When I was returning from morning market near the Rajagopuram, Srirangam, unexpectedly a pleasant surprise, I heard excellent nadhaswaram music, chanting of Vedhas by learned scholars and the bell sound of Srirangam temple elephant carrying holy Cauvery water for "Jyeshtabhishekam" for "Thaayar".. Oh what a dharsan at that early hours.. divine.. You should come to our Srirangam kshetram to have this kind of experience.. 🙏 welcome. 🙏🙂💐

It is one of the biggest temple in India. Most of us visit Ranganathar swamy and few other deities and leave. But I would suggest to take a walk/pradakshanam around all the prakarams to take a look at it's amazing architecture. Gives a true glimpse of our culture.

It is difficult to describe one's experience of this temple as it is different every time you are fortunate to visit. The ornaments of this temple are its seven concentric paths or veedhis.Tiruveedhi or Chitra veedis which is circular and called as North, South , East and West Chitra veedhis. There are houses on both sides and has old as well as new kind of houses. Then we have Trivikraman veedhi or Uthra veedhis which has houses on one side only as we have the temple's compound wall on the otherside.Next is Akalnkan circle which is inside the temple ,then Aalinaadan circle, next is Kulasekaran circle ,Rajamahendran circle and innermost is Dharma Varma circle. We can enter from three entrances, the South tower or Ranga Ranga gopuram, North tower or East tower or vellai gopuram. Ranga Ranga gopuram will take us to the main sanctum or Ranganatha sannidhi which we can reach after crossing Karthigai gopuram and Garuda mandapam and cross Arya Bhattal entrance to join free line on your left or paid line on your right. By taking the North gopuram we can have darsan of Thayar sannidhi Swami Desikan and Mettuazhaghiasingar and Dhanvantri .From eastern or vellai gopuram we can explore Sesharayar mandapam and have darsan of Udaiyavar and Chakrathazhwar and other sannidhis in the vicinity. One should take note of the darsan timings and enjoy every nook and corner of this amazing temple and have a relaxing time.

Wonderful please for worship. Lord Ranganathar is the main God. Needs at least one full day to cover the entire temple.

    * Sri aranganathar temple management is very impactful. * The ambiance of the temple would turn into a peaceful mind. * Every month there will be a function for Renganathar mostly big function in the name of tamil month Chithirai & Thai. * First we have to darshan Thayar then Renganathar. * Main moolavar and utchavar. * Moolavar thiru patham which means legs, to start watching from legs and ends with face. * All 12 azhvargal internal temples are there but first priority would be Udaiyavar ramanujam.
