Today (16/11/2023 around 915 PMI had been to GRT hotel tirunelveli for dining ( dinner). Because of their food quality I always prefer to take food at GRT tirunelveli. Unfortunately last few visits I could see racisim while serving. That too if the customers are from abroad with white skin then u can be of sure that u will become an unwanted luggage. I think a girl who works in the restaurant (all time.with absent mind) will b the final nail for GRT 's coffin. PS:Though we can get very good tasty food, before getting to the hotel you should check foreigners availability in the restaurant.if u are able to spot them then better opt fasting instead wasting time at GRT restaurant.

Convenient place to stay in Tirunelveli town.very good behavior by the hotel staff. Very clean and hygienic hotel. All staff and catering staffs inside nadody hotel (which is situated in the first floor) are having very polite behavior. Recommended highly if u are planning trip to Tirunelveli. Good place to stay in tirunelveli. Room looked smaller, but was very comfortable. Rates are on a higher side, but was worth it. Cramped parking space managed really well by valet parking. Staff are genuinely very courteous, and want you to be comfortable. Excellent breakfast spread buffet. Dinner menu looks small, but enough to make you curious and try all the items over the duration of 4 days. Very near to bus stop, about 2.5 km from railway station. All in all my stay was very pleasurable, considering i did another 220km travelling around tirunelveli. Thanks.

Stayed with family few days ago. Accommodation was ok. But food was very expensive. Pros : 1.Very friendly staff 2.Front office was nice. 3.Hotel room was clean. 4.Check in and check out was smooth 5.Wallet parking was good. 6.Amneties was good. 7.Food served was good and tasty. Cons: 1.Don't you dare touch the snack packets and water bottles in the room reserved , they will cost you a fortune. All are chargeable. 2.Only thing we can take is Breakfast Buffet, which is complementary. 3.Ala Carte is also not appreciated 4.Ate food from outside hotel , many available nearby. 5.Heart patients don't even look at their menu.

Our stay at GRT Tirunelveli was quite pleasant. The room was comfortable. Special mention to the courteous and pleasant staff. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety and it all tastes really yummy. The only issue I had there would be the internet facility - if you are a working traveller, it would be difficult to manage and use the internet there as it’s restricted to one device. Otherwise, the experience was quite good. Would surely visit again.

The hotel is on main city area. With good parking facilities. I booked two rooms for 5 people online. I was told it will be adjacent rooms, but it was on different corridors in same floor. Restaurant food was very good. Service in restaurant was very good. Room service was very good. During check out it was very good service.

The stay at GRT was wonderful and comfortable. I was greeted by Mari Mam and was given a detailed review about the room options available. I was also told to reach her for any other queries, thanks to her. Furthermore, the room I had received was great and I enjoyed my stay. Also, the Complimentary Breakfast buffet had some good variety of options. I shall definitely visit again.

Went to the restaurant for lunch. Service was very good but food is not the usual taste you would anticipate in tvl. Biryani was more a mix of kerela plus our style and they had nuts in the biryani which was not appealing. Quite expensive for the food quality I think. Ambience is among the best in nellai and there's valet parking.

Great rooms, clean and comfortable. Prompt and courteous service by the staff at all levels. Food was good, but could have been better to add to the charm.

We had a very short stay. In Regency Well maintained, spacious rooms,clean bathrooms. Nominal food Rate. We booked 6 Rooms .Mr Prabakaran helped lot in coordination with my Guest all arrived in different timings. Polite and well mannered Staffs. Very Good complementary Breakfast. Hotel rooms was good, but the one staff who was at reception working on night shift was very rude during my checkin. This happened in April first week of this year. Hope these people get proper training on how to treat customers

Had a recent stay there for 8 days and felt disappointed with the service and food served by the hotel. The rooms were clean and overall cleanliness is good, very accessible from the main road.Some members of the staff are well behaved and gracious. My mother has a back problem and had difficulty getting up from the bed and the manager was kind enough to give a solution and some of the reception staff were well behaved. Food was not upto the standards I had in my mind, breakfast was mediocre. Dishes we ordered for dinner was disappointing.On the last day before checkout during breakfast the staff were least bothered to ask us for anything at all and I found myself very annoyed by the behaviour of the staff on many occasions. Overall if this weren't the only decent place to stay in tirunelveli, I would never recommend this place to anyone else

It is by far the most ergonomically pathetic design. The way the toilets and washroom are designed are totally un safe for senior citizens. It feels like the washroom and the beds are attached together. The entire night I couldn't sleep because of the clanking of plates in the restaurant. While taking bath the area is so small either your clothes for change will get drenched or that towel you carry. In the night if anyone goes to the washroom and flushes be ready to wake up others sleeping in the room. If there was an award for a bad design of rooms this would be number one. The staff however is good and courteous and the rest is not worth the money they charge. Do not be fooled by the GRT name. This is a very poorly designed uncomfortable room and avoid it. Better rooms available around

Every time I come to Tirunelveli, I love to stay at this hotel. Rooms are clean and the WIFI is exceptionally fast and reliable. Hotel Staff are kind. Free toiletries are wonderful. Complementary breakfast buffet is good that caters to the South Indian and Western Taste.

It was an excellent Stay. It's located in a good place to connect all nearby tourist attractions. Rooms & service is great. It's noteworthy to mention the food's taste and quality.

One of the best hotels in Tirunelveli for staying and for food. Rooms are excellent and slightly on a higher room rent but very good for business as well as family Had a great buffet dinner. Excellent spread and everything was tasty and fresh. Live dosa counter, egg roast, plenty of non-veg options, amazing desserts. Live music was great and they were playing nice 80's music by ilayaraja. They have a permit room. Parking is good and had a great stay. Service was outstanding and the check-in and check out experience was good.

Had a wonderful service. Mostly from securities, they took responsibility during rainy times like wow. I bought chain in Bangalore branch and it was broken recently. I gave it here and made it ready without any charges within two days.

Good location, which is close to junction. Rooms are decent and nice to stay. Unfortunately, the maintenance of bathroom accessories seems to be below average, and we can easily observe that the room maintenance is not regularly done. Staff's are very friendly and helpful to ensure that the guests are comfortable and safe.

We stayed in the suite rooms for 2 nights, the staff are absolutely amazing. Much better than hotels that carry 5 stars. The food is phenomenal too the morning breakfast which is included is simply amazing. This hotel deserves more attention than it already has very very highly recommended

Buffet rate is too high..you dont find much variety of food for buffet cost at 1500/- . Always our office dinner party will be arranged here. Everytime buffet dinner. Menu lists are mostly repeated items. 1 biryani item, chicken masala items will be there and grill chicken, 1 fish gravy item. And then for veg people, only dosa and 1 variety rice and white rice(sometimes). Rasam and 1 veg gravy. At last, gulab jamoon and icecream will be there.

best hotel in Tirunelveli for short stay and just located in heart of the city and having close proximity to all the shopping locations. need to use your room key for using lift and is rare security feature. Food is good on 1 st floor but bit costly. Note: Check prices of snacks placed in your room, They are charging too much for those items compared to market price.

Great service by the staff. The rooms were very cozy and nice. Stayed there for 2 days which was a pleasant stay. The restaurant there was pretty expensive with regards to the price, though breakfast is free. The food was really nice and tasty. It's a cycle theme based restaurant. The service for clients was good but our driver didn't get any good basic facilities, even parking needs to be improved as well as separate bathrooms with closings. We have to choose other hotels that offer the same service to customers and at least basic facilities to drivers.

Service in the restaurant has somewhat taken a beating post COVID. It has a good time to get dosa from live counter or some of the basic spreads in the buffet. Even if there are few people in the restaurant, you find the speed of delivery wanting. I am happy with the infrastructure, rooms, hygiene but restaurant has a lot to work upon. I travelled in the month of Jul 2nd week and stayed for 2 days.

I was really amazed to experience this kind of guest services in places like Thirunelveli. The service offered by Room attendant Anthony was finaminal...he was so much in detail with anticipating the needs of his guests...we don't have to ask for anything twice. Front desk manager Mr. Kanak raj was also very helpful. Food was great... definitely this hotel deserves five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice option to stay at Tirunelveli. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff and entire team are very polite. Laundry service is efficient. Restaurant food service needs to be speeded up as the waiting time is on higher side. Otherwise, all good!

Initially seemed like a bad choice when we got a twin bed accomodation for a family of 3 though we booked directly with the Hotel well in advance. Went for Lunch and they did not have a meal option when there was a rice craving. We expressed our concern before lunch and boom they checked us in to another, that restored my confidence. Over the next 2 days this turned out to be the best choice largely due to team there who courteous. Check/out in was super smooth. The room was spacious and more importantantly cleanly maintained. Food was delicious and we didnt venture out for local cuisine - loved especially the sodhikozambhu, bun parotta. Breakfast has a decent spread. All in all our first visit to Tirunelveli was memorable and we are grateful to the GRT Regency - Tirunelveli team for making our stay pleasant!

Hi,i want to give you an update about the GRT hotel that I booked via Make My Trip app. Today 5.11.2022- While Checking in I was denied entry to my room because I was a solo woman traveler from Chennai ,they denied me the check in and said you need a Chennai ID to get inside . To add more cherry on top of the cake, I was so denigrated by the staff because apparently he's a misogynistic guy who believe in discrimination against Single woman. I showed my Work ID, My Vehicle RC book with my Chennai Address, my Gas Bill. I told him it was illegal to deny me a room just because I don't have my Chennai Photo ID proof but his response and his general attitude was nothing short of misogynistic. I do not recommend this hotel.

Excellent service by all the staff, especially Mr. Satish at the reception. Buffet at the restaurant was very elaborate & good service by everyone especially. Ms.Suganya. Will definitely recommend to my family & friends.

Room Linen were stained and dirty. Food is good but expect delays. Staff needs to be more professional in handling guests. Other GRT hotels do a much better job.

Delighted with Services offered by front office & Resturant Staff. Clean & Hygienic Rooms, with live kitchen counter with authentic dishes on guest request prepared experienced Chef. Overall experience was very good. Recommend for friends & family wonderful time.
