Taste of food is good. It is located on the road side opposite to main Guard gate. It is nice place to have lunch if you are visiting church or rock fort or have come to watch movies in LA cinemas. It is in walkable distance from all of them. Food cost is high. But it is good place to come with family. Chicken 65 Biriyani was tasty and recommended.

Terrible, very costly, food quality is average, we ordered veg meals, and it costs ₹133. You have wait to get seat when at noon and in the evening. It's a small AC hall consisting about 26 or less chairs. I had eaten from various branded veg restaurants. Even they didn't charge this much for quality food. Veg meals includes A chapathi, pappadam(appalam), sambar, rasam, pulikkari, curd, two upperi, and a white thing they call that payasam with rice. They are very interested in taking order and giving bill, but reluctant to give you water and extra sambar. We asked for extra sambar two times , they said yes, but never came. And the comedy is they expect and smile for tip for their displeasing service.

One of the famous Non Vegetarian Restaurant in Rockfort area, always crowded. The ambience is somewhat clumsy and the Parking area is very small. The Biriyani, made with Seeraga Samba Rice was oily and the sides too weren't impressive. The service was quick though but cleanliness needs improvement.

Best Restaurant for lunch in Trichy. The food tastes very good. Located in a prime spot but no prominent parking space. The restaurant will be crowded by 2pm, so plan well if you are planning to go for lunch. The prices are very nominal. The cooking time is 20 minutes. But there is no compromise in quality of the food. I recommend Banana leaf wholeheartedly.

I loved the food but i didn't like the ambience. We ordered butter naan, crab lollipop, butter chicken and chicken dum parotta. Dum parotta was served very late it took almost half an hour but we loved the taste and was worth waiting.

The restaurant doesn't appear good at the entrance but the food quality and taste is very good. The mutton biryani is very spicy and not good for kids. Price of the menu items are okay not too costly. The service was very quick. The management should take care of the exterior finish.

I tried chicken 65 biryani,egg biryani and mutton sukka. Plain biriyani with 2 eggs that was good and authentic seeraga Samba biryani. Dalcha was too good. The chicken 65 pcs was flavorful. Mutton sukka tastes good but unnecessary ingredient is added like capcicum.

The chicken biriyani which I had last Thursday was horrible, and the quantity of chilly prawns were very less only 8-10 small pieces for rupee 120/-, it was my wife suggestions to go there but she too accepted that the taste are not like earlier. Within two day I have visited Tanjore branch ordered shawarma there also I felt bad by choosing banana leaf again. Don't spoil your good brand name by mocking up inexperienced cooks.

Visit on 30 Oct 20 ordered chicken biryani and mutton biryani horrable!!! It was like Tomato rice for filling stomach we can visit but taste BL waste and wast of money .Being a top NV hotels in Trichy they do not check with their cook.

UNBIASED REVIEW....Had great expectation about banana leaf restaurant since my first experience of this brand was in perambalur which was great....And seeing 3500 review for this branch in trichy...Went there... First talk about about food..Taste is good...Price is moderate for the quantity of food...Then why 4/5 is good due to cons... Other criteria do matter...Parking space for bike is around 20 but car parking is only for 2 cars..if not you have to park cars outside only... Security is there to guide for cars...On entry in restaurant,the total space is small ... Could accommodate approx 40 to 50.... Dinning area is bit crampy...And wash basin is small one...order taking guy is looking like a professional but not asking for other orders and service is poor compared to perambalur branch... I didn't try their parotta chicken in banana leaf... Restaurant have to maintain some precautionary steps for COVID but not even mask is seen in employees... I was able to get decent time since it was not crowded otherwise if it's crowded on special days it will be like inside pothys during diwali purchase days... All cons i am enlisting so the corresponding person would see and correct it....Though I may say these cons ...If you need good food with decent price other criteria doesn't matter..Then it's the hotel of your choice.... # Experience can vary from person to person and from time to time..😎

Very unfortunate. Today we have orderedchicken biriyani. The chicken peace and egg were ice cold inside. It is clearly known that they are serving previous days food which was keot in fridge. Very bad

This is the worst restaurant I have been to in Trichy in terms of ambience, food quality, service. 1.The restaurant has a smell and stench which is more so like no ventilation for food smell to pass out. 2.For the price charged, they could consider maintaining the restaurant neatly and clean.There was not even a hand wash liquid. 3.Food ordered: Roti , Hyderabad chicken and chilly chicken gravy.Gravy was immersed in oil and quantity was barely sufficient for two pieces of roti.

Worst food.. Ordered Chicken and mutton biryani. The pieces were very cold and hard. And barbecue ordered was definitely reheated and was not at all edible.. Price was too high for such worthless food. I'd never visit this restaurant again.

Very crowded on Sunday afternoon, you should wait in queue after telling your name to the waiter and he will call you. Mutton biriyani taste was just ok little oily and needs improvement. Mutton chukka was too spicy, oily and salty, so didn't match with biryani. Fish fingers were good. Only four cars parking space available also for around 20 bikes.

This place, it's one of the best in Trichy. Been visiting here since 2008. Although the restaurant hasn't got any developments in terms of interior and all, the taste still remains the same. Reasonable price. Huge crowd. Can accommodate 3 cars and 20 two wheelers in parking. The taste was good. For some foods they didn't add food colors , so we got it as how we cook in home. It took 5 to 10 mins after ordering foods.

Review in short: Worst dine-in restaurant in Trichy. To start of with no staff was wearing masks in this covid period. The place was an absolute mess - I think they don't clean it even for Pongal or Diwali. Everything we ordered came out worse than the previous. The mushroom soup was nothing but chilli powder water with barely any mushroom. We ordered Panneer 65 but what came out was panneer bajji which also was mediocre. We ordered kadai panneer but received Palak panneer. When asked why that was served, the waiter told that it is kadai panneer only but in Green colour, which was obviously an absurd answer. The panneer was overcooked and tasted like rubber. The kulcha we ordered also caused tooth pain as it was chewy and not good. The chilly parotta and idli were just bearable but the chutney and sambar were pathetic. For the first time I was feeling why google maps doesn't have a zero rating option.

Worst place choosed for dinner.. bunch of hair in soup.. soggy chicken 65. Old biriyani fried.. you can choose local street shop instead of this one.. total bill around 500 waste.. there is no option to give negative review..

This is one of the standard hotels in Trichy. We a group of 4 friends went there. I ordered non veg meals, my friends ordered veg meals, fish briyani, kaada briyani. All were good. I was happy with the non veg meals as I can get more rice and the kolambu too. Overall good experience. Worth for money. The servant was not good but the other servant was so good and we liked him.

It's a good restaurant for the both veg and non veg foods. But it is also expensive. Slightly higher price than the normal price. We went as family of 4 members for dinner, and bought noudles, Nan, Parotta, Mushroom and kothu, and egg .... It costs 1000+ Rs. So , be aware about the cost. Mutton Biryani is a must try. It's ambiance and seating comfort also good.

Okay experience, did not have brain fry at 7.15 pm, I had gone specifically to try that. We had butter roti, paneer curry, biriyani and gobi 65. The roti and paneer curry were good. Waiting service was very good.

Never in my life I thought I would do this, because this is one of my favourite restaurant. Whenever I'm in Trichy or Perambalur I used to go for a meal with my family. Today I went alone and ordered chicken biryani ,the taste was ok but the waiter's service and the way he showed his attitude is really bad. After my biriyani came I asked for a jigarthanda, the waiter said they don't have it so I asked what else beverages do you have he didn't even listen to what I said he just walked away. He didn't check on or he didn't check if I required anything I had to pour the water myself(obviously after the first time). I asked if I could charge my phone he said no we don't do that maybe ur policy or whatever I understand that but get this when I asked for the bill and I offered pay via UPI, after paying he kinda pushed his bill folder two to three times kinda asking for tips boy did he really expect me to tip? He did not check on me even for a time improve your service ask your waiter to be customer friendly

Tasty dishes at an affordable price. But the quantity is less. Ordered soups, fish and chicken all the dishes were in awesome taste. They should do something for the oudour. Phenyl smell is not tolerable in the air-conditioned dining area

Went for lunch with family. As it was a weekend restaurent was crowded and had to wait for 15 minutes. Had mutton biriyani, it was nicely cooked and good to eat. Ordered few chicken starters and both are good to taste. Parking was a little concern as we need to park in roads but restaurent securities were there to monitor.
