If you are a Appam and Hoppers ( அப்பம் & இடியாப்பம்) lover then it's a good place for dining. Menus like Srilankan and Kerala type tastes. Price are quite expensive for the items available. Very small place and difficult to manage weekend crowds. Food taste is good and some items are very tasty and different in tastes.

Authentic SriLankan dishes served here. Service is fast. Taste is delicious. The full-size fish was amazing. Seeni Sambol and egg Appams is a great combo. The banana dessert is just lip smacking.

The main food (Aapam) is served in various dishes with non vegetarian items like fish, mutton and various dishes of chicken also. There are also varieties of Vegetarian dishes also available in this small and compact restaurant. The prices are also affordable for average people also. So give a visit to this restaurant once and enjoy your dinner. But the restaurant will be only open in the evening time around 6,00 pm to around 9.30 pm

Had a good dinner ....when I am in Madurai feel like eating all my missed food. This was one restaurant i always crave to eat. The Owner Subbu is very sweet lady. Shr always gives good homely feeling. Had a prawn sukka and mutton sukka And Egg appam with chicken gravy and onion sambal. It was good .... enjoyed!!!

Good place for appams for sure! The kothu parotta didn’t taste great. Not recommended for vegetarians for sure! Liked their Appam with coconut milk and iced milo. Had higher expectations from their parotta (since we are in Madurai). Definitely try their cheese appam- very different and yum.

Amazing restaurant, unique food, and the ‘Chicken Appam’ was probably the best chicken I’ve had yet during my India trip. Would definitely recommend! And the owner was super nice.

Oh my God.. My Favourite Dinner spot. I go out with my friends n family always. It has about 15 seats only. Arranged in 4's and 2's. They serve appam n hoppers. The poori with masal ,, kothu parotta are special dishes. The fish (full) fried is our favorite.. we hav side dish combos veg, non veg, sambal etc . All were awesome. The Prawn Gravy Is my favorite..tasty.. best.. It has only 4-6pieces of prawns. But I can feel its taste .., even now. We usually end up with banana pan cake, lemon soda..

One of the few places in madurai to offer Indo-Lankan fusion cuisine, a must try place to have exquisite food, If u haven't tried Lankan food, then this is the place to explore them, It is a pleasant ambience with a calm hospitality. Amazing food. Especially likes the Prawn and mutton thokku. They have their special recipe and the gravy tasted amazing. The host was also a great lady who helped us with available options. Hoppers is Idiyappam. Place was small but pleasant ambience. The crowd started coming in by the team we left. Little bit on the expensive side however the taste is worth their price.

Personally there is one thing other than food that attracts ppl here i feel......idk if you have felt it or its just me, the manager in this restaurant a mid-old aged lady who greets us and takes orders gives a motherly vibe ( not kidding guys ). And she is super friendly. Now coming to the foooood they specialise in appams with all the different varieties MUST TRY = chicken cheese appam ( THE BEST ) ❤️🙈 There is one appam with sweet milk adhuvum must try definitely you won't stop with one. There is this personal touch given to every customer. It's a small place compared to the other restaurants around it. It has this whole dim lit peaceful ambience adding to its homely vibe 🥺💯 We love this place. Must visit place if you come to madurai and want simple but something new to eat. Shall take photos when I go there next time ✌🏽

We stumbled upon this place by accident as it isn’t on any Top 10 list. And that’s a mystery because this was the best meal I had in our 3 days in Madurai. A small, family owned restaurant where a lady suggested what we should have, explained every item on the menu and made sure we were served quickly. The small dining space was clean, the food was great, the price was v affordable. What else does one need? Note: this isn’t fine dining but it is great dining!

Chicken cheese aapam and Prawns Roast is some wat OK.. rest all that we ordered is in average taste only !!

I got to experience their food tonight and I could say this is one of the worst I have tried in the recent times. I ordered for Wheat Parathas and what I got were the ones made of Maida and Wheat blend. It was rubbery and didn't taste like wheat. The accompanying chicken curry was bland and the pieces were also very much limited. I got something that looked like Tomato Thokku and it was disgusting. It tasted sweet. There was also something that looked like dried coconut chutney and it tasted like rotten mangoes.

Excellent service .. They explain you about each and every dish they serve .. When you want to have healthy south breakfast without oil then it's the right one to have ..

It's a typical Indo Srilankan food.. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines are available.. Quality and taste is good 👍 On offordable prices... Very limited spaces available but service is fast.. Parking is a concern... Overall food is good 👍 😋

Visited multiple times this trip Limited options, but excellent taste, extremely friendly staff and owner. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes to explore Lankan food and feel good about it

This is a hidden gem in madurai. If u want a meal light on your tummy and purse check this out. The flavors are wonderful and very memorable. Loved every item. The chicken kothu idiyappam was the best

In recent times, the food quality and the service quality is not up to the mark as like earlier days. Very much disappointed in their hospitality. From the very beginning we used to go this place with family & friends. But now a days their service is very poor. On one day, there was no power at all and we took the food in candle light. Another day, they put more spice in the food and everybody suffered a lot. Day by day the experience was not good for us.

A unique niche. If you like the dishes mention m which also is what the place is called, then you will love the place. Simple and tidy menu. Good taste and quick service. Price is definitely on the higher side and for some dishes it is like super ridiculous to pay that sum as many other restaurants can beat this place hands down on both taste and dish portion size. One more thing don't get misled by the roof top pics shown in Google. It is kind of a guest room of a house modified to take about 30 in at a time. That's not a complaint though as it is very well equipped and staffed to have a good dining experience

Great place for some nice Srilankan food. Typical comfort food with your curries and appams and idiyappams. Loved their fish fry too!! Highly recommended if you are that area.
