After having darshan at Srirangam, the family stepped into Madapalli Hotel located close to the temple, for Dinner. We had Dosa, Poori and Potato sabjii, and then Hot milk. Dosa was served with 3 different Chutneys and Sambhar. Dosa and Sambhaar was awesome. Poori was piping hot. Milk was thick and tasty. All the items we ate costed a nominal amount of Rs 240. Food was value for Money. Service was prompt and good. But the hygiene factor needs attention. The hotel offers combos that are pocket friendly to customers.

There is value for money that these hotels need to understand. They are simply too bad in serving . As they always have flow of pilgrims and pilgrims have no option, they are not maintaining quality. Management needs to understand that people come from long distances, and if they serve food with good serenity, they will really remain thankful to you.

Avoidable Option. Inappropriate spice mixture. Dirty Tables and extremely poor maintenance. None of the staff were wearing masks. They did not even posses even one mask. The Supervisor and the person at the Cash Counter were absolutely notorious with their reply to this lack of compliance. In the best interest of your safety Avoid this option.

Simple and cool location for basic veg hotel. Speciality is lunch meal is no garlic and no onion food.

The best vegetarian restaurant I have seen so far. When we went to Srirangam we visited many places in and around Srirangam but came back to Madapalli for food throughout our stay in Srirangam. It is just like home food. The ambience is not so attractive like many big restaurants. It is simple yet best as the quality of the food that speaks. The staff here are also very warm and welcoming. The food varieties are the usual menu in most South Indian restaurants. The quality of food and the reasonable price are very impressive.

This was the worst food we have consumed in our lifetime. Their soup was like cement water. Fried rice and Manchurian was literally not edible. I would have put negative rating if only I had an option in Google.

Wonderful meal. Great taste and rich in nutrients right from Sambar to Plantain curry to Lemon pickle and Buttermilk.

They just like that right royally slid 4 cups of dried up pakoda near each of our plates. We assumed it is part of the meals. While we were about to leave we were shocked to see them asking us pay for the pagodas. We did not want to create ruckus. The manager played innocent saying the servers should have informed but what do they gain from such pathetic tricks. They were trained to do so. They did the same for curd which i understand to an extent. Heck due to severe heat my dad took buttermilk in a glass instead of getting it poured on top of rice. They asked to pay for the buttermilk too later. Not necessary to con through such petty tricks. Terrible way to treat pilgrims.

Please don't visit here with google positive reviews. Not worth the hype. I just had rice, sambar, potato and papad and rest were all over, that too at 2pm. No proper response from staffs as well! Food was below average. Totally disappointed!

They will never take the order and just make you sit for a long time. You will get frustrated and leave after certain point of time. The lady staffs will never consider you as a customer and look only for tips. One of the worst hotel experience I ever faced. Better choose some other hotel if you need a peaceful food to take.

This is the second time we are coming here for breakfast as one can always expect a minimum standard here. We ordered dosa, onion rava dosa and medhu vada and they were excellent. My 11-year also old loved the chutney and Sambhar. The quality, taste, cleanliness, service and cost-effective pricing makes this place one of the better eateries at Srirangam. If you are visiting Srirangam, this is a must try restaurant. We will be going there again. The food was good in taste and the place was neat and clean.But the service was not up to the mark.The cost of one ghee roast is about ₹80.Considering that the price was quiet on the high end.

Excellent food at very nominal price. Food is authentic South indian , prepared in healthy manner and best for all specially kids and elderly people while travelling. We got it delivered at our hotel and service was prompt. Thank you Sree Madapalli!

Not that great food is just okay. Parotta, Poori to be avoided, dosas are okay. Idly and Idiyappam were served cold. We do not have much of options in this area.

The taste of the food has gone. Initially they served authentic brahmin foods with South Indian style of preparation but later the taste got merged with local masalas and cheap vegetables. This is no longer a favorite hotel. The lady staffs are lethargic and they never care about customers.

Best quality of foods both meals, and tiffin. Fast service both in the hotel and door delivery. The charges are normal. Fry idly is very delicious . I expect more tiffin items and also the snacks especially chips items. Round the clock of hotel hours they are serving.

Excellent veg food in and around srirangam. We were fortunate to have BF, lunch and dinner. Very healthy way of prep and was very light. They could cater Gobi Manchurian for my kids in a home made way. Amazing. Highly recommended

A nice place for a quick meal whilst in Srirangam. They serve on a banana leaf which is eco friendly and the staff are very respectful about their customers. They also have certain condiments on sale which are prepared in house. Definitely recommend this place, they are worth every buck you spend

Worst service! Food is delicious. But the women who serve treat you like a beggar! Though Lunch is unlimited, don't expect another scoop of whatever is served. They provide only one serving though they would ask if you want anything but never bring it to the table to serve! Highly disappointed. Went there after reading reviews. Awful experience! Especially the waitresses are very rude if you ask for one more serving. They refuse to come again after first serving. The waitresses would be standing in one corner gossiping even if the tables are full, people are waiting for food! If we have self respect, we would never ever go there! If you want an experience on being a beggar well, be their customer!

I & wife visited for tiffen and coffee. The food is good. Prices modest. The best part we liked is no onion & garlic in any preparation. Ceramic tile Floored, neat and clean. Good Brahmin homely food. I will come whenever I visit Srirangam.

Vegitarian Restaurant at Srirengam , Ambiance is good, good combination of North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese cuisine. Neat and clean place to have food. Near to Srirengam Temple South entrance.

Homemade decent food. Love the attitude of the caterers, they helped with our bulk order and evey dish was really good and tasty , it's certainly one of the best place for temple goers, as the parking in chitra street is convenient

We had a lunch here during our visit, it was good meals with two currys white rice, sambar tomato chutney and papad with rasam, moru, have to pay ₹50 extra for a cup of curd, for meal only its ₹100 , i saw the service is maily done by Ladies only even in the cash counter, we did not get the chance to taste the chakkara Pongal which is part of ₹100 meals bcz it was finished by 2.30, thy have toilet facility inside,

+ Near to Srirangam temple complex - cluttered and dirty areas around tables - staff doesn't have coordination in taking and passing orders - We had to wait more than 30 mins for just two ravva dosa. Neither staff nor management was concerned about the delay - even other customers also had to wait a lot. Staff behaviour is like eat or leave - not recommended to eat here, a road side tiffin stall is better.

Bramins like their food. Not much spicy. Taste was good. Their food will not create any health issues as they are reducing spicy salt etc.

Great Surprise. They serve Jain food without onion and garlic. Dining place is neat and clean. Food is very good and tasty. Nice and quick service with homely hospitality. Appreciate and I wish them all the very best.

Hotel cleanliness average only. Tasty of food, average taste only ,particularly side dishes like (sambar)without even Hot... .. disappointing.Even coffee, milk on limited timings. We received warm hospitality and great service from Sree Madapalli. We had simple south indian fare, for all three meals across two days, and it was very tasty and homely. Loved the place, will be sure to come back here when in Srirangam

Lovely tiffin and meals available in Srirangam. They do deliver takeaways locally for a nominal fee.

Worst ever.. I ordered idly at 6.55pm till 8.30pm we had been waiting for order to be received..but it was not. We called the hotel, the lady who isvin incharge of food delivery informed us that idlis were out of stock.. we were frustrated and she told us she will deliver different items. My parents are diabetic we had been waiting for around 2.5 hours to receive the food. They don't have the courtesy to inform the customers which food is available and which is not. Lady from madapalli were talking very rudely..these kinds of mishaps and unparliamentary activities with madapalli were happening very frequently.
