Just surreal !! It's worth a stop by after sunset. The city lights of Mettupalayam will amaze you !! Be aware if it's weekend then parking is tight and lots of traffic jam. People drive haphazardly.

We don't have a proper parking but the view is amazing. You will never feel like leaving this place. You will get a bird's eye view of city below. When you are going down make sure you stop and view it, you will not regret it.

Amazing view point... You will have wonderful view of mettupalayam from here even more beautiful in night times, make sure its just a view point nothing more to explore can have some beautiful view of the city... it's definitely one of the best view point across the state....if you got a good camera you can take some beautiful pictures from this viewpoint....

Train services from Mettupalayam to Ooty hill station resumed after two days. These services were suspended, owing to heavy rains in Tamil Nadu...

Nothing much to see here. At night you can see the city lights. We were here during the day so it was quite warm.

Best view point, it's located few kms before kothagiri. If you are travelling by bike you can chill for a few minutes here.

A nice pit-stop whether you are going up & returning back. You can find lot of friendly monkeys there . The view was really nice. Two wheeler can be parked right in the spot & the cars can be parked in the opposite side of the road. You can find some vendors on their vehicle selling snacks.

This is a view point on the way to kotagiri from Mettupalayam. If you can reach here by 5am . You can catch a breathtaking sunrise. Beware of monkeys that come once the sun is up. It's about an hour's drive from Coimbatore early in the morning.

Rating this unmonitored place middle of jungle ghat section is of no use. The view is great! Night View is also great! The people, we abuse the place! May be placing a surveillance camera could help us from the sinister youths who have an opportunity to break the bottles, drink (alcohol), pee and abuse in many other ways they could! It's a government property, so which they have an advantage to write a board with strong message & fine.

Good view of Mettupalayam, really a nice place to stop in between a way to kothagiri. Could park two wheeler on road side and took good photos, but parking a car should be careful.

This is a great spot in the mornings and night too. I often go on drives to kothagiri and this mettupalayam view point is actually a good spot. But as this place is situated before the checkpost u could often find people drinking and smoking at midnights at this place. If this is a no no for u please don't visit here at that time and if it's ok and your completely chill with it pls doo visit the ppl are often friendly and they be vibin to songs and all. With the view and that vibe and if u like it yeah go for it.

I just can't leave the spot i wish to stay longer.. Please stop at this point when you travel at night towards mettupalayam and kotagiri ooty route.. The view was super good. But its not safe to get out of vehicle since vehicles are coming and going. If you wanna enjoy the spot from the top hill view yes you can, but be more safe with the heavy vehicles crossing that side

Mettupalayam View Point is an awesome scenic spot to stop by on your way to Kotagiri. Since government buses that operate to Kotagiri do not stop here, this location can only be reached by private vehicles. This place is maintained by the Tamil Nadu government, who have renovated it by placing iron grills to prevent people from slipping and falling. Mettupalayam view point is worth visiting because of the picturesque beauty of Mettupalayam town and the ghats. The sight is even more stunning at night, shining with all the lights of Mettupalayam town.

Excellent location and atmosphere. Located in Mettupalayam to Kotagiri route. This is located very near to Kunjappanai bus Stop.From here, you can see the Mettupalayam city, Bhavani River, Othimalai Andavar temple Hill (Murugan temple). Also you can see the dense forest and other hills. Here somany Monkeys are there.

Best place to spend time after 7pm City lights is a good visual.

Nice view of entire mettupalayam town. Very clear & direct view. Only one thing disappointing is the entire are is not that clean. Lots of plastics thrown, wastes etc. It should be maintained properly. Government can plan something that helps the tourism. But nothing is happening. The view point is located in between sharp curves, so be careful while parking your vehicle and crossing the road.

Not an extraordinary place, but u can view the city of Metupalayam and Bhavani dam.

Do you need to sit alone and enjoy the view. This is the best place on the way to kotagiri.

Good place, while going up you can park the vehicle on right side since it has more space. It situated near a curvey road so you should be careful while crossing the road. Also lot of monkeys over there so b careful while getting down. At the end you can get good view of the city from this place.

There are lot of monkeys around this place so better be careful if you are travelling in a car. Otherwise this is a wonderful view point. A must visit place. We cannot find any snacks / tea vendors around this place is the only disappointment.

Here you can see only view point of mettupalayam. So don't expect more than that. You can just relaxing for 10 to 15 minutes.now they constructed with iron grilling wall not to fall and also good for children's safety. Only three to four two-wheelers can park inside the place,but t there is no parking car.You can keep side of the place.
