Albanian Hospitality at its finest. The wonderful host explains everything and shows you the beautiful room. The Raki, wine, sweets and snacks are there to grab whenever you need it. Breakfast is home-made and exactly as per your wishes. If you are in Berat, or close to Berat, please book this hotel room. The host will make sure you would have wanted to stay more Nights. Julian

I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here for 10 days and felt so cared for and at home. The hotelier, Pettrage, was so welcoming and generous. The location is perfect, and the breakfasts are nourishing and beautiful. We were there for Easter and they even gave us little dyed eggs! It was so sweet. Amazing stay, Pettrage was incredibly welcoming and generous. The rooms were amazing and beds super comfy, breakfast and drinks included which was a lovely touch. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting berat, perfect location and wish we stayed longer!

This hotel was incredible! The price the breakfast the service everything so worth it. The owners very friendly and they also provide a very healthy organic breakfast. You also have a chance to try for free lots of Raki ( traditional alcohol) and wine. Extremely RECOMMENDED WILL GO BACK FOR SURE

The stay was excellent. The hotel is clean and tidy, the owner of the place was friendly and speaks three languages. We had the best breakfast with super fresh homemade things.

We had a fantastic stay here in Berat. Service like most of Albania is incredible and the hotel is perfectly located in the centre within walking distance to everywhere. Everything seems brand new with the hotel even though you are staying in an original house. Free parking is also available about 1 min from the hotel. Breakfast was included and is delicious and huge! Will definitely recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Berat. Thanks for the incredible stay!

This little gem in Berat made our trip unforgettable. We spent one night there. We were a bit late at our check in but the owner waited for us with raki, tea and fruit on the house. He was extremely helpful and welcoming and spoke several languages including Greek, Italian and French. Truly looked like someone enjoying what they do! The rooms and amenities were clean, tidy and fresh. The breakfast was amazing with mostly local products. The property was recently renovated and with attention to detail. Our medium sized dog was also welcome to stay with us, big plus and rare! 100/10 would recommend!

If you pass by Berat, you should definitely stay at Amalia boutique hotel. We spend only one night there with our medium dog and wish we could have stayed more. The rooms are new, well equipped and very well decorated. The host is incredibly kind and helpful. He welcomed us at the hotel even thought we arrived very late, he had food and beverage ready for us. The breakfast was amazing , only local products. Sadly we don’t have the name of the owner , but the only thing I have to say is thank you for your welcome, for your hospitality and kindness. Definitely a memory we will keep in our heart and mostly thanks to the owner of the hotel !

Everything is perfect! The hotel is located in the old city. The owner is extremely welcoming which makes you feel at home. The place is quite small but cosy, new, clean and well-furnished. The breakfast is diverse, delicious and served in the garden. Moreover, the hotel offers complimentary drinks and snacks during a stay. Highly recommended for everyone!

I dare say this is the best place we stayed in in Albania. The building and rooms are beautiful. Well designed and executed. Nice area to have breakfast or a rest during the day. The breakfast was incredible. The owner was very friendly and attentive and speaks french and Italian, but is happy to communicate in English when needed. Great value for money. I wish we could have stayed there longer then 2 nights.

We had great time in Amalia hotel was very clean with delicius breakfast and the owner Petraq was very kind offer tea ,coffe ,raki and wine for free also he take us to the terminal of buses. I would recommend everyone to stay here. Thank you for everything. Definitely we come back.

A nice warm small hotel in a beautiful city. Our room was a little bit small: ok for two nights, less ok for more nights. Full sight on the toilet and shower. Clean hotel, staff helpfull and friendly. If you want you room to be cleaned you have to ask in the morning. Breakfast is very good: various tasteful products. My partner has a cowmilk allergy: they provided a breakfast 100% fit to her wishes.

A nicely furnished little hotel in a great location. The best about the place however, is the host! The owner takes great pride in making you feel welcome. He is there to greet you (make sure you give them an accurate time of arrival or update them with delays), can give tips where to eat or where to go, takes an interest in his guests and offers great hospitality with home made wine and cold teas and a large selection of rakis set out in the breakfast room for the guests to enjoy. The breakfast is plentiful and absolutely delicious and can be taken in the sheltered courtyard or inside. The owner speaks some english and excellent italian and french. We absolutely loved our stay there and wish we could have stayed longer!!

We had a perfect 1 night stay at Amalia Hotel, its very clean, the decor is great, the bed is soooo comfortable, the breakfast is amazing although a little too big for me, but you could have as much or as little as you wanted. The owner gave us a lift to the bus station the next day, he is very friendly and accommodating, really cared that we were comfortable and had a nice stay. Offered to do some washing for us, he let us have some Raki, Wine,tea and coffee (anything we needed), the mountain tea was really good. Close to some restaurants and only a short walk over the bridge to shops, bars and more restaurants and the sights. I would definitely stay here again if i ever find myself in Berat again.

Amazing place, with a unique design and very welcoming hosts. Hotel is very nice and cosy, newly renovated, located in the city centre of Berat, but in a quiet neighbourhood 👌 The food is just excellent, everything is home made and delicious. The host is very hospitable, helpful and polite. One of the place worth to come back!
