The Roof top Restaurant is Disappointing 😞. 1. Too much Crowd and takes a Lot of time for Dining and Billing. 2. The Food was served in Plastic Plates. Food Grade or not doesn't matter. The Hotel has a Luxury Tag attached to it. So I was shocked to see Plastic Plates. 3. The Roof top isn't quiet or Romantic 😑. It's actually Chaotic with annoying traffic sound 😤. The only Saving grace was Regional food. North Indian varieties are Terrible and kindly refrain from it.

Hotel under renovation. The hotel team says that they close the construction by 7 pm. However, we heard drilling noise for almost the entire night. Seems most of the reviews for the restaurant and not for the lodge. Staff behaviours like security, valet drivers misbehave with customers ( with rude approach). Even if you complain about them, still no action ( as you stay for a day Or 2. So they give preference to their employees instead of your concern). One of the finest hotel in Nellai junction. Rooms are good & clean, but daily cleaning not done properly. I stayed 3 days in Executive room with kettle only, but no one came for maintenance or even not served tea-coffee refills, water bottles they suppose to as complimentary. When I asked about it third day, they replied that we have to leave the room key with them to do so… which is pathetic and no prior info provided to the guest. Ambiance is very good. Vegetarian hotel in first floor and food is very delicious. Complimentary breakfast is very tasty and good options. In general other food prices are nominal and worth. Room food service they provide is added advantage. They have parking space separately near by location since this hotel is located on main road junction and there is limited space for drop and pickup only. Reception and staff are very friendly. Overall hotel is good to stay with family!

Food is superb. Stayed at the nearby Hotel since construction work is going on here. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner at roof top at different times since i stayed for 3+ days. Filter coffee is top class, and they serve delicious food all the times. Vegetarians will have to go for this Hotel if you plan to stay at Tirunelveli. Go for it and enjoy your meal.

Hote is in prime location near to railway station. Their rooms are well maintained and their restaurant lighting are excellent. They also had roof top restaurant for dinner which will be pleased experience.

I stayed in this hotel forany times before covid, but I stayed today the room maintenance is average. It's AC room in old style. Hot water not coming. Toilet are maintained average. They charge 1800 + gst around 2000 per night which is not worth. Pros: Near to railway station. Walking distance Lift facility. Restaurant in next building. Veg restaurant. Car parking. Good service. Cons: Average maintenance.

Room, Toilet was neat and clean. Minor glitches like one light not working, safety door latch was absent. Coffee, water, food etc were quickly and courteously supplied on order through intercom. I very much appreciate and liked this, especiallywhen I needed it most. I would have given 5* if only they rectified the problem of muddy water coming in bathroom tapes. Previous day evening itself I pointed out, next day morning 9.15 a.m. also reminded them, but next day till I vacated 2 p.m. it was not attended to. I washed my face with mineral water only. Auto wala are good only but they smile and ask ₹150 but u can reach that destination in govt bus by ₹15. From station, walkable distance only aravindh eye hospital. Morning puuttu and special , afternoon lunch is good. Evening special kolukattai etc Coffee is awesome. Lemon juice is good. Sweets and juice available. Here, UPI,Paytm Gpay Phonepe and card acceptable. Price is very normal. Affordable to all. Only demerit is some server will take care you well for your tips😂 Upstairs- AC is awesome environment. Normal rate only +5/10 Rupees extra than normal. No UPI acceptable. Only cash and card.

They can spend little for the guests. They give 500 ml water bottle per customer for 24 hours. One mini soap, shampoo, toothbrush for two persons. How will you share toothbrush. Otherwise, nice hotel to stay in the town.

We stayed in hotel janaki Ram on 16 to 18th dec 2023. The rooms and services are really good. Most importantly, 17 and 18 dec had heavy rain and the entire city was flooded. The hotel has made excellent arrangements for all guests stayed during the period. We stayed at Janakiram hotel during 2023 flood in Tirunelveli. All guests were provided with food (3 meals) during the tough time and hotel management even arranged a Jeep to transport all guests to safe location (without water logging). These were done for two days without charging a penny from guests at that time. The hospitality and care shown by hotel staffs towards the guests was simply unbelievable and I would recommend this hotel any day for safe and comfortable stay in Tirunelveli.

Excellent rooms. At heart of the city. Just walkable from railway junction. Clean rooms. Good reception. Good service staffs. Rooms are compact and not ultra spacious. But comfortable. there is no window views. There are covered with building walls on all sides. Room maintenance is good. Kids play area on roof top is good. Restaurant food is good. Excellent food. However worst tea. I tried two days in rows thrice -- all times same bad taste. They use cheap quality milk and low quality dust tea. really surprised that all food items are top-notch but why only tea is so bad that too in thirunelveli -south known for good tea? We took 2 executive rooms but the service provided was not great.. they don't even give water bottles properly. The coffee packet and milk packets were kept only on the day of check in and after that didn't even bother to ask us whether we need it the next day

Very neat and rich rooms, has a rooftop non-vegetarian restaurant, a pure veg restaurant in the ground floor and a buffet type ac veg restaurant in the first floor for complimentary breakfasts. The room service is excellent, at night 1 am they even responded and brought milk for a toddler to the room, the only gripe is parking, they have a limited parking in front of the hotel, but they have their own parking 150 metres away, but it also holds just about 10 cars, but they have a valet facility, they take care of it.

For several years, Janakiram has been the go to hotel for vegetarians in Tirunelveli. Breakfast is simple; slightly costly, but mostly good. They have a rooftop in the sixth floor which is open during evening every day. This is one of the best spots to spend time with your friends and family. On weekends, there will also be some live music aka 'isai katcheri' with some fine songs. They also have a small play area for children. Variety of foods are also good. You can get Indian, Chinese and Italian. Overall it is good place to spend time and get yourself entertained; not just eat.

I have been a regular at this Hotel. I feel there have been some major changes in the administration, based on my experience during my latest visit. I'd say the changes are on the good side of things. The restaurant wasn't as good as it was when compared to my previous visits. The room was very comfortable, and I'd definitely recommend this hotel for any ones stay in Tirunelveli. The prime location of the hotel is a Major plus.
