This hotel is an authentic old Saravana bhava hotel. The tastes of the food is so good. But when I went the taste of the dosa alone little bit compromisable as the batter of the dosa was little bit sour. Don't know why. Even though the taste of sambar and the chutneys were so goooood.

Neat ambience, nearby nellaiyappar temple, regarding food- basanthi seemed old , reported the management - they assured to relook

Please be aware that this restaurant is not the original Saravana Bhavan of Chennai based, but this is a Tirunelveli based one. We cannot expect a high class vegetarian experience here, but can be used while traveling across Tamilnadu and kerala. Food is ok but hygiene aspects are in question. The hand wash area is not clean. No toilet facility.

Very very worst experience. I have tried Afternoon meals. All the served items were in a very bad taste. The curries served got spoiled long time back but they were still serving the kettu pona kulambu. Worst hotel I've ever seen. Respected owner who have responded to this message - I have seen the older reviews. So many people have already shared their bad experiences. Not upto expectations. Poor maintanence. Restroom is unclean it was like below average hotel, taste was average. Food service was not good. All were rude. I have visited another branch. It's maintained well. So if u find for a veg hotel have a choice of another branch near nellaiappar temple . This branch I visited was worst.

Not so good….I always prefer vinjai Vilas and Thalakapati restaurants in Tirnulveli….this one is mostly crowded and not so great …..we can say as a average restaurant but since it’s located near temple and main shopping area it has lot of visitors.

One of the best and reasonable price restaurant in nellai city. And servers are so kind and very helpfull to customers, especially ac dine in service.. food are simply awesome and price and quantity very good 👍

The best place to enjoy vegetarian food in Tirunelveli. Hygienic and neat atmosphere. Good ambience. But the quantity of gravies is very less compared to others. An increase in quantity will be appreciated. A bit pricey for some dishes. Unless for the less quantity of the gravies, I will give 5 stars.

Very worst in parcel service, every menu we need wait for halfhour. Eg. I ordered POORI masala and wating for more than 15 minutes,still they didn’t handover the parcel. Simply they are giving priority to Zomato and swiggy

Worst experience … after a heavy hungry we reached this hotel 21.02.2022 ….10.15 pm .. by starting itself server’s behaviour was worst …. After served the chappathi he refused to give kurma …. Asked us to manage with chitney and sambar …. Further we asked any more …. But they refused and said that the hotel time was closed …. If you are closing mean than you have to mention the closing time …. Other wise not get the order ….

Situated near the railway junction. Service is decent and the quality of the food is decent. If you come with family and friends and order more food the service people in the restaurant will treat you differently else nobody will come to your table and the billing time is too high. Prices are higher considering the ambience and the quality.

We had our evening snacks and dinner. Though the taste was good, it was not gr8. But all items were edible and good for one shot, if not for second time.

Very bad experience. Food was average(Very salty Kadai Paneer & Okayish Naan) and cost of the food bothered me a lot. They charged us 34.29₹ for a single chapathi so I asked their staff how a single chapathi would cost 34₹? The answer was the chapathi set costs 70₹ with one or two curry. I wonder how a single chapathi (size - medium) without curry costs 34₹ in India. Nellai Saravana Bhava is an average 2 star hotel but their menu looks super rich in terms of cost but not in taste. Thank god. We didn’t follow the regular way of dining from Starter to Desserts. BEWARE OF THEIR COSTLY MENU CARD BEFORE VISITING. Keep this hotel as a last option everytime. Pricing scammers!!! Food is ok. But hotel floor tiles, wash basin, bathrooms are not clean and Hygienic. Staff uniform is dirty.

Very good service and food,would definitely recommend for all . Very ambient and cool mood.I really love all the foods like the paneer sidedishes. You WILL get both north Indian,Chinese and South Indian dishes at its best.

Great vegetarian restaurant. Also it's a good place to go if you don't speak Tamil. The staff speak Hindi.

Sorry for this kind of feedback... on the first time there was a worm in the chapathi I ordered. In the second time the curd with onion is too sour.

Excellent food i really enjoy my food everytime I was in tirunelveli.. My first stop in tirunelveli is here to get a good and hygiene food. The price is also reasonable..

We had breakfast in this restaurant near Palayamkottai bus stand at about 10 am..Most of the items were not available...and whatever available like Dosa and Ghee roast was poor in quality with a sour taste...no poori ..no idli Vada ..servers took so much time to serve...I remember this restaurant about 15 years back was one of the best vegetarian restaurant in Tirunelveli....Now they have more branches but sacrificed their quality... Very unfortunate...This is not the first time but as a family we have experienced the same during our last few visits...

I had a terrible experience at the restaurant "Nellai Saravana bhavan" and I would not recommend anyone to dine there. The staff was incredibly rude and refused to take my order. When I asked for assistance, they responded with a condescending tone and an eye roll. I was shocked by their behavior and left feeling humiliated. It was obvious that they didn't want my business and I was made to feel like an inconvenience. Not only was the service terrible, but the atmosphere was also uninviting. I cannot believe that a restaurant with such terrible customer service can even stay in business. I hope that management takes a serious look at their employees and their behavior towards customers. Until then, I will never set foot in this establishment again.

It's one of the unique and best vegetarian restaurant in Nellai. I had meals and it was fantastic and really delicious with lot of varieties and the server was serving rice multiple times with sambar, rasam, etc In overall had a good brunch. Place was super clean with good air conditioning.

Its opposite nellaiyappar temple.good vibration .food was amazing ,especially paneer masala dosai n poondu kulambu topnatching..excellent services. server are provided food with smile..thanks the team.good job .keep it up.

Average hotel not original Saravana bhavan , they are just using the brand name to pull customers . Meals was costly compared to normal hotels . Extra curd costs 20 rs which is very unfair . For travellers looking for a decent meal this would suit .

The atmosphere was good. Service was also good. But the food was Ok only. No variety in Veg Meals. For 230rs the food isn't justified. I didn't mean it is bad and not too good for 4 and more rating.

Food was just amazing, sambar and that garlic pachadi are really makes us appetite.

Ordered South Indian meals for lunch. Loved every dish in the plate. My personal favourite was the keerai masiyal and thugayal

Totally waste!... If u have a look at the restroom & hand wash area!... We cant have food there!... As a hotel/restaurant atmosphere is the main criteria to dine in. Entering such an unclean restroom lets us go to various health issues. If u have a look at the food preparation area, it looks unhygienic. I am unable to take pictures or else i could have taken & posted here!.. lodging and the outer look of the building is good but dine-in area & restrooms is totally unhygienic like a road side restaurant, even worse than that.

I had dinner twice. Foods are good. Not opt to the mark. Charges are nominal. They need to concentrate on variety of the foods and more tasty.Vegetarian hotel.

Visited for lunch. Food is good. Rate they charged for Paneer 65 was Rs.160 which is unacceptable.

Nice lunch at a reasonable price and good ambience. The staff were extremely courteous and valet parking is available here.

Good hot food. Order came fast. Nice people and serving.

Cost wise little bit higher but taste wise it is good place to have dinner and breakfast.

ordered food through IRCTC here, even though I was initially sceptical after reading food reviews at this place i was pleasantly surprised food was well packed hot and the accompaniments were sumptuous enough. hope more and more people use this service provided by IRCTC and this restaurant. kudos !🙏 PS: they delivered as promised on to my seat inside the coach. special thanks to that.
