Raoji is a must visit spot for all biriyani lovers. This hotel is famous for biriyani. One of the smallest and oldest shop located in trichy big bazaar busy streets. This place can accommodate fifteen to twenty at a time. There is no separate car parking space here so plan to park near by roads 300feet away from hotel and come by walk. Sharply 12 in noon biriyani enters the shop and with in five minutes parcels and orders starts. Limited dishes like chicken chops and mutton fry are available. We had ten parcel in quater plate mutton biriyani for 1200 rupees. Taste and quantity was good. Two plates biriyani with some side dish is enough for single person. Thanks to owner of the shop for maintaining same quality till now. All the very best for your growth.

Best for take away. Very good taste, very less quantity, quarter mutton is 120 rupees. You will need 3 for 2 persons. Note : you must stand in Q to buy. The q will be very very long sometimes

Very ordinary briyani, not worth the hype , neither in terms of taste, quantity and price. They charge Rs.120 for a quarter plate briyani , they measure this in a small serving cup, typically the cup used to serve sambhar in hotel..probably this briyani wud weigh around 150-175 grams maximum. The prasadam served in temples probably would be more than Raojis briyani.Next in taste, I found it very ordinary nothing good or great to talk about..This place and surrounding areas don't have hotels near by and may be that could be a reason why people still buy from here. Our home made briyani is much much better than Raoji briyani. I am not going to visit this place ever again.

The two stars are for whatever flavour carried by the biryani.. otherwise the restaurant as a whole is way below average.. went for dinner by around 9.45.. was served the biriyani cooked for lunch.. the parottas served were prepared by 7 - 7.30 pm, which is evident from the pic.. the gravy served is pretty average with the biryani, bad with parotta and worse with idly.. After coming out, i was telling my wife that even raw small onion crushed with red chillies and salt will taste good.. that's the magic of idly.. and they seem to score way worse than that.. such is the restaurant.. still surprised by the hyper reviews..

Overrated. Total disappointment. I was very eager to try the Biriyani after watching a hyped video. No unique taste in Biriyani. Mutton pieces was also not that tasty. Biriyani was too spicy.

I'm having a doubt weather they are Blanding both mutton and beef together 3:1 ratio. I'm sure it's not a pure goat meat while eating I had bad experience... The staff behaviour is also not upto the mark....

Biriyani and mutton chops were super great.. delicious and tasty... But the service was literally poor.. no body is asking for anything..not even looking at customers.. including the owner or the man standing in cash counter.. despite great tasty food their approach in customer is poor.. Though they have constraints in space they shd give quality customer sevice to improve the business to next Level.

Tasty food at lower price with good quantity. Now it has been renovated but not suitable for families. Dine-in capacity is 8 only. Take away is better. Able to park bike alone and its located on Gandhi market to Malaikotai road and its a one way. Better go here in a bike.

Over hyped reviews. While traveling from Chennai to Madurai stopped here for lunch based on reviews. After having food just felt nothing extraordinary here. Just average taste. Brain fry taste good, but it was too hot.

One of the best briyani in the Trichy market area. The quality of the biriyani is top notch but the quantity is very less even for normal eaters. As a biriyani lower you need to buy at least 3 portions. The price is a bit costly but if you are addicted to their taste you won't bother much.

The Perfect Seeraga Samba Biryani You Need To wait for dining in ,since hotel space is tiny ,better to get parcels on afternoon. 1/4 plate Mutton Biriyani 120 INR

Biriyani tastes good, kept my expectations low since many food bloggers rated it high. Because of that the biriyani tasted good to me. Mutton chops were an overrated dish. Not up to the mark. But hours of waiting time. Be prepared for that. We went on Sunday and had to wait an hour to get the biriyani parcel. Not sure about the weekdays. Literally no parking facility as it's a very small famous outlet in that heart of market street

High cost, Tasty and quality food, less quantity (briyani for 120rs), very small place to sit, bad environment outside the restaurant, no mineral water provided for food, chicken broth (chicken kulambu) for parotta was sour in taste and parotta was like a rubber, no online payment like gpay accepted only cash is accepted, parking is difficult even for bike.

It’s really not worth the hype created by Youtubers. They gave very small quantity of briyani for 120/-. Its really not worth it. Mutton pieces are cooked well but the briyani is blunt without any taste. U feel more of ghee and oil smell rather than briyani smell. And also ordered Chicken fry which they fry in Gingelly Oil which I dont like very much. The smell of gingelly oil is more and it spoils the taste of Chicken fry. For the hype created we can try this briyani for one time but not regular visiting place. And also the dining space is very small wer only 10 peoples can be accommodated at a time and there wont be comfortable seating also. So if u look for comfortable seating for lunch then better prefer takeaway and that is highly recommendable.

While the ambience may not be ideal, the true essence of a biryani shop lies in the taste of its offerings. If the biryani is flavorsome, well-cooked, and meets your expectations, it might compensate for a less-than-ideal ambience. Consider the quality of service, hygiene, and of course, the biryani itself when evaluating your experience. It's the interplay of these factors that determines the overall satisfaction with a biryani shop, even if the ambience is lacking.

One of the best mutton biriyani I tried in recent times. The biriyani was 120rs worth every penny. For this amount they were able to provide 4-5 pieces of good quality tender mutton along with decent raitha and thalicha. The shop was small to accommodate for bigger crowd however, I found the service person's and owner's heart was overwhelmingly big.

After seeing lots of videos in YouTube we opted for This restaurant for lunch but the quality and taste never disappointed us. The taste was top notch but the dine in experience and ambiance was pathetic.

Pls don't create hype to this small room. After seeing lot of comments, i have tried this hotel, sorry guys it's not a hotel it's a small room. Only 10 to 12 people can have food at a time. No ambience at all. They will give priority and good amount of quantity with rice and meat only for regular customers. Because In our case we faced this after one hour of struggling we got set but we had only less amount of meat which was not at all worth for the money. We pay for our food, that should be satisfied, but it's a question over to this hotel. Outsiders are not advised to dine in but you can try it by getting parcel. Quality wise meat was not cooked properly, only good thing is sides, one can prefer side dish. Overall it's a worst experience we had as a family there. Note if you have child please ignore this place.

Average taste and very less quantity. But, the mutton pieces offered in a quarter biryani justifies the price. Can try once. Timing: 1pm to 8 pm. Peak hours: 1 to 3.30 pm.

We came to know about the shop by seeing YouTube channel n went to try there. We reached by 1.50pm because of Sunday there was a huge crowd . We waited upto 2.20pm. We ordered mutton biriyani worth of waiting . What an outstanding taste of biriyani. We also tried mutton chops n kolambu kalakki all the dishes are outstanding in taste. The highlight thing we can't able to find a bone in meat . All the mutton items served boneless that's their highlight. Simply loved it. NOTE : FOR ONE PERSON YOU CAN TRY 1/2 PORTION OF BIRIYANI. 1/4 PORTION WILL BE SMALL IN SIZE

Taste wise too good but too costly. They charge 120 rs for quarter briyani. As a normal person they require 2 quarter briyani to fill the stomach.
