Today I went to this market and bought vanjaram fish half kg for 500 rupees. After coming to home I noticed they have given the rotten fish and full of foul smell. Very worst money minded people selling old stock fish, better avoid this place Note - Main entrance, left hand side first shop i bough the fish. He is looting money and selling old stock fish. Trichy no 1 fish market.Rate cheapest in the city. Fresh products. Variety of fish,crabs,prawn can be purchased here,which you cannot even see elsewhere in the whole Trichy town. Carry your own bag.They donot provide polythene or carrybags.

All the places of this market look like sewage😭😭😭. Fish market should be constrated regarding their needs. No slopes, no cleaning authorities,.... Corporation or person in charge or food safety should take care of this place. Whenever i go to buy fish, i feel that this market can maintain in best way. Okay better but don't go in Sunday because heavy crowd and traffic Saturday is the best to purchase fish please improve the sanitation

Best place to buy fish @wholesale price. Beware of some shops that sell low quality fish with different names. If you have some knowledge about fish or go with person who have some knowledge in fish names, u can get fresh fish for reasonable price.

The place was not clean and and full of dirty water out side th shop. It's better to option to clear th dirty water using under groundd drainage.

Expect it to be wet! Bring cover or bags or cooler yourself for a better easy experience! Carry some sanitizer n other things to clean your hand if need be! Reasonable price and high quality!

Biggest fish market in Trichy. New infrastructure but badly planned which ended up the shops being setup outside the designated buildings. Wide variety of fishes available at different prices. Sufficient bike parking. Difficult to find a car parking space. Multiple shops. Will be very crowded in weekends. Try to get there by 7 in the mrng to have a peaceful shopping experience
