Good place for children to be fun here. Place is well maintained. Most of our people go here to have their good over here because it has good place to sit and have good. Good grass lands and varandas to be seated. Children can play here very happily. Some of couple shooting can be done here and good place for them too... Monkeys are here do be careful while having food but they are disturbing our meals much. As I have gone here in this July 2021 it is being COVID19 time the Park is not with water in those canals here for the view. A big drawback here is not well maintained Rest rooms. Management have to keep it in their priority list as it is being such a important and public place .

Good park for the childrens. Can spent half day over here. All childrens activities and play areas available in this park. Small pedal boating can be availed in this park. Park maintanence to be done.

This is one of a good place to enjoy with our family and friends. Parking facility- a big space is there for car parking infront of the dam park. In between a road goes. If Parking will be full, we can use to park with the road sides. So many hotels are there in roadways. They are selling food with dam fish fry. If u want u may. No shops inside of the park. So if u want any snacks and food, you can buy outside and we can take in the park. Entrance of the park, we want to buy tickets to enter the park. The cost is only 5 rupees. Superb and good 👍. Water facility available always. So many water pipes are there for external use only. So many chairs and benches are there to sit and take rest under the trees. Boating 🚢 🚣‍♂️ 🛶 available for adults and kids. Has need and clean. More games are there for kids and adults.

Bhavanisagar Dam or Lower Bhavani Dam, is located in Erode district, Tamil Nadu, India. The dam is constructed on the Bhavani river. It is one of the world's largest earthen dams. Good place to spend the weekend. Entry fees is ₹5 per adult for park. It's not maintained after COVID. We can see dam from park and kids will enjoy. Outside the park many food stalls available for fish fry and other fish items at reasonable price.

We went there on 10-09-2022.The park has a vast area. But it is not maintained well. I can say no maintenance at all. Entry fee was 5 rupees ( for above 3 years of age) on 10-09-2022. So i say it is a good place for the entry fee of 5 rupees. We can not go on top of bhavani sagar dam. Just a sight from nearby is possible. There are some slides and Swings for children which was good. Also we can take food inside and eat as family together or friends together. So i recommend to go to the park with family or friends if you are staying nearby or passing through sathyamangalam.

Very big dam. While travelling from Sathyamangalam to Coimbatore we can see this dam from the road. It has a very beautiful view. Park is also nice. This is a very big area and road is travelling along with the length of the dam for 2-3 kms it seems.

Good.. Many shelter sheds are newly constructed... So many paid raids or games for kids.. Fish fry must try.. TN govt stall is selling dam dish at lower prices.. Overall great place but too hot during day..

Peaceful environment, Beautiful scenery, Clean and well maintained. A good place to enjoy your weekend with your family.

- There is a park near by, if you go with childrens can spend time there. - More eatable shops are available there (icecream, manhi with chilly powder, watermelon, etc). But the highlight is there are many hotels offers fried fish (missed to take a picture) - Usually they dont allow us to walk on the dam top. We are allowed to see the dam from the park and near by bridge. - We got a special permission and visited at the top of the bridge, it is very long than i imagined (around 7 Kms roads there), we can enjoy water stagnant view from there, also can able to see mountains (I think it is ooty) from there. Very nice view.

Nice village,it is surrounded with natural beauty of nature..all side mountain range...it really nice to visit ..many hiden historical places and waterfall and Elephant river,Horse river is available in this village

Place is good ... Dam are closed when water level is high... Only park open and with entry fee Rs.5/- ticket price for person. Nothing much there ... You can enjoy fresh fish here .. But select shop correctly, some shops near park charge high for fish or food....

Good place for spent time with family and relaxing place. Park is not maintained clean now days 😒. In the Park area so many bottles and papers and water foundation is not working. Dam top view not permitted now days.

The place looks OK for children, some games for them here. However if you want to visit above the dam, then you would be upset since the administration has locked the entry above.

Atmosphere good but maintenance need to improve, not maintain properly

They charge very less for the park and don't maintain it properly. We are not allowed to go up the stairs and see the dam. The campus was very dirty. The fish/dry fish stalls on the road were smelling so bad. Not sure how people are eating there. The place needs better maintenance and cleaning

Good for children. you will get great dam view from park.park maintenance is not good.. Management should consider this. Toilets are available all over park.. outside of the park you will get Fish fry..

An average place to visit if you have more free time. The atmosphere is okae and we cannot enter to the top. The place not not very well maintained.

Average Children park and Dam with seperate parking lot. Currently, they are not allowing to visit the dam. This park has small boat ride and lot of child activities. Better place for family and can enjoy with dam foods.

Located in sathiyamangalam bhavani Sagar dam is a good place for all age groups,friends and family..on the roadside food stalls mainly marine foods and rarely fruit salad and corn is available..the entrance fee is 5 per person there is a children's park with many activities including dragon wheel circus swing available..keezh bhavani is a delight to eye ..if you are lucky you can see water birds in it and do visit in evening for the cool breeze..and hydroelectric power is also generated here

Hmmm ,not so good , but it won't disappoint you ...can spend 1 to 2 hours with ur family ...don't expect much

Nice place to visit with kids and family to spend time. They have small games like baloon shooting, toy train, boating etc which are paid.

Quite good place but there is an stagnant water it smells very bad and there is more bacteria in it . Not maintained properly. Some were playing in stagnant water it can cause some diease so see to it . Must visit dam park . Its towards bannari road . 10km to reach bannari and 20km to reach tengumarahata.

Great place to visit with kids ...... many many happy swings slides and other statues to see..... maintenance is the only thing they have to maintain.

The park is quite big with clean restrooms. We can have a good view of the dam

Park inside the dam is not maintained, entry ticket is 5rs above 3yrs. On festival days public is not allowed. The road on top of dam is not accessible for public. Would be a great park if it's maintained. Opposite of dam you will have multiple shops for fish fry . Good to try the fish fries occasionally..

This is a children's park near to the dam. Ambiance of the pack awesome. I enjoyed there by going walking the area of this park is large with canteen inside allmost I have spent 1-2 hours inside the park. Everyone can visit this place and enjoy your day there 😎

Old and beautiful dam.. the gates were not opening when visited.. bit disappointed 😞.. had fish fry pieces though.. taste was yummy 🤤😋

Nice place to chill with family... To have a good fresh fish but one thing u can't get the fresh fish in all the road shop.. So while choosing the slot, choose wisely.. The dam construction wrk and park maintainance is very good and unbelievable construction..
