A very calm and peaceful place. They are maintaining the temple and atmosphere well. We need to pay for the parking, enough spacing is available. There are few shops in the downhill where we can buy flowers etc.

A relatively small Murugan temple in the heart of Thindal. Very neatly kept temple. From the main car parking one has to climb around 100 steps to reach the temple. There is also a small way, where car can go for people who can't climb the steps. Parking fee is 20 Rs. The main deity is lord Murugan. There is also a seperate shrine for muruga and his two concerts. There is also a Vinayagar shrine. The corridor around the temple is quite broad. A peaceful place. I am not aware of the history of the temple, but it is a relatively new temple.

God Murugan is always famous for his own malai temple. That’s wat we do have two hill temples for him. One is chennimalai and other we do have is Thindal malai. Famous temple and all murugan temples have thanga thaerottam which is a significantly known. It Wil give such a positive vibe on visiting during this times. It Will happen at evening 7 PM and people who arrange for it will be able to pull it. Visit the temple for peace and good vibe !!!!

Loved visiting this temple. It was very peaceful and serene. It was clean and well maintained as well. It was less crowded, and people could take their own time to enjoy the environment away from hustle and bustle on the ground. One of the best temples I've visited in Tamil Nadu. Would love to visit this temple again. Temple is also accessible for people who can't climb stairs through a ramp path on the side.

Arulmigu Velayuthaswamy Thirukovil alias Thindalmalai Murugan Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Murugan, located on Thindalmalai hillock near Erode. The primary deity is Sri Velayudhaswami. The temple houses a golden chariot Temple Car, used to carry images of gods in ceremonial processions. It is about 7 km from Central Bus stand at Swastik Circle, 8 km from Erode Junction. The Temple is well connected to by local buses running in-between Central Bus Terminus and Perundurai.

Nice place to visit with family. It has 108 steps to reach the temple. Tuesday, Saturday lot people prefer to visit ,so on those days it will be crowded. We can pray calmly. Since it has space around the temple, we can also bring kids where they will like .

This temple has Shanmukha/Murugan, a golden chariot, Ganesha at the entrance, Idumban. There are 2 entrances - one for ppl wool can climb the stairs and the other for ppl coming by car. Even by car, you can only cover few steps and you might have to climb 25-30 more steps to reach the temple. Surroundings are very calm and peaceful. This temple also has a Kalyana mantapa/thirumana mandapam.

Thindal Murugan Temple has changed a lot over a period of time. Now, this is quite serene and so clean. Donations are being used wisely I believe. And they have a huge space to do pooja for your new/existing vehicles.

Whoever likes nature, likes peace too and vice-versa. This is the right place. Every temple has built for many reason to boost the mankind like positivity, peace, silence, energy, etc,. In this way, you will get all together here. And one more which is breeze. It is small hill with lot of plantains one feel the peace with breeze. This place is neat, clean and periodically maintaining. Flower and other accessories shops are very near to the temple to buy. The place has good parking facility. Nice place to visit. It's not a promotion, it's my experience.
