A great place to have typical non veg dishes. Their briyani is their speciality. Their peri peri BBQ chicken is a must try. Their idiyappam kothu was delicious and karandi omelette too

Really it's not a thalapakatti biriyani. In briyani I can found only 4 prices of mutton, and the taste of the briyani was below average. I've had a briyani in Chennai branches. That all so good, but I can't believe that this thalapakatti is so worst in taste and quantity. And the garlic naan was so hard and rubbery. Disappointed.

Food quality and curry gravy is like home made teast. Very very good resturant for non veg.

The worst service I had faced ever.. It took 30 mins for me to get the parcel in the counter.. I had order at 1.44pm and received at 2.16p m. The food was not at all hot.. It was not fresh.. and the the mutton piece was not good. I got 3 pieces full of only bones.. there were not proper flesh in it.. worthless for the money paid for a mutton briyani.. I should rather change my preference from your Hotel to a good ones like Kannapa.. Pls Don't repeat this..to your customers.. Totally worthless.. Rs.1600/-.

Rate too high bcaz quantity is too low for that price. Just may be 250g of briyani available in the bowl it's price above 250rs. Otherwise the taste is super. Must try everyone

Very bad experience. Hotel is just good for looking doesn't have authentic taste. And more over quantity is very less. Paying 300 rupees and getting in a small pot is very ridicules.

Been to the famous Dindigul Thalappakkatti restaurant and one of the signature dishes, Thalappakkatti Special Mutton biriyani. The biriyani has boneless mutton pieces prepared in their traditional Thalappakkatti style served along with boiled egg, raita and salna. The biriyani was good, with good quality meat and loved the salna served along with it. It's priced at Rs.289 is worth a try.

The food was good but the waiter took a lot of time. A block between a section of one set of sofa to another would have been good but it was an open hall and a lots and lots of houseflies riding all around the hall.

Now a days worst service all Thalappakatti especially Trichy.. They can supply Mutton Biriyani but mutton gravy not available. They focused to sale but not a customer needs.

Taste ok but quantity is very less compared to other biryani restaurants. We need more items in all time. Poratta, noodles also not available in evening 7 pm. Only briyani and rice only ready to eat. Very important bad experience held in the restaurant but I don't want to say now.

Worst food I ever tasted in Thallapakatti. Mutton pieces in briyani are not tender rather it doesn't smells and taste fresh. I was expecting a gravy for mutton briyani but dalcha was provided which doesn't go well with the briyani it made it even more worser. And Kal Kolzhi was not delivered on time. It was half cooked and literally there is no taste in it. We never expected this from a reputed restaurant. Overall, its not worth for a penny. I returned home half stomach. The key highlight, the staff was pleading everyone to provide better rating and feedback during payment. How can you expect a better rating without even serving a proper quality food. It's injustice done against customers. I recommend everyone, not to spend your hard earned money in this place. There are many better dine options available in and around Trichy.

Spacious restaurant.. service also good . Unfortunately whatever food we ordered, they are not cooked fully. We have ordered omlette and mutton cola urundai. Both are not at all cooked fully. We have also ordered parota, but it is also very dry. Totally we got disappointed a lot. Only good thing is that they did not billed for mutton cola urundai and for omlette.

Darshini service is at top level. She definitely deserves a service ambassador award. The food here is superb. Their standard are maintain even though I visit their other outlets. If you do drop by lookout for the service staff Darshini. A definite memorable experience. Their manager also came by and ask for our feedback on the quality of the food. I will highly recommend this outlet.

Taste of their original Mutton Biryani has reduced drastically. Chicken 65 was like fried 3-4 times and was not fresh and hard. Chilly chicken the chicken was not tender which normally a chilly chicken should be. Overall did not enjoy the Food as it was around 3-4 years back. Sorry for this review....

I stopped for lunch during my recent trip.The biriyani was awesome at this particular outlet.The aroma is still lingering in my mouth as I'm writing this review.I have added this to my favourite list of restaurants.The ambience and service was great too.

Firstly, the welcome was kind. We were group of six and one child. There was no high chair for infant. Taste of food was not as I expected, it's not your mistake. But the time to serve us all took a lot where we lost all our interest. Quantity of certain dishes is very less compared to the price charged. Anyways nobody in our group had a satisfactory experience from this restaurant.

I have tried in many Thalappakatti branches, but Trichy is the best!! Excellent service and the taste is comparatively super than other branches.. Ambience was very nice and good parking facility available❤️ If I cross trichy definitely this is my choice in non vegetarian hotels!!

Comparing other hotels price of the briyani and other was too costly ,but taste wise super and speaking about briyani portion wise ok but there is less or may be only small small piece in there ,it feels like we are having empty briyani rather than having mutton briyani

We were travelling from Chennai, and we skipped our breakfast along with a friend of mine after few coffee bites in the morning, We took our lunch break at Dindigul Thalappakatti Restaurent, Trichy. ordered so many items, Egg Burji Egg Kalaki Chicken Black Pepper Fry Egg Biryani Chicken Biryani It all started with a statement, it may take another 15 Minutes to prepare. Oh come on, am from a hotelier fam , I can understand. We put it in a diff way. As we are not taken our Break fast, we are so hungry, Can you suggest some item that can be brought so quick. They said eg items can be brought in another 10 Mins. forget to mention we are the only customers inside the restaurant, after a 15 mins of time, we got curious that it took enuf time. we asked where is the order, they said the kadai is just getting hotter, it will take time. Egg Burji came in the plate as 1/3 of the plate was empty. added the image. ( was coated with added oil). Egg kalaki came was Okayish, it was like cooked egg in oven. (was okayish ) then comes the main course with starters, not even expecting the level of output. They said the Egg Biryani is from Veg biryani only we are adding the Egg. Cbe ,Che, Tiru outlets were so good and better. Chicken inside the biryani was not cooked, Black pepper chicken should be renamed as SOY sauce coated chicken, black pepper was actually missing. then we brought it to the attenders about the same, answer is like its from central kitchen sir. Please refer to the Image. no words uttered left the plates with whatever we bought and left the place. No answers or replacement we gonna get it . Added image to the reference. brands are builts for ages. we trust the brands, But in this scenario, I would like to recomend people not to take any risk as spending a lot for the food under the brand. Please refer to the locals and take somme good food, as it may not spoil your good foood mood. No responsible answers, all were Samalfications only. I cant even understand whether these things may brought to the management for the betterment, I wont be gng again for the same outlet. We came out from the restaurant. There are few better things that may happened for the brand at Coimbatore, Tirupur, Chennai and Dindigul outputs. Trichy outlet shouldn't be visited, Kindly take a reference from the google reviews or local reviews as we already did the mistake of spending a lot for the food we order but not taken. I am from a hotelier fam and I can understand the pain of a customer.

I recently had the opportunity to try the biryani at Thalappakatti and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The biryani was full of flavor and the spices were perfectly balanced. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, and the rice was fluffy and fragrant. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation of the dish. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious biryani. satisfied with my meal.

Very very worst tast filly oil only all the food

Worst ever mutton biriyani ever in trichy. Pls dont get fooled by the brand and buy . Only full of oil . Totally waste of money. For 430 rupees we can have two meals a day instead of this stupid waste biriyani from this shop .Even if i eat in dining i dont find much difference! Only on weekends Saturdays and Sundays when the crowd is fine they are making some reasonable hot biriyani rest of the time they are just fooling us with the name. Totally disappointed with this trichy outlet!

I had a chance to have lunch in trichy thalapakatti outlet while coming from chennai, i had a bitter experience with the kind of food delivered there, simply not upto what offered in other outlets lets say chennai, the taste was not that great just seems like a normal shop biriyani not like thalapakatti's signature. Also the quantity is literally very less compared to what we pay for it. we have order sweet lime juice that too comes without sugar 🤷🏻‍♂️. Don't know whether the management knows about this kind of experience provided from that shop. I have edited this message as the bearer wants to give good reviews and she asked to post it from there before billing. service is good no issues but the quality is not upto the thalapakatti's signature.

NOT A GOOD RESTAURANT. We went on Friday night. Parking available only for two cars, if not available you have to park somewhere on the roadside. I had mine parked some streets away from the restaurant and walked to restaurant. Most of the menu printed is not available, as we went on Friday. The chicken soup they gave is not a soup, it is chicken kurma that is added with more water. For the Stick fried chicken, they did not even provided sause and when we asked for sause, they prepared something, which was a mixture of garlic with some thick paste. The biryani,bit is definitely not prepared fresh, it must be prepared either in the morning or the previous day. The food reached out table, after 30 minutes, eventhough there were only 4 other eaters. The person who took our order was never seen again after taking order once. Goto this restaurant only on Weekend and its like a gamble, getting a fresh food.

We Visited today late around 9.45 PM.Very Good ambience , parking available . Food Taste was good. Staff were also good and polite.

Briyani is very poor taste, not as much expected, they doesn't have even prawn crab fish also.. they have only chkn variety, raita also not good

Very good hotel for Non-vegetarian likes peoples. Mutton balls are very tasty and delicious. Mutton Biriyani and Onion raitha are very good combinations. Chicken chettinaad is so spicy with tasty. Fish finger are too tasty.

We seemed to b in bad luck the one time we dined at this particular thalapakatti.. whatever item we asked was not available that day even though it was on their menu and we had gone during early lunch hours.. meatball biryani was just empty biryani with 4 meatballs though both wer yumm its not how they serve usually.. the chicken soup was delicious.. the waitress was very patient and polite .. the ambience was cool though power went off and ac didnt come back on despite the back up lights working.. thalapakatti fans better go for the salai road/karur byepass bridge branch

Yes we had lunch there at 2.30 pm no seat were there we waited for more than 20 minutes after we got seat and ordered mutton and chicken biriyani and chicken 65 food was good more spices in the food but quantity is not good.we should order two biriyani per head otherwise it is enough for lunch any way we enjoyed good traditional food restaurant.

Is this the real Dindigul Thalappakatty or some local shop faking the brand name? The worst ever food, the street side shop would have been better than this. We ordered Parotta and said the regular gravy is not available and that we have to order special gravy. Also, the regular dalsa was not there for biriyani. The parotta was old stock and was very rough and some last minute adjusted Chilli water was given as gravy. We highlighted the issue to the staffs and they took no care about it. Worst food with worst service. I would recommend definitely not to come to this hotel if you want to have a real biriyani experience.

Overpriced, very low quantity, low taste. Just 2 small cubes of mutton for a single serve of a mutton biryani which cost nearly rs.190 with gst. 2 pieces of mutton cant justify a biryani. Even the taste is not good as it does nt give out the aroma of biryani at all. Entire quantity can be taken in single hand and it's that tiny. The attached image is the quantity that they give. Other items like bbq, 65 were quite reasonable.

Very worst experience, this is the second time I'm facing this problem in this branch. They don't have anything in mutton and in fish variety. Also there is no grill and BBQ was available. If you don't have anything then you do you have it in your menu card. Very much disappointed. And also try to serve food with good vessels, we are paying so much not see the cheap bowl which you are serving

One of the yummiest briyanis i have ever had. Everything they served us was delicious specially chilli fish and crispy fried fish. But most of the items in the menu were not available which was really disappointing. Hope that doesn't happen the next time we visit thalappakatti.

As a customer I'm sure the should cut the light make it as little dark place it don't look restaurant too much light and AC I don't think so it's inoff, food it's alright I got chicken rasam rasam + boiled chicken, chicken fry don't have salt, briyani it's not inoff for 2 people, I think banana leaf I would go next time

Recently I had lunch here food was ok but the air freshener was too heavy and can't able to smell the briyani. I had chicken briyani and Gun fire kitchen ( it's has to be cook little more ).

Service as well as the price is not fulfilling the quality towards their prices. The servers are saving the basic needed dishes like kuruma, raitha & etc by not serving them properly in order to make us to buy paid dishes ( may be because of their methodology of business, in my point of view)

The outlook of the restaurant was nice and clean. The service of the restaurant was also good. Most of the waiters are ladies, feels good in a view of women empowerment. We ordered Biriyani and Some Chicken Starter both was delicious.Little bit crowded olace.

The service was very poor as the briyani. Chicken briyani had only 1 piece which was very small for name sake and mutton biryani had 2 pieces only. Have been asking for thalicha for around 15 mins, but none respond. Briyani taste was average. Poor service and not a value for money.
