Aravindalochanar Perumal Temple in Tholavillimangalam, a village in Thoothukudi district in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu, is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. It is located 22 km from Tirunelveli. Constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is glorified in the Divya Prabandha, the early medieval Tamil canon of the Azhwar saints from the 6th–9th centuries AD. It is one of the 108 Divyadesam dedicated to Vishnu, who is worshipped as Aravindalochanar and his consort Lakshmi as Karunthadankanni.Sthal .The temple is also classified as a Navatirupathi, the nine temples revered by Nammazhwar located in the banks of Tamiraparani river. Along with the Devapiran temple located 100 yards away, the temple is referred as Irattai Tirupathy (meaning twin Tirupathis). This temple is a Rahu Sthalam.

Very well maintained. Opens at 9:00 and closes by 5:30. You may see many peacocks. The temple is in a lush green Delta. So the roads are narrow and winding.

One of the Nava Tirupati temples. One can cover all the nine Perumal temples before noon time. Afternoon, if required, can go to Tiruchendur and return to Tirunelveli before evening.

The divine experience you can feel here. There are lot of people have worshipped daily to get sort out all their health and wealth issues and obviously they got what they requested from the Almighty Lord Vishnu. Every person should visit this temple atleast once in lifetime... Kneel infront of Lord Vishnu... He won't let you alone...

My family and I recently visited this temple It was a great experience overall - the temple was beautiful and we had a great time. However, while we were there, we had the pleasure of encountering some uninvited guests - peacocks. These animals had made their home near the temple grounds and were out in force, adding to the beauty of the temple. It was wonderful to see these creatures. All in all, it was a great time. The temple was lovely and the peacocks were a delightful addition to the experience. I highly recommend the temple to anyone looking for a great experience.

We were traveling from Telangana, and did not know the local language. The temple opening times of each of the temples changes each day/ week. In every pamphlet / temple timings are given. A temple was to open at 8 am, they opened at 11. So, it's a long wait unless you book a guide who is linked with an agency. They keep in touch with the priests and will plan your trip accordingly. The temples, the architecture, the sculptures are amazing.

The sage Subramanian plowed and cultivated the earth to make a sacrifice. Then he got a scale and a bow from the ground. The scales became a woman and the bow became a man and they were freed from their curse. Ithalam got the name Tulavillimangalam as the bow and the scales (scales) were saved in this revision. Currently known as Maruvi Tolavilli Mangalam. As Rahu is located in the Navagraha, people with Rahu doshas in the horoscope, those with chronological yoga, those affected by marriage, and son-in-law can come here and worship so that Rahu's influence is lessened and they can achieve what they want in life. If you come to this place called Double Satisfaction and get the money, property, material, financial, obstacles removed, get rid of the troubles of diseases and overcome the prayers, you can become a saint and get a peaceful life if you do whatever prayers are required.

One of the Navathirupathi Temples Vishnu is worshipped as Aravindalochanar and his consort Lakshmi as Karunthadankanni. Offering prayer at this temple is equivalent to offering prayer to shadow celestial body Rahu.
