Very beautiful church situated at a small fishing town. Standing tall with incredible architecture. Statues have an amazing perfection and soberly painted to add to the beauty. It would come as a surprise when walk around the streets of small houses and this magnificent construction struck your eyes. Couldn't get there opportunity to walk inside to shoot but of course another day... for sure..

Holy and mind blowing .very calm and cool place.3 sides of this church is surrounded by sea.And its situated above some height from sea level.And its view of sea from the church is cool.Rooms are available in church at a cost of 250.Holy mass starts at 6 am every mrng.

Such a beautiful place. During vacation people who come to Tiruchendur never return without visiting this heart healing place. Welcomes every people with salty and cool breeze during winter. It really has a great view around. But it will be unbearable to handle summer heat though.

I always wanted to visit Manapad and finally i managed to visit this place with family. I always got to see many Tamil films being shot in Manapad so i ensured i visit this place. Neerparavai and Singham are two well known movies shot here. The churches are magnificent and the architecture just wonderful. The beaches, the light house, the lagoon, the wrecked boat, the sand dunes and the colonial architecture and colora used are breathtaking. Parrots and Peacock-hen abound. Less staying options but we managed to stay in a home stay after a lot of research. Surfing is safe and a must try for the young and old and kayaking can be tried for the not very brave. From here you can visit Kanyakumari and enroute you can visit a number of churches as well. A must see place. Tiruchendur is the big town closest to Manapad.

This church is built before 500 years... St Xaviers himself had payed a visit here... There's a well near the beach...the water there doesn't taste salty

One of the best scenic drive and cleanest beaches in down south worth the visit to old Colonial church which still holds it charm.

Wow, it's really a natural landscape painting created by god. You will be surprised by the beauty of this place. I enjoyed it very well. Furthermore, Kadal and Mariyan movies were filmed here. Don't forget to visit the beach backside of the Church. The church is quite peaceful and huge enough to be mesmerized.

This church is located 30km from Tiruchendur and close to 60km from kanniyakumari. One of the oldest church. Beautiful location and awesome view. Church location has a light house in it. If ur travelling by local transportation u can reach by bus to manapadu from there u can reach to church by auto. Or u can hire a cab from Tiruchendur. Fully surrounded by sea. And this is one of my favorite place in Tamil nadu. If ur near Tiruchendur or kanniyakumari don't ever miss this place.
