Very near to the temple, clean rooms and convenience of a restaurant in the ground floor. The restaurant is not satisfactory due to slow service by the waiters and the taste and standard of the food should be improved. The breakfast was badly done. Though the ambience was clean, taste and quality of cooking matters. We recommend this hotel for a short stay.

We went for a family trip to Srirangam with the main objective for the Dharshan of Lord Sriranganathar to fulfill one of the wish list of my parents on their wedding anniversary day. And we chose to stay at Vignesh Residency, which was a wise decision we made. We had a fantastic time staying at the facility. The highlight is that they facilitated an early morning special Dharshan to my parents. My parents were overwhelmed by those blessings. Finally, one of the wishlists was most fulfilled 🙂❤️🙂 Spl. This is one of the best place to stay in Srirangam. 5/5 Location is near to main bus stop, market,shopping place as well as near to temple.5/5 The staff are very friendly, polite and supportive.5/5 The restaurant is excellent. The room service is prompt. Food is hygienic.5/5 Free breakfast is added benefit. I stayed for 3 nights with my family with 2 adult kids. The stay was very pleasant and memorable. I am a native of Srirangam, working abroad. The residency is up to the high standards. I had to change the booking date in the last minute but the manager at the counter was very polite and adjusted booking to my new date without any penalty. I strongly recommend Vignesh to any one visiting Srirangam for a pleasant and memorable stay.

Recently stayed in this property for one night. Nice experience. staffs are very cooperative. Room & wash room are clean. Food in attached restaurant is tasty,prepared freshly. Ambiance & service are very good. Totally, very good experience.

I've had a very bad experience with Vignesh Residency. We booked a room for two nights but Mr. Arun was adamant on charging us for 3 nights. Also, the guide which he insisted us on booking turned out to be a useless fellow who knew nothing about the temple. He didn't even allow us to donate money in the hundi, instead he wanted us to give that money to him. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

1.The rooms were large, clean and spacious. 2. The central AC was chilling and provided much needed relief in the May heat 3. Room service was quite prompt. 4. The location is prime+. Next to the main Gopuram. 5. Open parking was available(about 10) 6. The showers were rusting and need replacement. 7. The restaurant was above average. But billing could not be added to the room bill. The management may look at this inconvenience, since we need cash to pay promptly and cash is scarce these days.

A decent stay very close to Sriramgam temple. Rooms are very spacious with either King size or 2 large single beds. Bathroom is average, not very clean. Parking is limited, around 5-6 cars can be parked on the side of the hotel (no closed parking). A good veg restaurant is available at the ground floor.

As on : March 2023 Pretty good option near Sri Rangam temple. It’s real walkable distance. Car parking: Decent space Temple : 350-400 meter walkable Room: spacious room Staff : Polite and helpful, they guide you to avail comfortable Darshan One star less for bathroom fittings which were not comfortable in our experience.

A very descent stay close to Srirangam temple. They have a car parking available and a restaurant available in the ground floor where they serve very good food 👌 Srirangam temple is at walkable distance from here . Definitely , a good option is to consider if you are visiting along with family

We could see the Raja Gopuram from room. Arranging Guide for Srirangam perumal dharshan. Rooms are clean and room service is good. We stayed at 4 beded room. It was very spacious. Restaurant is at ground floor.

On the location front, Must say, this is the Ideal place to stay close to Sri Ranganathar Temple. Cleaniliess is their top priority. Tasty food and To top it all, must rate their staffs 5 out of 5. Special mention here to Mr. Rajesh the person at the reception is an wonderful resource to this property. Senior person in the house keeping section is an added feather to this property. Such a nice team.

Hotel is proximal location to Sri Ranganatha temple. Rooms were very clean and we needed to put in a cleaning request each morning. The rooms were supplied with a few bottles of water each day. The buffet breakfast was provided by the restaurant downstairs. We ate a few lunches and dinners at the restaurant as well and it was very tasty. The front desk staff were helpful with providing us information on transportation, directions, etc. My only complaints are that some of the bellboys constantly want to be tipped and it was very annoying. When they forget to leave water or clean towels, they still expect a tip when they bring it.

Although the location was near the temple, rooms were below average .very small room and tiny bathroom compared to the hefty amount they were charging . Also room hygiene was questionable ,there wasn't much space to walk too. Reception area along with restaurant or lifts everywhere there was a bad smell possibly due to ventilation issue. I wouldn't recommend staying here, there are tons of better hotels with similar price range and excellent rooms.

Rooms are poorly maintained. They charge much more than the provided value. The location is best though for Shri Ranganath Swamy Temple. There was missing tea coffee sugar sachets. Upon asking for the same, they took a long time and did not deliver the stirrer. Further the waiter in the restaurant came to the room later asking for tips saying - can you give me some tips. This is not professional at any place when the breakfast is complimentary.

We had timed our Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple visit during the peak month of Purattasi. Mr.Rajesh of Vignesh Residency assured us that darshan arrangements through his hotel will be taken care of. True to his word, the logistics were well organized. Overall, the hospitality, room cleanliness and essential amenities (AC, Kettle) is commendable. Food is pure veg, service prompt. Noteworthy - the proximity to the temple. The hotel is within 2 min walk of the 'Raja Gopuram' of the temple which is a blessing in itself!

We had a very comfortable stay at Vignesh Residency. The room was clean and hygienic and well sanitized. I had taken 2 rooms as we were 5 including 2 Senior citizens. The Hotel had good car Parking and very close to the Srirangam temple. The staff were very courteous. The Restaurant offered good variety of dishes and food was tasty. We would recommend for all. I will definitely visit again.

Decent place if you are visiting the temple. They are a small town establishment and genuinely try to provide good service. If you have experienced great service in the city please do not go with the same expectations. They strive to do better so if you find anything lacking, give constructive feedback and they will do better.

Just entered the room, it's a double executive. The rooms are very clean (including bathrooms) and property is well maintained. AC, TV and other amenities work as expected. Recommended the stay here as it is also very close to temple, walkable distance of about 200m. Also get good network connectivity for airtel and jio for those like me that gots to do some work, enjoy! Note: will probably update at end of stay.

Best comfortable hotel to stay near the Srirangam temple. near to srirangam bus stand and railway station. Well maintained rooms and clean toilet. You can enjoy the view of the temple tower and walk relax to the temple from the hotel. Very much a peaceful location near the temple. Also the check with the help desk for Darshan and city temple tourism they can arrange vehicle. Safe place to stay with family in a luxury room at a pretty decent amount.

This place is very close to Sri Rangam temple, you can have a view of Raj Gopuram from their window itself, awesome view, room wise also good but it would have been lil more spacious rest everything is best here.

Visited with family with Srirangam Ranganathaswamy temple visit the centre of our travel itinerary. The property is a very short walk away from the temple complex. They are a chic little place with clean well-maintained rooms and washroom facilities. The polite staff will take care of your needs and check-in formalities if you call and speak with them before arrival. Attached restaurant is decent enough. Remember you are in a small town so you cannot necessarily come with expectations of the city hotels. But this is a very nice place.

We stayed in this hotel a week back. We visited Srirangam for the temple visit. So the hotel is perfectly placed with a parking facility. Considering the location and its related limitations, it is an excellent place to stay. The veg hotel on the ground floor is a good and convenient option.

Stayed their for 2 nights. Very close to Rajagopuram. Literally 2 min away from the temple. Clean room and bathroom. convienent resturant option down stairs. Reception staff are responsible and take good care.

We stayed at Vignesh Residency with the Srirangam temple visit the centre of itinerary. We, a family of 4, booked two studio rooms and are very happy to report a very pleasant stay at the property. Vignesh residency is less than 500 meters walk away from the temple entrance. This property has well-maintained air-conditioned rooms with clean washrooms, decent car parking space and a good vegetarian restaurant attached to it. Special mention to Mr. Farooq and Mr. Arun who took care of all our check-in processes and helped us during our stay with all our queries. Highly recommend Vignesh Residency if you have Srirangam travel on your mind.

It is a good standard hotel Very near to Rangnathji temple. Food also very good . Simple hotel , plus point is neat , good food and near to main Temple. Temple view from Room gives u good feeling.

Vignesh Residency , the hotel with boarding & lodging is situated at, Melle Road, Srirangam is in a prime location, the rooms are very well maintained at a very reasonable rates. The food supplied by them are very tasty & the customer service is good

Comfortable stay and large room. Reasonably well maintained and we had no complaints except a dysfunctional kettle. Staff were courteous and we missed breakfast since we came back after breakfast hours.

Stayed at Vignesh Residency Srirangam, for two nights from Sept 24th in a studio room. Booking was done from the hotel website and it worked fine. The overall experience from our first stay in the hotel was excellent, and that prompted us to return to this hotel again. The experience from this visit was totally not up to the mark. On arrival at the lobby, we weren’t greeted by front desk associates. They responded after I greeted them. Check-In process was smooth. On getting into the room, torn old bedsheets and stained pillow covers caught my attention, and this was totally unacceptable. I immediately brought this to the notice of the front desk staff. Mr. Arun agreed to come up and help in showing another room. That too had old worn out bed linen. On seeing me unhappy, Arun promised to change the linen and get room (#205) fit enough to stay. Mr. Raja (Manager) and Arun got the room ready in 30 mins. But for them, I wouldn’t have agreed to stay back in the hotel. I observed that on the whole, that the management needs to step up the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel. The sheers were torn and hanging. This was the condition in room #201 too. The WC had stains and the inside of the seat covers had some dirt spots. Once we settled down, dialed the restaurant number and at 5 pm. , asked for 2 cups of coffee. The response I got was, that they have just closed down after lunch service and there would be a delay in serving coffee. It would take at least 15 to 20 mins as the coffee is just being brewed and milk is being set to boil. I was disappointed as it was 5pm, perfectly the time they should be ready to serve coffee without any delay. I found the food served for dinner and breakfast at the restaurant was reasonably good. The breakfast items ( idly, vada, pongal, Kesari and dosa) for both the days were exactly the same. I requested for a dosa smaller in size to be served, but got the normal size. The idea behind requesting a dosa smaller in size, was to avoid wasting food. The servers were stiff; no greetings; no smile. Wi-Fi didn’t work well. Check-Out was handled well by Mr.Arun. Thanks to Mr. Raja and Mr.Arun for stepping out to make sure that the worn out linen in our room was replaced, thus helping us change our decision to stay on this visit. Based on this experience, I would request the management to take stock of all that requires maintenance and initiate corrective measures. The reason being, that this hotel is strategically located and has a pocket friendly room tariff and all the potential to shine consistently. It would be great too, if the hotel management, have their hotel and restaurant staff re-trained in customer service. Yes, the review is long, but it is my sincere intent, that this hotel bounces back with continued maintenance and good customer service.

The stay at Vignesh residency was good enough for us for having a hygienic atmosphere. The rooms are very maintained. The staff are very polite answering to us. The PRO was very kind enough and guided us and solved our doubts. Only thing is that, when we took a package, it was not informed that breakfast was also included. I request the reception to let us know about the package if any to the guest who come there.

First thing it's not a 3 star as mentioned in some portal. But, the rooms are good. Restroom maintained and overall service was good. I stayed for 4 days as a solo traveller. The folk Rajesh, at the reception was very friendly and he made sure the stay was good. Rooms would be cleaned as needed,. Food, a pure veg restaurant. They do room service and its good for all South indian dishes.Overall a good stay.
