Amuthu Unavagam .... this is a new concept of self service and take food .. I think they took role model of நினைவூட்டும் இட்லி கடை in thiruverumbur ... here you have to pay the bill first , get token and eat food ... the place and food are hygienic .... unlimited chutney and idli podi .. today I consumed two idlies , one nei podi Dosai , one normal Dosai ... and took parcel for home ...three idlies , nei roast , and onion Dosai .. although the Dosai were tasty they were small in size ... கொஞ்சமாவது வயிறு நிறையிற மாதிரி தோசை சைஸ் இருக்க வேணாமா.. this is the critical issue here .. idli Rs 10 per piece Nei Podi Dosai Rs 40 onion Dosai Rs 40 normal Dosai Rs 25 parcel charges etc otherwise okey ... unique experience ... I paid by UPI Payment ... ( Phone pe) location ...in Aruna Nagar , in front of Saibaba Temple on the way to Veereswaram in Srirangam ...

Podi dosa was super enjoyed the food different type of chutney

Food is amazing. But the real deal is the people who run this beautiful restaurant. Every one is so humble and down to earth. Will go back again!

The food is very tasty. The ambience is very welcoming and the cooking is doing right in front of our eyes and I found the environment to be very hygienic. The staff were very polite and customer friendly and most importantly displayed happiness and pleasantness in serving the customers. The restaurant sometimes get crowded and that is expected of any eating joint that serve good food, however one need not wait for too long to get a place to sit and eat in the joint. Overall I will recommend this as a "Must Go" place for everybody right from kids to aged people. The food available is appealing to all the tastes and all the ages.

A very great place to try different chutney specials and interesting recipes. Located inside streets of Srirangam, this place is definitely a must try for neighbour community.

What an amazing experience, must visit and try the maximum number of varieties, my fav is sweet dosa and rava upma. Their USP is providing 7 varieties of chutneys for any dosa ordered and they have 15+ varieties of dosa. Usually go before 8 to taste all the chutneys Good service and hygienic too

Kuzhi paniyaram is very well made and served with seven different types of chutney and sambar. A very tasty item.

The quality of the food was awesome they offered many varieties of dosa and had more vegetarian options like Aapam, kuzhi paniyaram, idiyappam and had many varieties of chutney. They have a self service option which makes us stand in queue when there is a crowd however the wait time is not much as they have like 5 to 6 persons operating in parallel.

The taste was authentic and good, they have a variety of different South Indian dishes and different types of chutnies they offer is really a unique one. We went there for dinner and the menu was big, it was a little hard to select which one to eat, I would like to try all the items there, Hereafter whenever I go to trichy I would surely visit this place.

Great place. Only issue is that there's a lot more crowd than what they can manage. There has to be serviced tables for elders & large families. The food here is wonderful!

Excellent place for your night dinner. All People are so hospitable. Must visit if you come to Srirangam. Make sure you come by 7.30PM to enjoy all the items. Will recommend this place for sure. Please do visit.

Self service for dine in. For elders they come to your place and serve. People friendly.. They have around 8 varieties of chutney and each one tastes amazing.. They provide all chutneys for dine in. Rates are nominal.. To avoid crowd reach by 7:30..

It's my first visit to this place, after i seated one polite lady took the order & i thought i will get my food on table because I don't know this is a self service place. The lady in the cash counter saw me waiting for food then rudely says you only have to go & get your food. Food counter in one corner chutney, sambar in one corner then i have to sit in an other corner. I'm done with my food & while having coffee, from the distance she loudly asked me what did u eat & announced my bill value loudly. Food is okay & priced similar to other places. AVERAGE FOOD WITH HIGH ATTITUDE. WORST EXPERIENCE......

Its a home + restaurant style place First need to get token and then give it to the food counters to get the items Fully self service Seating is split in the outdoor, and indoor of the house. Just sit where you get a place. Coming to food, not so great. If you have had a good home made food, you wont find this extra ordinary. Stomach friendly home food is what I felt. Please avoid getting MODAKATHAN DOSAI. Its not real modakathan used for sure. No taste no flavour in it. Car parking: Have to find a place in the street. Edit after reply: About modakathan dosai, if it were real modakathan keerai grinded to proper consistency, you might get the actual taste.

Food quality and side dish varieties are good. But, needs improvement in terms of ambience and at serving stalls. In peak hours you have to be in a queue with plates in your hand, just as if you are a hostel student. Yet good to give a try.

Everybody is hungry when they see food! A queue system at the cash and food counters will work wonders. Sadly folks tend to cut lines when they want their dish.. Taste, cost and fresness are fabulous! Wish there were more such eateries. Best part? Run by women!

Excellent tiffin in the fully women run restaurant. The dosa counters , the chutney station ( serve around 7 different ones) are novelle and well thought off. Hidden in the road leading from Amma mandapam to Devi theater, this restaurant definitely needs a visit. Sublime

U can feel like ur home. Little spicy. We tried appam with coconut milk It was very tasty. Chappati was also tried. Nice. Idly -2 nos cost just rs 25 big enough cannot eat more than 4 nos. Tasty idlis served with no.of chutneys and sambar. We can sit and eat but self service. Overall a very good restaurant with homely food. Only dinner is available in this restaurant. Pure vegetarian restaurant.

The best home style dinner place in Srirangam. It is indeed a saviour for the elderly people living in & around the place. Simple setup and yet delivering quality food. The taste of all the chutneys and podi is definitely outstanding. The service is quick and the place is crowded during the weekends.

Excellent place where you get different varieties of Dosas and traditional south indian food and the taste is homely and the cost is also nominal. The place is open only in the evening time from 06.30 pm. The place gives a homely atmosphere and one more thing not to forget.... They provide seven varieties of chutney with Dosas and also sambar.

Food is very tasty. They are preparing the food in hygienic way. Varieties of side dish are also available there. But the Size of special dosa like mushroom and paneer dosa is very small. Its cost is little bit higher than expected.Apart from this, we can taste healthy and different varieties of food here.
