We went around evening 5. It was their non service time. We had to order what's available on that time. We ended up ordering Schezwan egg rice, parota, chettinadu chicken masala and sweet lime juice. I particularly loved the schezwan egg rice. It was spicy and rice, egg and veggies were cooked well. And Chettinadu chicken masala also good. It was soft and tender. Looking forward to explore their different dishes on next time. 26.10.22 - 2nd time visiting here. Had kal dosa, Schezwan egg rice, Chicken Manchurian, Prawn masala and idiyappam. Everything was good. It was a great dinner. ❤️

Ordered Mutton Briyani, it was just like Pongal form hardly 3 pices of mutton in a Peanut burffy size. Served very small quantity. If done order additional dishes waiters never responded your request.

Must try - Briyani and starters. Especially their suvarotti! One of the best food. Heavy crowd during peak hours. Sometimes parking will be bit of a challenge. Highly recommended for family

Excellente! That's the only word I can think of. We were in Trichy for 2 nights and had dinner here on both nights. The food is finger licking good. You cannot have enough of it. You can get a sense of it when you seee the crowd here. It is almost always full. But dont worry, they have got big dining places inside as well which are not visible from outside. You just need to ask the staff. The staff is very very helpful and will provide you details on every dish and guide you. This is a must go to place to have at least one meal while in Trichy. You need not worry if you are not in Thillai nagar, as these guys have multiple branches in Trichy. You can try the nearest one. I am definitely going there again when I am in Trichy next time! Dishes we tried are as below and all were equally good. Mutton biryani, Veg fried rice, Paneer Chilly, Kothu Paratha, Idli, Fresh fruit juices.

It's a good chettinad restaurant. Seeraga Samba mutton Briyani is delicious and yummy 😋 Nattu kozhi kuzhambu (curry) is tasty but spicy. Restaurant was quite busy and full when we went. Car parking is available and can park around 10-15 cars. Service is prompt and courteous. Prefer this restaurant if you like spicy chettinad style food.

I ate Seeragasamba mutton biriyani taste extraordinary.... soup mushroom cream soup very tasty& tempting ...starters panner Tikka & Fish BBQ its also very tempting.... mutton keema uttappam taste ok but not well...chicken hot &sour soup also taste little soya smell i don't like d taste...Finally Falooda its very tasty...

I ordered the food through phone they accept my order.when I went to restaurant they said no food.I asked them then why you accept my order.They said they didn't receive any information from kitchen.This is my 2nd time same problem. Management should take action for this kind poor responsibility staffs

Having been there on work for two days, I didn’t miss the opportunity of seeking good recommendations for places to eat when at Trichy. “Hotel Kanappa” situated on Thillai Nagar is a locally recommended place wherein I had my first lunch in Trichy; the “non-vegetarian Special Thali Meal” being one of the highly appreciated fares had to be on my menu, “Mutton Liver Curry” was ordered as an add on along with the special “Tutti Fruity” ice cream which left me quite disappointed as it was nothing but a haphazardly constructed sundae, gone wrong in its christening!

This is one of the relatively cheapest yet The Best Non veg hotel in Trichy. We had sumptuous dinner. Yet the bill came around 150 per person only. The food taste was very good amd quantity was right one. Overall had a good experience. Must try option, if u r looking for a good non veg hotel in trichy

Car parking is available. And taste here is really good. One should try bamboo biryani here but they will be having limited quantity only. They cost more for small quantity of items. Good place to enjoy Friday Eve with family. Good atmosphere.

After many positive review i planned to visit there for first time to Kannapa... We went for lunch on Ramzaan.. We went as two planned to buy parcel for other persons since it is festival time as hot outside.. we ordered chicken lollypop, fish finger , mutton biryani.. all tastes good.. after started eating i have ordered for parcel for my home members.. but due to high crowd they refused to take parcel order.. this made my day to go to another restaurant in peak hour and delayed my family's lunch for an hour on holiday... Finally at 3.30 they had lunch... Suggestions: before saying no to dine in customer please think about the struggles for customer point of view. Management need to give priority to dine in customers who is paying full instead of swiggy Zomato who is working for 30% commission.

The taste was mediocre!! The place is well maintained though! RECENT UPDATE went to the place last week utterly disappointed!!!!! The place has become a market…. Over crowded and the AC doesn’t work the staff are least bothered to even inform or do anything about it… after asking repeatedly for more than 5 times they say AC isn’t working…. We would’ve picked a different restaurant if they had told that earlier especially given the season and the stuffiness and the crowd to add on to this misery… The taste was still mediocre and the rates were a bit high for the quantity provided… Briyani was really good in taste though Again in the end terrible parking managing by the security guy who has no idea what to do when there were many cars… I had to get down n manage the traffic… Overall a bad experience

Food was somehow not high class range compared to what they are charging the bill and giving facilities to customers. They will not treat you well you should stand a side long time to get a seat like a dog.very worst treatment you will get from the serving peoples. They don't mind the customer's discomfort. The only money motive is that we should not support this kind of hotel So many hotels are near these hotels which are serving the best food in their respective manner. We need good food no doubt but at the same time we need good treatment and atmosphere also.

Very worst service ever seen in my life… this is spot review… I ordered meals at 3:30 PM and they bring at 4:30 PM. They think, they are only selling delicious food in the world… Their downstairs are waiting ahead forward. The food also not to worth of money..

Best place to visit for non veg

Go here for the Chettinad style food. Really good tasty food. Quantity is good and the prices are ‘high-class’ as they mentioned. We tried the Soup, Mutton Biryani, Nalli Sukka, Liver fry & Kola Undai. All were really tasty served hot. Very good to place for families.

The meal was a delightful journey through authentic South Indian cuisine. Their menu, catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Sometimes you will feel the delay in the service response due the crowd. The handwashing place is very small which can be used for a single person.

We went to this restaurant for lunch. We tried mutton biryani, butter naan and butter chicken. Mutton biriyani tasted good. Butter naan could be little soft and tasty. Butter chicken is very sweet. I don't like butter chicken. Service was very good. They have good parking space.

There was no meat in curry. Then what's the meaning of non-veg meal? All are spicy. Rasam and buttermilk no taste at all.Chicken BBQ not fully cooked . Service is depending upon your dress and appearance. Briyani taste ok but less quantity.

Disappointed with the veg food. Ordered a couple of North Indian veg dishes. Too much sugar added in the gravy. Unfortunately the special chettinad veg curry was also sweet. Don't know why gravies are made sweet.needs improvement

The chicken chetinad was great. crab lollipops are a must try. Mushroom masala was a Lil on the sweeter side. Otherwise their service and food was quick and nice

Nice service with good food taste. We 5 members went there. Heavy rush for parking. Only one security was there, he was very polite and guided as for secured parking. Another guy, looking as a senior in the hotel, taken us and reserved a table for us in less than 5 mts. We ordered many non veg foods, all of them with great taste but with quick serving. Taste was wonderful at the same time with less cost. But the bearer, very cleverly changed our rupee which was given for tips. I changed Rs.500/- he very cleverly given 2*200 + 1*100. Since I don't have any other change, I compulsorily left Rs.100 as tips, this was the one I didn't like.

The ambience was extraordinary compared to the taste and the quantity of the food. And they billed the food which non related to each other. In simple words the foods are not worth for their price.

It is one of best hotels in tamilnadu. After a long time, I had a fantastic meal. I loved it. I went there continuously for three days for lunch. Especially, the non-veg meals is awesome with unlimited rice. Really, hotel Kannappa nailed it. If you visit Trichy, I would highly recommend you to have meal in Hotel Kannappa. I would give 6 stars ******. Super!!!

They serve old chicken in briyani. When I ask, they change chicken only. How can we trust they serve fresh food. I have been having food for the past 4 years at Kannappa. but today is the worst food I had.
