Mutharamman is one of the eight Amman and prime Amman of the town. Dussera festival is familiarly celebrated here. More shops around. Easy to reach. Auto stand and frequent buses available. Annathanam daily.

Temple with presiding deity as Lord Shiva and Parvati in the name of Gyanamurthishwarar and Mutharamman respectively. Establishment of this temple has been in the suyambu form initially, later developed and constructed as a temple under the guidance of the lords themselves. Navaratri is celebrated with great enthusiasm in this temple apart from which Aadi (tamil month) Kodai is the special event that occurs in this temple. This temple is Renowned for getting our dreams and wishes turn into reality with the blessings of the Lord the supreme hence lakhs of people come together by observing fast during navratri. For a genuine review : I would recommend people to visit the temple and personally feel the level of positive vibrations that you get in the temple.

A Divine place situated abides the seashore. It's Dasara festival season. I see a huge crowd of people come to pray to Lord Mutharamman. People around Tamilnadu are attending this event every year. I went to this place while on my journey to Thiruchendur. I enjoyed a lot as well as spend time peacefully.

This temple is located at half hour drive distance from Thiruchendur, 15kms. We took an auto rental and visited from Thiruchendur main temple as we had time for our evening train.. temple opens at 4pm and Gnanamoorthy Eeshwarar and Mutharamman both are seen sitting and giving divine blessings to us. It’s a village and could see many locals during Tuesday’s and fridays! We went on a Tuesday and they said it’s special and very powerful place. Most visited during Dussehra festival they said, felt so happy and finished our Dharshan in 15mins. Must visit if ur planning to go to Thiruchendur!

Amazing temple . Visited for the first time in my temple.. The Amman was so powerful & with all love and kindness. The temple is maintained decently. Special darshan of Rs100 is very much on the higher side for normal days.Must visit place for getting divine blessing of mutharamman.Beach is walkable from the temple. Amazing beach and a great view. If the beach can be kept cleaned it can turn ito a high potential picnic spot.I have visited beaches in Thailand & this place is no less than that( cleanliness needs attention). I have added beach photos for reference

Lord Goddess Mutharamman temple is located some 10-15kms from Tiruchendur. Goddess Mutharamman is been worshipped for the baby desire. With hope and desire it's been worshipped the wishes will come true. There is an spritual belief that the couples tie a small Thottil in the tree near by temple for their desire comes true. Must visit if visiting Tiruchendur lord Murugan temple.

Need to improve a lot with toilets. Had a very bad experience. One lady controlling pay toilets for both gender. She was seated in front of the lady's section and for male just next to it, which was locked. She allows ladies but male she refused even I ready to pay. She says, "Others use it without paying if I allow you." Ladies complained that the toilet was so dirty and too smelly. Pay toilets are very rare to find.

It's a great experience, The temple was very clean and neat with holiness but outside was fully covered with waste materials thrown by visitors and the shopping activities, More shops and a number of various economical activities increased the waste quantity. Temple experience was fabulous

Now the temple have have many restrictions. Friday to Sunday no people are not allowed for temple area side. Monday to Thursday only allowed they have two way to darshnam in temple, one is free darshnam another one is 100rs payable darshnam. After pooja holiday no restrictions in that place. Mutharamman is very powerful god in this surrounding area.

One of the temple which maintains only free darshan which is really good. Still they give preference for Senior citizens and medical support required people which is fair one. Though its small temple, could feel the positive vibes.
