I am very happy to think that I am a member of the choir of this Holy Trinity Cathedral. Peace is in the midst of all the worries that come to the Holy Trinity Cathedral Church. The thought of coming here is heartening. As soon as you enter this Church you can feel the touch of the divine, and you can see Jesus. An unforgettable rapture in my life. The best place to worship the Lord and Praise him. This church will be heard to each and every prayer that raises in here and no prayer will be returned without answer. Very huge church with lots of spaces for huge gathering. Marriages hosted in this church is famous. It is situated in a usual high traffic area. Have separate places for Sunday School. Good restrooms.

Holy Trinity Cathedral is the cathedral church of Tirunelveli Diocese under Church of South India.

The Church is not an automobile showroom - a place to put ourselves on display so that others can admire our spirituality, capacity, or prosperity. It is more like a service center, where vehicles in need of repair come for maintenance and rehabilitation.

This is also called 'Tower Church' or 'Oosi Koburam'(in tamil). This is where we got married.. We never miss a visit on our Anniversary for prayers. Photos attached were taken during Dec'2022

The CSI HOLY TRINITY CATHEDRAL CHURCH was built in 1876 by reverence CTE Rhenius and rebuilt in 1876 located at the soul of the city. This popular Church can accommodate 2600 people with an area of 21118 sft built up area.. well maintained very clean all etiquette and manners are maintained in totality... Very interestingly people from outside of the state come here to solomonize marriages of the near and dear.. Parking area..washrooms are available as well it is disabled friendly...though not air conditioned the high roof top takes care of church lovers...

The Holy Trinity Cathedral of CSI Tirunelveli Diocese is built by the renowned CMS missionary Rev. Rhenius in 1826. A very large and spacious church in tirunelveli. 5000 people can accommodate at a time. The church tower is the highest church tower in tirunelveli. When we entered into the church we will feel the God's presence.

Historic, simple yet elegant Church, popularly known as "oosi gopuram". I mostly visit here to pray. It's majestic, well maintained round the clock, on all days since it is the primary Church for CSI denomination. It has rich History, original Architecture was that of a typical Europe design. This church will celebrate its 200 years in another 5 years. The founders tomb is in the near by Rhenius street. ( Near FMPB office). He is the reason for Tirunelveli and Tuticorin dioceses. A must see place ( both church and the tomb) for every grateful Christians of Tirunelveli.
