Mannadiar
handicrafts
is
quiet
a
place
to
visit
for
someone
looking
for
antique
furniture
and
artefacts.The
place
has
been
there
forever
and
I
remember
(im
40
now)
walking
along
unique
pieces
of
history
as
a
teenager
and
that
wooden
smell
still
lingers
in
my
nostrils.They
have
shifted
to
a
new
bigger
facility
and
there
are
two
warehouses
behind
the
main
structure.The
whole
area
is
packed
to
brim
with,mainly,furniture..old,older
and
vintage.If
you
have
time
and
patience,browse
hard,you
will
come
up
with
surprising
and
very
intriguing
things
in
wood,brass
and
other
metal.The
prices
are
kept
high
but
you
can
haggle
freely
with
the
sales
women
and
Mannadiar
himself
who
are
quiet
down
to
earth
and
eager
to
please.Iam
itching
to
buy
a
4
piece
completely
brass
chair
table
combo
which
were
so
heavy
i
couldnt
lift
the
chair
without
breaking
sweat.
