We stayed for one night at the hotel. Primary reason for choosing this hotel was its proximity to the airport. We had 4 rooms for 8 adults and 2 kids. They charged 4500 for double occupancy and 1000+tax for extra bed. I believe the rates are high given the rooms are old and in need of renovation. The food was very good. We had lunch, dinner and complimentary breakfast at the hotel. Not all the items in the breakfast was not ready by 7am and we had to leave by 7:30. But every dish we had here was good so a big thumbs up for the food. The location is ok if you have a flight to catch. Otherwise it is in a part of town on either side of the hotel are govt offices and quarters so not much to do. Srirangam temple is about 40 minutes by cab.

Receptionist has given us early check-in before 1hour of actual check-in time considering child that we had brought along.Extra Beds were not given though we booked for 3 guests. We were made to followup multiple times with receptionist to get it done. Room service and in-house catering was excellent. Milk was readily available anytime. We ordered vegetarian lunch from hotel and it was good.Overall it is good place to stay.

This is a decent hotel that has most of the modern amenities. It has spacious parking, a 24-hour coffee shop, a bar, and a swimming pool. Rooms at this place are just okay, and service is slow. Persons manning the reception are not courteous, and may be described as disoriented. Accessibility score: three on five. Most portions of this hotel are accessible with wheel chairs. Persons with blindness can visit this place with a companion, And navigate through it comfortably.

Rooms should have been maintained well. Staffs are good and supportive but there are no proper guidelines for them. Front office ladies are simply standing and no idea what are they doing. Food is good and tasty. Housekeeping service is good. Parking is available. Lot of improvement required to say 3 star or 4 star hotel. The place is very calm and no sounds and you can have nice walking in the morning time. Surrounded area are very good.

A very good hotel maintaining its standard for decades. Went to swimming pool before years and recently went to a marriage, excited to see the same standard and hospitality being maintained till now. The marriage hall was very good,food served was delicious. The lobby front desk was extraordinary. Hotel has a very large parking area covered by lush green gardens. The rooms were also pretty good and spacious. Overall recommended for a marriage event and also for stay.

Hotel location is accessible since it's very close to the city and highway. Rooms are spacious, but It's high time to go for renovation. Food is average and no of items are also very less. Is there an option to rate zero? Literally, one of the worst dining experiences. Never have I come across such discourteous staff at a premium hotel. Let me give an example: We went as 3 people, and were directed to a seating, except there was only seating space for 2, and we had to wait and follow-up twice to get seating for the third person. While we really wanted to leave abruptly, we decided against it, and ended up ordering. Each item took forever to arrive. Heck, even the water bottle (priced at Rs 80/l, yes you read that right) took forever. And the food was middling, and not what we would expect given the premium. I really regret visiting this restaurant with great anticipation, and would rather starve than have a meal here. I am not surprised at the reviews mentioning the staff behaviour as unwelcoming.

Too expensive for the way hotel is managed. Rooms are so mediocre, Plug points did not work, There was no hot water in the bath, for every room service , they take more than 40 mins to deliver . Everytime there was a issue we had to follow up at least twice with the room service or the reception to come and resolve. For the amount they charge , it was definitely not a great place to be . Breakfast was complimentary with no fancy menu, but the right menu , also quality of food was good.

We have been staying in this hotel every time we visited Trichy for so many years. The last 2 times our stay was very disappointing. The quality of the rooms, cleanliness, linens, towels are not great quality. I am waiting to see the same standards as it was before covid because I like the place so much.

Building gives an old look. Initial hiccups in finding the room number. However, Hotel is Neatly maintained. Car service requires improvement. The slope infront of the restaurant poses threat to older persons and ladies carrying children. Initial enthusiasm of the reception and service personnel vanished while check out. Meaning they are very warmth and helpful when we checked in; but the same is not felt while checking out.

I really enjoyed my entire stay at the hotel. I stayed there with my friends for three days . I was on vacation and we all decided to stay at this hotel. It was a very clean place for a comfortable stay . Here you will get the clean rooms along with the swimming pool to enjoy . The staff was very polite and well behaved with the guests . The ambience was very good.

The rooms were large and well maintained. I have visited this hotel often and happy to report that the rooms have improved over time. The property looked better than my previous visits. The restaurant continues to be mediocre. The food is above average but the sitting is not. The place appears dark and dingy and old. The absence of windows does not do any justice to the restaurant. But all in all, no concerns. I would recommend the hotel.

Very large and spacious entrance and lobby, but I was disappointed by the size of the rooms. The bathroom was larger than usual though. I thought it didn't make sense. The reception desk staff need to be proactive with guests needs as I found them a little lax in their duties. Must thank the kitchen staff for putting together fruits and sandwiches as we were travelling early in the morning and couldn't have the complimentary buffet breakfast

The hotel is located very close from the airport. The rooms are very good. The staff is very supportive. However, there are no good restaurants in the vicinity nearby. It is difficult for people from other states and pure vegetarians to find good food options.

Never seen 3star like this. 1) Rooms are not clean. They should see the other hotels and learn what is cleanliness. There was few cockroaches and mosquitoes in the room. Bed spread was not clean. 2) They charged rs.90 for 1 litre Aquafina water bottle. 3) Poor customer friendly.

I am a global traveler and have high expectations when it comes to hotels. During this trip, prior to visiting Trichy, I was in Bangalore at the Royal Orchid Central and was at The Park in Chennai. Both those hotels disappointed me quite a bit and I felt that I wasted my money there. So, my stereo type kicked in and I told myself that I can't expect anything special at a hotel in a tier II city (Trichy) after those poor experiences in Bangalore and Chennai. SRM hotels proved me wrong and took me by surprise. The rooms were awesome, restaurants are excellent, staff are very friendly and the amenities are great, hotel arranged transportation was very convenient. The location is super convenient from the airport and all the places I had to visit were also just 20 or 30 mins ride away. And, all of this was at a very decent price, almost half of how much I paid in the above mentioned two hotels. From now on, everytime I visit Trichy, without a doubt it will be at this hotel for sure. The only minor issue was that A/c was not very effective, it was OK...although it was functional. I am sure that if I had told them they would addressed it as well. Keep up the great work SRM hotels.

The rooks are very spacious. We stayed in the villas. They are absolute value for money. The bathrooms are also very big. The breakfast spread is very good. Lots of delicious items served with a lot of affection. Overall staff very polite and always helpful. Even at midnight people will come to assist. We are delighted to stay here.

Do not prefer if you have options. The service is the worst. Well as answered - 1. Please upgrade your lobby area. It needs to be better and requires decent cooling. 2. Please deploy people who inform your policies, rules & regulations properly to the point. As a marketing gimmick, you loose credibility. 3. And the way you treated your guests during visit, it was never expected; and it's a promise - shall not book for any of our guests to your property.

I had never heard about the SRM Hotel. One of my colleagues, on our official visit, booked us here. This is one the best hotels you can stay in. It is located very close to the airport, slightly away from the city and traffic, has a green campus, good place for morning walks and a silent environment. Once you come back from your day's work or travel, the silence is something that you will appreciate. Good rooms and good food. Next time I am coming to Trichy, I am definitely staying here again.

Nice and peaceful place to stay. Since it is an older building, it won't attract people so easily. But, good services and food is also tasty.

Good Hotel. Its a first time to stay. Enjoyed. Big rooms with spacious of two extra beds placing. Good taste of food and varieties. Swimming pool water is not clear and neat. So we didn't enter. There was a Carom board but no coins to play. There was a Table tennis board but the bats are not good to play. Other than this all other things are good.

My colleagues had experiences of ghost or some negative energy. But I didn't felt any 😀 Rooms are cozy but the beds are not. Food menu is repeated but breakfast is worth of a typical south indian breakfast. Staffs are good. Location is so greenery. Accesibilty is little difficult.

The charge on weekday in this place is very high. However with the price of 4.5k per day the standards are low and the window view was plain terrace. The room had few cob web. the Food is too costly with 2 dosa, 1 cheese sandwich, finger fries is 1000 and the taste was not great as well. Overall its overpriced hotel with very basic standards

Very calm and secluded place. Yet pretty close to the main town nearby. Most recommended for those who want quick access from the Trichy airport. Staff is courteous, and the place is clean. The place has an old charm about it too. If you like spicy food or otherwise, make sure to tell the waiter about it, they are very accommodating to guests' requests.

We had to ask for another room because the bathroom in the first room given to us was not clean. In this day and age, there’s no excuse. You run a hotel which is marketed as upmarket then your bathrooms have to be gleaming.

The hotel charges a bomb for a hanger that couldn't hold a Brand new trouser and the hanger feel right into the toilet closet and ruined my 25000 rupee lower half dress. Such a low downscale place for the Prince they charge. Not so well maintained. Not a good swimming pool. Not a well maintained entrance. One more worst thing is the hall that we booked for the event had freezing AC but that too was uncontrollable which made ppl above 60 feel dangerously cold. Some even left mid way due to this.

Good hospitality by the staff. Enjoyed going out there as very quiet place to have food and quality time with family. Staff wear mask and follow rules. I would recommend as a safe place to visit during this covid time. Not very expensive.

I have stayed here in the month of Nov'21 and the stay has been for almost 5 days. It's almost like coming home. The staff is extremely welcoming and rooms are really nice, the villas are even better, the food is also great, the view also great and the best part, its a 5 minute drive from the airport. It's really amazing how well the staff treats you. I am now moving to trichy for work reasons, and the staff went out of their way to help me with the process. I really appreciate all the work they do, and all that with a smile. These words are not enough to express my gratitude. Thank you so much guys. Keep up the great work! It's not a hotel for general public. They bother on the flight crew of various airlines who stay there... so better to avoid..

Pathetic hotel and very poor guest behaviour for corporate and bulk bookings. Not worth of money. Room service staff are unprofessional and casual attitude with no sense of managing buffet. Very slow house keeping /checkin/and room service. Food quality is poor not at all tasty. Rooms are very dirty with bed bugs / stained toilets/ AC issues/ wifi issues/ not suggested for long stay at all . Worst part even after complaining they don’t correct there behaviour and standards. Property is very big but no facilities and very far from city and nothing around to have transportation to roam around and visit city at any time . U need to book rented car or stay back in their depressive hotel. They don’t match the standards of aviation people and big airlines like Indigo and AirIndia had always complained regarding there service. Staff are very old recruited at room service who are stubborn not interested to upgrade their knowledge and behaviour. Reception has there own attitude. House keeping staff always body stinks.gym hygiene is not maintained. If my company wud have not booked in this hotel then I wud have preferred to stay Vivid hotel which is in the town and service is 10 x better then SRM . They r only good for temporary one night events and if any company is looking for bulk bookings please don’t waste ur money even if they offer heavy discounts as it’s this hotel except the exterior look nothing is worth

Review is for the restaurant- It's a decent place overall for a family dinner. What's good- 1) Not so much crowded 2) Decent parking 3) Variety of food options 4) Chicken Starters were good What's bad- 1) Staff reception guy has -"i don't carry" attitude for someone who is visiting restuarant. 2) Restuarant manager - Doens't understand the ask, just keeps talking.

Hotel was perhaps the best in Trichy removing a star because it is a little outside the city so don't stay unless you have your own car.

Not the best hotel where you would like to stay but the only hotel available in trichi close to the airport. Hotel is decent with decent service. Staff is polite but the only and the biggest problem for travellers is the language barrier. If you don't speak Tamil then it will be very difficult to communicate with hotel staff as most of the people doesn't understand English. Couple of people sitting at reception know to speak and understand English but most of the time they misunderstand nad biggest problem is that, they will understand what they want to understand and without clarifying with you they will simply do what they think they understood without applying common sense. Nice hotel to stay with family . Safetywise perfect. Good quality rooms. Fastest room service and house keeping action upon request. Only bad thing is lowest speed inconsistent internet connection and delayed service in restaurant. Asked to provide soft copy bills but Receptionist didn't respond properly and till now no response

They said it is the best hotel in Trichy however the room only prepares the basic necessity for guests. No iron or hair dryer in the room so you can request from the reception to send the items to your room. All staff are nice and attentive as well. This hotel would be more suitable for a business event or small wedding event.

We had a lovely family stay at SRM hotel for 4 nights. We booked deluxe villa 6. It was spacious with a separate hall and bedroom was very huge with good ventilation. It was very peaceful and the villa was surrounded with lot of trees. Food was also delicious. Breakfast and dinner was prepared fresh. On time service. Airport drop and pickup was also very easily arranged. Highly recommend for family stay. Best is to take villa kids can play outside the villa and also use swimming pool

Great location just a few minutes from the busy areas of Trichy. Very quiet neighborhood with loads of parking. We got a free upgrade to cottages. The cottages were very spacious and the bathrooms adequate. Service was excellent. The restaurant was quite good too.

I stayed here seeing that it has a fitness center and a pool. Unfortunately, the pool timing is only from 8am to 5pm, with more than a couple of hours of lunch break. Probably its more for staff or for local use. Rooms are very spacious and great food, if u have the patience to wait and wait for it to arrive. Mr Krishnan from reservation was very helpful indeed, right from making reservations and arranging for all requirements, most importantly, listening to all the pain points. He was the main reason for actually staying there.

Good place and excellent location near the airport.. but room quality has leaves much to be desired for. Bathroom needs major uplift and so does the mattress all are jow showing age. Morning buffet is decent nothing to talk home about. Staff are good, humble and approachable and eager to help

Easily one of the best hotels in Trichy, well maintained and in a nice locality. Good rooms, excellent service and very good food. The staff is very polite and happy to help us with anything. I left my sunglasses inside the room when I checked out, but they couriered it to my home safely.

Hotel is good, rooms are spacious but bit old construction. Location is also good with respect to pure air as it is away from main city and very close to airport but there is nothing nearby it. Breakfast is good but there are same options everyday no change. Food quality, quantity in room service is good and price is also very reasonable. TV size in room is very small in comparison to room size. Swimming pool water was not much clean and also water circulation was not running, other pool is good with good depth with pool for children connecting to main pool.

Terrible staff. Made me to prepay 8,000 and the room was pathetic. We walked out of the hotel within 3 mins. Lost the payment fully. DO NOT PAY WITHOUT SEEING THE ROOM! No security at Villa rooms and it is risky to stay with kids and family. It is not even close to 2 star experience. Surprised they claim it’s 4 star!! It’s worth zero star! Not recommended for family and kids!

The property is in a prime location in Trichy (close to the airport, Railway station, and bus stand) but in a calm and nice landscape. Room service support is good (even the watchman service). I have opted for the Business classroom (twin double bed) for my family (wife and son along with me). The room was ok but not worth the amount paid. Room fresheners are not good. Poor drainage in the washroom. All throughout humming sounds of some machines (AC or exhaust) not making stay calm and pleasant. This need to be improved.

Very nice hotel. Staff is extremely helpful. I booked taxi through them, very helpful. For our family with 2 small kids it was a good experience. I had some issues with restaurant and services, I did convey my displeasure. Instead of ignoring they all worked hard to fix things and they did. Highly recommended . Very nice staff.
