?!? We understand it’s pandemic, but at least communicate it before the guests come! I would have paid for 5 star hotel instead! I am sorry I don’t speak Albanian. It would have been amazing, but you need to understand that if you want international tourists, English language needs to be part of the menu. If I order freshly squeezed juice, I would not like to get a syrupy colored water. Oh yeah, the cherry on the top: there is a construction building next door. Better get ready to hear some loud noises while on vacation!

This hotel I will never recommend to no one.i had to stay 12 days, but for 3 days of my stay in this hotel I had too many problems and we chek out and find another hotel to continue our vacation . First the junior suit with sea view is too old for the price of 89 euros for one night that we paid. the electricity in the apartment wasn't safe and right.the pool you must to pay extra if you want to use it. The staff who work in the restaurant is kind and very friendly but the staff at the reception and in the hotel is on the lowest level.I was with my family and that was totally disaster. The pictures they have of the suite on their page and the reality is totally different. The 4 stars Hotel. I can't give them 1 star. I will never again visit this hotel.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Terrible. It was the most expensive hotel we could book, yet it was absolutely terrible. Old, ugly, nothing like the pictures. They were cheap about everything (breakfast was basic, they didn’t even provide cups in the room, the wifi was week, the A/C only worked a few hours a day, the mini fridge was loud, etc), yet the price-tag was hefty compared the hotels nearby. The teracce is so small, with two plastic chairs you can’t fit outsite. Would not recommend! It is not even 3 starts worth!

Unfortunately I can not recommend Majestic hotel - under some circumstances. Expectations were high when we booked and later arrived at the hotel, but already on arrival we were disappointed. The pools are not included in the price and if you use it it costs 8 euros per Person per day - which results in no one using it and thus a boring round, should you still have the courage to do so, there are not the things you are not allowed to do by the pool: The children are almost not allowed to play and have fun There are no proper sun loungers The parasols are packed with at the slightest breeze. I do not understand requiring extra payment from its guests at an already expensive hotel to use the pool rather than get more life and maybe it will result in people buying an ice cream or beer by the pool. We were far from the only ones who have not seen this extra charge as we talked more more and saw more go again. There are beach chairs by the beach in the hotel but if you move from the place you have been referred then you have to prepare for a longer discussion with them about this. The hotel itself: Is by no means 4 star - if I have to be nice (and have had a few drinks) Max 3 star. The room is worn - all pictures are cheating in the grossest way. No hot water in the shower Sometimes no water either The view - is ok but the balcony is so small that it can be the same. The breakfast is served in what is reminiscent of a back room (fair enough with a view and the opportunity to sit around the pool) and is not very good. A / C makes a lot of noise The service at the hotel is non-existent and it seems to most like a money machine that does not care about the guests. I will never ever choose this hotel again and I will at any time resign from others to do so. It is one of the most expensive hotels in the city (on booking) price and quality are in no way related and it is simply too poor in terms of what you pay. If you are going to the beach, I would also choose another hotel. I can not think of anything good to say about this hotel - so it should be just when we checked out.

We only sat at the bar for one drink, Firstly overpriced drinks 500 lek for beer and 200 for juice, thats fine but without any notice around their closing time they just turn off music and light living guests in the dark and they left without saying anything. Poor service 👎🏻

Right on the beach front. Absolutely fantastic hotel. Big rooms. Spotlessly clean. Comfy beds. The sea view was fantastic at sunset. The breakfast has a little bit of everything. Coffee was weak and disappointing. The restaurant and the terrace have an amazing view of the beach and promenade. Food is fantastic with a huge menu and stone cooked pizza pie. There is only one word tontruely describe this hotel. Majestic.

Was an ok hotel. The number of restaurants in the area was more in the limited side, and even if the food was good so restaurants had pretty much the same menu. The hotel did not really impress me with its breakfast. The few pieces of meat that was offered was of bad quality, looked not appealing and tasted thereafter. Ok poolarea and nice food in the restaurant. Will try a new hotel for the next visit!

The Majestic hotel is the place to be if you're going to the beach in Durrës. Great amenities, beautiful boutique hotel, spacious enough rooms and they will assist you right away with anything you need. Starting from the receptionist Xhulia, which was amazing on helping us with a smooth check-in and making sure that our stay was satisfying, Alda too 😊 Also the cleaning crew lead by Ana was great. The breakfast crew did an amazing job on assuring that all the customers were taken care as best as they could. Also Arlind who I think was the manager, was everywhere help was needed. He was the problem solver. Our family had a wonderful experience. We were so close to the water and our beautiful room had the most amazing view which made our stay like in paradise. Very friendly staff. We are definitely coming back here on our next trip to Albania 🇦🇱 Overall an amazing stay 😊

Bad customer service , you can’t ask for bed covers , the response is you shouldn’t be cold in summer time and they have no access to the covers only cleaners have access You can’t go to the beach on the day you are checking out , the answer from receptionist was , what will u do on the beach for an hour When you ask for manager , they say not available When you tell them this is not acceptable, the lady rudely said this is the rule , no customer experience taken into consideration Hotel location is good , dining restaurant is good , other than this , all bad experience and wouldn’t recommend it

Infernal noise from an AC unit outside the room. Mosquitos on the 5th floor. Shower on the beach does not work. Bed is comfortable. Shower in the room has good pressure and water is hot. Very few power outlets in the room. Wifi works well, even on the beach. Some staff are friendly (but not all). Beach is a bit dirty but we have come to expect that in all of Albania.

The Hotel Majestic in Durres is a complete disappointment. The abysmal service from the staff, exorbitant costs for every service, often sly and made-up charges just to squeeze money out of guests, all contribute to an appalling experience. This place treats customers like mere cash cows, offering nothing but overpriced mediocrity. Avoid at all costs. Just one example: I was charged 10€ for not consuming any beer or chips from the in-room fridge simply because their bottle of beer was broken and leaking from the cap.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The food was fantastic, reception was satisfactory, and the rooms were clean and well-organized. However, the bathroom could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness. On the bright side, the view from the balcony and window was truly amazing.

For a hotel with a beautiful location, solidly equipped, it is not allowed not to have a Drink and Coffee Menu. Tourists do not know how much coffee and drinks cost. The waiter just calculates the bill by heart and says how much it costs. They do not allow to pay with a bank card, under the pretext that the account is small.

First of all the food was spectacular, delicious sea food, wine and every detail on my plate. The rooms are so clean, and the staff very kind. I will come back again and strongly suggest to my friend. It is 10/10 🤍

This place is great, first I must say that I avoid the summer crowds in general. Now, having stayed at this place for many times in fact it is my hub, from here I plan my daily trip to different location in Albania, I can say this: there are other places along the beach, but this one gives me the feeling of comfort.The location facing the sea is marvelous, especially when there is some clouds, staff is excellent, food is great, service is great, price is reasonable. Almost forgot, the parking area is huge and secure, so no worries about that.

We are very satisfied with the staff and service. Breakfast is the same everyday and we are staying (yes, we are still here) for 11 nights! Our recommendation is to have beach lounge chairs until at least 15 October and not only until 15 October. Preis is good, the restaurant is good and the pool is free for hotel guests.

Really nice hotel, very clean, all staff are so friendly and helpful, food is tops. Situated right on the beach boulevard.

Breakfast is basic. Clean and quite fresh. Staff is friendly. They will do laundry. Pool was clean and free for us. The only problem I had really was that there are a section of rooms that have literally no darkness. They have just these fogged windrows which means you get sun on your face at the crack of dawn and there is absolutely no way to make the room dark, even at night due to the street lights. It’s completely baffling how a hotel can make SLEEP (literally the thjng they are selling) basically impossible. Also, restaurant is terrible aside from the pizza.

Great place, good price, only 38 eur for a room for 2. Breakfast is standard per person, not buffet, but the waiter was there for anything you would require. Everything was clean and neat and the proximity to the bach makes it more appealing

A wonderfully hotel with amazing view to the ocean, felt like a dream when i woke up and watch out of the window (Room601). Clean and compact as u expect! Just the shower had less pressure of water but thats like the only thing i could nag about it. The receptionist was very respectfully and friendly, especially the madam with long blackhair! The breakfast was on point and the waiters were very friendly and courteous. The food was very good shoutout to the chief! We will see us again next summer, for sure !

Not 4 star at all. Prices are very high, not corresponding to service at all. Towels, water, pool are for additional fee. Breakfast is of overfried eggs with cold (the worst ever tried) coffee. No air in rooms, old uncomfortable pillows and mattresses. TV is so high that it is not possible to watch it. No kettle, no cups, no iron... Nothing in the rooms

Attention !!!!! The CLEANERS ARE THIEF and then staff accused the guest for stealing towels !! We had a family room for four nights 28 june to 02 July 2022 . Found the room with no body towels and no hairdryer (in website they say they provide them), asked for them , got them and when we checked out we have been accused for stealing towels, can you believe TOWELS ,and the so called manager searched our suitcases in the car park they provide ( very overcrowded and my car been scratched and hit ), like police searching for drugs , didn’t find anything that wasn’t ours !! We never been so humiliated in my entire life ! The reason why I decided to go in this hotel was as reviews were positive but when i checked today I saw as the 70% of the positive ones were from albanian people, probably from staff’s relatives . The staff is polite and smily but don't get fooled after that fake smile as the thief cleaner was smily too ! PS: nothing is like they advertise in their website , room is small, AC is so noisy, breakfast is same every morning and flies in the food everywhere, pool is small and extra charge , if you pay with euro instead of 8( for person) they say you will pay 9 , cocktails not in the menu and they will ask you if you are from western they will charge you double of the price for it . Beach overcrowded and dirty, cigarets butts everywhere , water warm but very dirty !! First time in Albania and never again especially in this called Hotel !!!!

Not even 1 single star the worst experience ever , aggressive reception staff, no blanket at rooms and when we ask the receptionist answer its summer time, the hotel prevent us from using the beach on the dY of checkout although it should be at 11 am and the receptionist asked us what you will do in beach for only one hour??? and the manager definitely was not not available what a mess????

just checked out, we checked out at about 3am. At the counter was a person with glasses without frames and a tattoo on right hand. He checked our rooms and said their were missing some stuff (a beer and a chocolate). We never opened the refrigerator. I offered to call the police to take fingerprints, but first of all we had no time, so dear Manager, please call the police and contact me please. Thank you. worst experience in my life. i cant recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is truly Majestic. The moment we arrived Julia made us truly feel like family. The entire hotel was clean and all the employees were kind and considerate. This is a top notch hotel. The beach area was reserved for each room and the pool was clean and fun for the kids both big and small. The traditional Albanian breakfast with some additional items that are kid friendly. It was delicious. They answered questions and helped us as we had a tough start to our trip when our luggage did not arrive. This was not only a well deserved vacation for our family but one we will truly never forget. Thank you everyone at the hotel for making this truly magical for my family!

We booked a family room, I guess it was the second biggest and not cheap at all 🫰... The bad experience started immediately during checking process... They will charge you more (+30-40%) for accessing the Swimming Pool 🤦. Also they will charge you +15% more when they will convert the Price from Euro to your Paying Currency 🤦. They will charge you more even for accessing the beach...In the morning they tell you the option is available only in the check-in moment 🤦. They will ask you to prepay everything, so there will not be chances for complains and reimbursement 🙈😔. The shower doesn't work at all...You will be burning 🥵 after you try to fix the water. They say it is a 4 stars hotel, but in fact has 2-3 stars. In the end, they do not accept any complains and their is no chance to talk to their managers...they are hiding.
