A beautiful temple, where Lord Murugan stayed with Goddesses Valli in the cave. The temple was built from the cave . Still they are maintaining the tradition. This is the only temple for Lord Murugan and Goddess Valli . This place was called as Alliyur in 9th century. This temple has a great history. This temple is apt for GIRIVALAM , that’s is coming around the hill.

Vallyoor subramannya swami temple. This old Murugan sanctuary is situated at Valliyur, close Nanguneri, not a long way from Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari. It's a beautiful temple, and our ancestral temple. Unfortunately they have imposed a weekend lockdown now and so we are unable to visit it inspite of planning.. Hopefully, Lord Murugan will call us and bless us with his darshan here quickly. Finally after around 2 months from my above review, we came here today and just had a great darshan.. Very less crowd... Very beautiful temple.. Very well maintained now and I noticed a lot of renovations.. Peaceful and divine. Feel very happy and blessed 🙏🙏🙏

Beautiful cave temple. Goes back to many decades where my ancestors were integral to the operations of the Temple. Must visit for anyone who goes to Tirunelveli. The temple tank and the trees around it with flocks of birds are a sight !

The temple is very nice..I had saw lots of marriage in the temple.they were registered the name of bride and groom and also collect I'd proof of the both families members as well as witnesses without any expectations. After that bride will tie the mangalasutra to groom.. .It was nice to see the different customs of the marriage...

Peaceful place for worship and prayers. It's a small rock temple, quite place for meditating and morning prayers. There are mini bus services available to reach. During special days the temple attracts more devotees. Please help in keep the temple premises clean and neat.

A beautiful Cave temple for Murugan. These town name itself tell that God Valli's place. Near this area related to Murgan Valli are Nambiyan vilai, Nambi koil, Nambi river.... Arunagiri nather sing poem on this Murugan. Very very old temple. Temple have one pond for theppam and another big one for people use. Many people round these hill with temple as like Thiruvannamalai.
