Room was very neat and tidy... well maintained...Breakfast and Dinner was delicious and the hotel is in the main area easily accessible to various locations. Staffs were very kind... More over there is a car parking, which is mostly not available in other hotels. This was a memorable stay for our family and my child loved the way breakfast was served with north indian dishes and Juices....

Rooms are very big. Had a pleasant stay. Room is very clean. Have many cupboards for keeping things. Car parking is available. But first come basis. They can max provide 1 hr extra time for check out based on request. Children play are is available in the top floor. Overall nice experience.

Very spacious rooms and very clean . Courteous staff and very helpful . Only negative is the food from the restaurant which we felt is best to be avoided morning buffet was somehow okay but later we ordered a sandwich and cold coffee too much sugary and sandwich had nothing except 2 pieces of tomato and cucumber for the price theyr charging it can be much more better . But apart this we did Happy to stay

I had a wonderful stay at the Rock Fort Hotel. The rooms were spacious, well kept and clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and spotless. The staff were very kind and attentive. They dealt with all my requests immediately and made me feel welcome. The food was delicious and varied. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a lot of options, from traditional Sri Lankan dishes to continental cuisine. The dinner was also amazing, especially the seafood curry and the rice and roti. The service was excellent and prompt. The staff were always ready to help and provide anything I needed. The location was perfect, just a few steps away from the beautiful Dalawella Beach. The beach was clean and quiet, with soft sand and clear water. I loved watching the sunset and the turtles on the beach. The hotel also offered some activities and tours, such as yoga, surfing, whale watching, etc. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

It is value for money. The staff are well behaved and the roof top restaurant having direct view of Ucchi Pillayar temple is great view in night. Their breakfast is a well laid out platter.

The property is mentioned as 3 star and we booked based on that. The room assigned to us towards to the highway and there is no option to stop the noise from outside. Its like staying on road side. Unless the room is properly done with acoustics, you cannot stay in that rooms. Food is ok.

Good place for staying. Rooms are well maintained and family friendly atmosphere. I booked the hotel via Agoda. So they were issues like breakfast not included and discrepancy in check out time etc. Hotel didn't charge us anything additional. But please be mindful if you booking via apps.

THE HOTEL ITSELF SAYS THE NAME of the location but the hotel management not providing the rooms to view the Fort provided only the road face which makes the rooms very noisy in the night hours. Extra bed they charged Rs 670. If u need good sleep better ask for the rooms facing other side which u can see the Fort or else avoid this hotel stay. Roof top restaurant view is good. Bar is located in downstairs and they are serving only tamilnadu breweries ☠️. U can't find any international brands. Underground parking is good and drivers restrooms are available at free of cost.

Located below the bridge. Rooms and facilities are good. They are making even basic water as business. They won't respect you if you ask for jug water. No feedback was asked during checkout as well. Since we asked for jug water instead of canned water, the service person asked us to order than and coffee after asking rate of it. Thinking that we are not able to afford it. Hence 3 stars

Hotel is an old property. That being the case you can expect problems associated with that. Another thing thing is this hotel is under a flyover, so it is easy to miss when you drive along. But these are not deal breakers. The rooms are very spacious and you will get a few of the Rock fort temple from the balcony. But the bathrooms require upgradation. Staff are very courteous. They have a rooftop restaurant. Morning breakfast spread was decent with a mix of South Indian and a few continental dishes. Facility has ample parking phase in the basement and they can also a account 5 to 6 cars in front of the hotel.

The hotel is really good and is located between two great temple's. The rooms are really spacious and easily 5 people can accommodate in one room. A nice place to stay for all type of traveller's. The space of the room and the location.

Went there to enquire marriage hall, i would say its best in price, they charging 7000 rupees for hall rent which includes EB, Cleaning. This hotel located near to Cauvery river and marriage hall located in terrace where they have roof top restaurant as well, you can see the view of the rockfort temple from the marriage hall is marvelous. Only drop back is they charging 350+GST per leaf (lunch-veg) which seems to be very high price. If they consider to reduce further more then definitely people give more response.

My name is dhanush from Malaysia was stayed in hotel Rockfort view from 30th Dec 2022 to 3rd Jan 2023 in room no 210. The service really very bad because I was asked for to open locker box to keep my valuables thing for security reasons. Till I check out nobody come and open the locker box, even I asked reception, room boy and housekeeper so many times but nobody help me. I asked to meet Manager to complaint about this but they repulse with excuses. Please remember your salary given by the guests who was staying in hotel so please respect them with their needs. We are paying for the room and not staying for free, remember that. The staffs was not helpful and irresponsible.

Nice dinner menu.Some of the items are not available. Children are happy for their play area in the roof top restaurant. The view was wonderful from the top. Overall a nice experience.

Rooms were neat, well maintained. The morning Breakfast was tasty and delicious. We had nice time during dinner time in roof top restaurant. Only issue was with the locking mechanism of door in room. It had a small latch which keeps stuck. Distance to rockfort is very less. Better go by walk to Rockfort. Because we took our car and the parking was quite hard to find. Will definitely take next time if travelling to trichy.

Yes it's excellent. Booked in advance. Room was facing Rock Fort. Was very well made up with all guest's necessities. Very well behaved staff in every department. Vegetarian food was very sumptuous. Thanks Rock Fort View for making our stay memorable.

We booked roof top for function and we already told them to serve starters before... But they said they will serve it with dinner. Also shortage of food at the starting of the buffet. Very bad experience for us because the food staff. Never give full money in advance to this restaurant. Other than that location is very good and function hall is okay..

This is located under the bridge, and you have to go get down the flyover and then make a long U turn to get jntorhis hotel or through a short oneside way. Location is a disadvantage for this hotel. As the name suggests, you can see Rockfort temple from a distance. That's it. Service is good. Rooms are ok. But rooms are not soundproof. Can hear vehicle noises and lift noises during nighttime. Restaurant food was ok. When you book through an app, they charge for grace hour's. If it is direct booking, they allow some grace time. Got a basement parking,which can accommodate a few cars and some bikes.

Location is good and service also okay. View is also good. Rooms are bad. Bed is very bad. No hot water at all even after complaining the hot water was not provided. You only get warm water if you are lucky by any chance Washrooms are very slippy Complementary item is water bottle and flies.

Went here for dinner yesterday. Parking made in front of two cars as said by security. I informed the security we r going for dinner one hour it may take. if u need we will be in hotel roof top inform us. While coming back. Two families tries to hit me. It was fault on security. But security made as though its my fault. And to the family who is if seeing this. Try to get cctv and see what happened. I am waiting and I will have my revenge. As u don't know whose fault is on. Worst hotel management.

Hotel location very near to heavy highway. Noisy. I ate breakfast. Food nice. Tea coffee also nice. Rooms triple occupancy, spacious and bathroom quite small.

Expectation: star hotel Reality : Normal above average hotel It is located on the banks of holy River Kaveri. From rooftop you can view trichy important landmarks such as rockfort pillaiyar temple,our lady of Lourdes church,River Kaveri,Srirangam temple. Rooftop restaurant foods are tasty and met my expectation price is bit high, but if you’re going with kids it’s totally worth. Small play area is there for kids. Rooftop restaurant restroom hand washing area should be improved it was stink and smelling bad. Rooms are very spacious highlight is Rockford temple view from room. Bed sheets are not up to the mark I can see some stains on bed sheets. Used bedsheets should be laundered before providing new guests.I suspect they just arranged bed sheets and pillows and it was provided to us. I see some small small bugs it might be roaches.tv is very small. Breakfast Buffet was good they have both Continental and South Indian foods for breakfast.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and introduced to several staff within the hotel. From then onwards the experience of our trip just got better and better. The all inclusive food was amazing and they provided us with an extensive choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Further to this the hotel offer a wide variety of water activities from snorkelling to kite surfing. Day or night there is always something for guests to do. Whilst this may be a 4 star hotel on paper, in my eyes the service and hospitality we received definitely make it a 5 star hotel. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Mauritius

Nobody even bothered to ask on arrival, zero covid protocol, no one is wearing mask nor they have idea about vaccination. Nobody speaks in English and we cannot understand their language. We had booked prior and upon checking they dint have any idea about our booking.

The rooms are good and the hotel is family friendly. The food is also great but it's not too pocket friendly. One coffee costs around Rs. 65 which is a bit pricey. They also have an underground parking space for cars.

Loved the ambient light. The view of Rockfort from here is awesome. The food preparation you can see directly as the kitchen is covered by glass, Kitchen very clean and tidy. Taste also good. We enjoyed the food and ambience. Good place to hangout with your kids.

Great view of the Rockford and the city too. The hotel is easy to reach, it offers enclosed parking with security, courteous staff, good food and the rooms are spacious and clean too. Room tariffs are reasonable considering the offerings. Overall it's a great option for families.

Staff is great. Neat rooms but it's a bit old building. Rockfort view is a visual treat. Having an underground car parking on a first come first service. Location is at the end of cauvery bridge adjacent to ER school, bit difficult to take the service road and reach the hotel. Have a restaurant on ground floor & dinner at roof top, that's a nice experience but the price is much expensive, a coffee costs Rs 70/- .

Their ambience is pretty cool. Rooftop restaurant with kids play area is an wonder idea. My most favourite food there is "cream of soup", they did Justice to the word "cream" in it. Looks and tastes so yummy.

By far the worst hotel that i have ever been in, rooms filled with mosquitoes and customer service is totally useless. No parking facilities available and you vehicle stands on the road during the entire stay. Mid-night the room service team starts making noise and goes on till 2 am. The most unfriendly reception staffs. In total it is an overpriced sub standard hotel.

Great ambience in rooftop with a nice play area for Kids. But the place is over crowd on weekend and hence the service is very average on weekend and decent on weekdays. Their food are decent. Neither Good nor Bad.

This is a decent hotel situated right on the highway and close to Chatram bus stand. The rooms are large enough and the bedding is good and clean . The toilets are clean but the fittings are old and just okay. The towels were old and worn out but clean. There is a bar on the ground floor and a rooftop restaurant. The rooftop restaurant was very crowded on a sat night. My only problem was that they made us wait for 20 mins for the room even though we arrived at 3 pm and were not willing to allow late check out. Overall, okay for the price but could be better. I would rate this 2.5 star if there was an option.
