Went by google review and realised how deceptive it is. Except the location, rest all were bad. The toilet potty might not have seen the cleaner for years. It was dark brown in colour with cracks all around. The flush would not work. House keeping can not repair this. The towels were purchased during inauguration of this hotel. One would even hesitate to use it as door mat. The blanket and it cover were not washed since ages. I think even railways have started cleaning this. You will get coffee at the restaurant at 6.30 am only. But if you want room service will have to wait till 7.15!!!! When I gave this feedback at the reception, the kind of look and facial response was, " you need me more than I need you". If you don't was don't stay...we have enough customers type.... I still wonder who gave a 3 star status for this hotel.

I would have given lesser stars if it was possible. There is no communication between the managers and their staff. All things a hotel should do as a basic exercise were not done, things like placing toiletries, good buckets, etc. When we asked them for extra beds, which we had booked, the response from them was shabby at best. No blankets, no pillows, no towels, nothing! It is also worth noting that we had to wait for more than 30 minutes to get the basic-most necessitiy like water. The only saving grace of this seemingly 3-star hotel is its a little more than edible food. Don't waste your time booking a room here.

Booked 6 rooms for 17 people and paid half in deposit over a month ago. When we reached the hotel, they told us that they are out of shampoo and soap and when asked to order more they said that they only do that at the end of the month. How can that happen? 17 people are going to stay at your hotel, booking done over a month ago, shouldn't you prepare for that!!! Moreover, at night we asked for extra beds in all rooms which we had already mentioned at time of booking. They gave blanket for one room only. They were out of blanket! Do they even know how to run a hotel? Eventually they gave us bedsheets that we used as a blanket. Also, we had to ask them multiple times for drinking water. Food is average. Management is rude. Someone needs to teach them what cleanliness means! This can't be a 3 star hotel.

Don't select this hotels very worst behavior staff and receptionist very bad response while you called any doubts regarding hotel stay

One of the worst stay I had recently. Not even having a good approach to clients. Lot of issues which the hotel staffs not helped to solve. Harsh behaviour from receptionist, while tried asking name he's not ready to disclose. AC not working properly just only like a "high speed fan". Rooms are NOT sizeable as per photos, very congested. They don't even have money to buy extra batteries 🤣 for TV remote control. Altogether I don't recommend for stay but you can have food from the restaurant .

Online booking sites do 12 O clock as check-in and check-out time. But this hotel has 24 hours check in/out if booked directly. I booked online initially and had to pay for two days instead of one day because of my arrival/departure timings. 24 hr would be convenient/preferred by almost all, I guess.

Had one of the worst experiences I've ever faced in a hotel. We booked 2 standard ac rooms. The rooms were so congested and it was so dirty in the living room. Bathrooms were the worst, toilet flush was not working, shower was not working, buckets in the shower were so unclean , door wasn't locking properly, tv was broken and not working. No place was clean or hygenine enough. The room service didn't work properly. After fighting with the staffs, they refunded the amount. But that was horrible and made the whole day a bad experience. Don't book rooms here for the name. The menu card in the rooms only had liquors in them that shows how non family friendly this place is.

To begin with, there is no room boy to carry the luggage, I had only one piece so it’s fine, someone came as family or with old people, they couldn’t manage. TV remote was not working except channel button. They were not cleaning the room or changing towels unless told to do so. On top of that, I got a call on third day early morning about checkout. I said I will be checking out in the evening and payment has been done only for two days, and I will do for third day and this has been conveyed and confirmed by your manager in watsapp, he said he didn’t received such information and need to pay for third day immediately and guests are waiting. I said I will pay anyway. He still said it has to be paid in website only immediately since I booked initially through website, I said I cannot pay through website now. He was arguing you should have informed it before. After five minutes when I couldn’t pay in website, he agreed to pay directly, which he should have done initially itself without such useless statements like you didn’t inform before etc., if you’re planning for one day short trip and looking for a hotel with attached restaurant where it doesn’t matter about the TV, cleanliness etc., then you can go with this

I have no idea about rooms. But for food this is one of the decent and above average place for individuals and family. As a vegetarian restaurant they provide quality tiffin. But when we went they have less servers and food items. We tried Idly, Onion oothappam, Kothu Parotta and Puri. In desserts We tried Gulab Jamun and Basunti. All were good. But one thing i have noticed is they reduced the content of Basunti and increased the price.

The are undergoing renovation hence its better not to stay there. Elevator doesn't work and elderly people to struggle for 5 floors. Their. Service level has reduced

I stayed in Sree Barani Hotels, Tirunelveli for 3 days. Came to know about this place from some YouTube videos which were actually misleading. The location was good, no doubt. But for the location this place is not very appealing. The restroom shower tap was damaged, not very friendly to use. Also the main door handle was in a bad condition. Everytime we locked the door to come out, it was quite a task! We were very upset seeing the space in the room. It wasn't comfortable for 3 adults. They offered to put an extra bed. But the funny part was that there was no space only! They said they would remove the tea table and sofa outside the room to put an extra bed! We were irritated. Finally we were also charged for the extra bed while we didn't use it at all. Overall, it was a very bad decision to have chosen this place. It's high time they stop using Hotel Janakiram's reputation. Because of the renovation work going on there, it was also noisy in the night. Not worth the money. 😕

The only good thing is its very close to railway station. Check in is hassle free. Staffs are co-opeeaive.Rooms are ok. As it's a old construction all the interiors are not so good. Also renovation work is going on second floor. Bathroom is not that much clean and Hot water is not available properly. Need to renovate all the rooms as per new modern n technology. But still ok as if you want to stay near to tirunelveli Junction and all the eatables/Snacks shops are close to it.

It's a nice hotel very close to Tirunelveli Junction. The hotel staff is nice & accommodative too. They accepted my request to reduce my travel period to 1 from 2 nights. I personally feel that the rooms could be given a facelift as it looks a bit old

Room was very neat and clean at an Affordable cost. They had vegetarian hotels in ground and 1st floors - non-AC and AC. Most importantly the staffs were so kind-hearted, helping and welcoming

Located in heart of tirunelvelli. Very close to bus terminal as well as railway station. Rooms interior is not good. Toliet hygenic to be upgraded. Better do complete renovation to attract customers. Still old type of furniture and setup. Front desk staff must be polite especially night times

It's a great budget hotel with clean rooms, bathroom and good vegetarian food! Great for day use or short stays. There are no windows... only mock curtains. So if you are claustrophobic this hotel is not for you!

Having moderate rooms and better service but room cost is to much high and wifi totally waste. Ac not working properly. Bathroom flush not working good. Lifts also not good. Morning breakfast compensation is good. But pure vegetarian. Vanthutom so adjust panni irundhukurom na vanga illa na vera hotel ponga 😂

The rooms of this hotel is very old. The bathrooms are horrible untidy and old. The commode seat is very dirty and worn out amd one don't feel like sitting on it. The front desk staff are very friendly. The good thing about this hotel its location, its very close to Thirunelveli Railway station and in less 500 meters. The Hotel management should do immediate renovation of the bathrooms and rooms.

This is one of the worst hotel we had stayed so far. We reserved for two rooms, 309 and 310 are allotted to us. At the time of booking we have also paid for an extra bed. In 310, me, my husband and my daughter stayed.. The room is so small hence the bed provided in the room is also very small. We asked for extra bed at reception. Mr. Vignesh said they have to get Agoda confirmation..So we raised our complaint to our booking agent agoda. Agoda said they have spoken to someone name Danapal at the hotel, and he had provided extra bed. Anyone stayed there will realise the rooms are so small and it is very difficult to bring any extra bed into the room this being the situation, we are wondering why Dhanpal said he gave extra bed??? while our request for the same during your stay was repeatedly turned down.. This hotel seems to make additional revenue by collecting extra bed charges from their guest and by not providing any such services worst stay, worst hotel, not recommended. Waste of money.

They have variety of rooms. Just don't go with your first experience. During first visit they will provide you good rooms. If we just go with that hope, they will provide you a smaller room with window AC which is noisy. Not worth for money.

It's was Good One day Stay At Sree Bharani Hotels. The Ambience and Receiving was good. Room service was good.Preferred for Families too. Moderate price.

Booked deluxe room but was very small and extra bed (500 rs extra)will have only mattress and no cot. Was ok rooms . Room & restrooms was clean enough. if you stay for most of the day better book any other hotel.

Stayed here for 2nights Pure Vegetarian Hotel but taste is okay not great, and you can stay here only if you go for a higher AC package such as Executive, Premium etc. Dont go for Non AC or deluxe etc. They all go with Window AC and room smell will be stinky and rotten. Room service is ok but they wont pick calls at all. You have to call their reception twice and they will redirect it. Bit painful at times Hotel starts at 7:30 am only and Room service starts at 6:45am even for getting Hot water. Will be issue if you are the person who plan for a early trip. Executive suite room is ok but room is very dark and there is no proper ventilation at all. Final verdict, Go for Bharani Hotels if you dont get rooms in Janakiraman Hotel which is next building. Anycase have nice food at Janakiraman especially roof top for dinner. Must try their filter coffee :-)

Was there for a betrothal function. 1. The room provided had the worst smelling toilet, not cleaned. 2. The hall was booked for 120 people but could barely hold 40, and it was so hot because they had one functioning window AC. 3. The food did not have salt, and was way over priced for the quality.

Ok place to stay for a couple of days. The rooms were a bit small (not recommended for family). There was unnecessary sophistication in the room, which made it a bit of pain to use. The room service was non existent. But I liked their 24 hrs check in and check out facility. Their restaurant was also good.

Great hotel to stay in Tirunelveli My family who were on pilgrimage with count of 15 enjoyed staying in this hotel. I could not join but booked through online. Received good feedback Hospitality is awesome Food was delicious Staff were great

Being a vivid business traveller, I would strongly recommend Bharani hotel. Excellent service, spacious rooms, Service with a smile. Prompt response. They provide only "Delighters" and no " Dissatisfaction ". Value for money. I am still staying at the time of posting this.

Window AC was available in the room I had stayed and could have been replaced with split atleast. Staffs are very friendly, valet parking available and there is a veg restaurant in ground floor where we got a good coffee. Also, happy to know they still follow 24 hours checkout policy

We reached the hotel without expectations, booked standard AC rooms and the result was so amazed with the ambience, room features, on door help services. Food served in the hotel was good and it meets the target🎯. It suited well for our family and I would love to stay in this hotel in my upcoming trips.

Rooms are very well maintained and good. Only difficulty faced is car parking is in the nearby building. That to their staff will park our car in that place if we are interested otherwise we will go and park there. Only 100 meters from hotel. Veg restaurant is available in the premises. Lift available. In some rooms they provide locker facility.

First Of All, The room is very small for a Family of 4. Only 1 water bottle provided irrespective of no. of occupants. Room service is extremely poor. No one picks up the call. Breakfast was OK. The AC was too cold (even after adjusting) that we were forced to switch it off. The room isn't that clean. TV display was gone. The toilet flush wasn't working either. LOCATION is the only advantage.

An average place to stay in the city. A few minutes walk from the Railway station could take you here. Rooms are ok (Not great). An average bedding and amenities. Off course it's worth the money you pay. Cleanliness is a question mark (At least in some rooms). Food is fine but costly. Room service is average. No complementry for non AC rooms, not even water. On the whole an average hotel with average costing, except the food (Which is quite costly)

Good hotel with Veg Resturent, Hotel to stay , A Bar. And fully family environment . So one can enjoy based on requirement.

Dont get fooled by the photos they display. The rooms are very old fashioned and not clean. Better to look for someother stays nearby
