Peaceful place. Visited several times during college days. They conduct art exhibition on regular basis. Must visit place for art lovers. They have ample space for car parking. The gallery is well maintained. They have a theatre for performance too.

They had various collections of art, and all the paintings were so beautiful, especially the ground-floor paintings, I was accompanied by one of their employees and he explained most of the paintings and the stories behind them and it was very helpful to understand them better. They also had textile-related evolution scenes. Photography was not allowed. It was all clean and well-maintained.

The place is iconic and has a good collection but I think it needs to improve and present itself a little better in terms of new age. The auditorium needs to improve.. the lighting and sound is a bit sad.. if it improves I think more shows and more events can happen here..

This museum has many valuable art works , but most of them have no enough explanation which make stranger towards feels like boring. The museum also lack proper guide to explain history of everything. The textile history is explained over it's machineries. Don't expect any sort of variety of textile to be exhibited there. Overall the place can take 1 hour tour

It's a decent, small museum. The textile part of the museum is informative and the displays are significant. The Art Collection is nice but a large part of it is prints of the original works. I wish more people would see this. It needs a bit of support. The displays haven't been updated for several years - probably because of the low number of visitors.

Small Ac hall. I've been here 8 years back where the maintenance was good ag that time. But when I've visited recently the hall was good the bathroom was awfull and they don't have a dining area. The basement is used to serve refreshments which looks unpleasant.

This is a private art gallery but does not require any entry fee to view. It would take 2 hours of your time to view calmly but it's totally worth it.

Going by the name we had high hopes since this is Coimbatore and given its relationship with the textile industry we thought we would see the history of how this industry developed with live working models of looms and hopefully a guide to give walk/talk thru. But they mostly have pictures of various looms with some models and in not so great condition. The place also doubles up as an Art Gallery and it was a good experience. If you are in Coimbatore for a short stay, I would not say this is a must see!

Excellent collection and excellent arrangements. Never miss the opportunity to visit here. I think the authority should collect fees from the visitors and that should be used for the maintenance.

The Culture Centre consists of an Art Gallery, a Textile Museum, an Auditorium and a library. The Art Gallery is to your right and the Textile Museum on the left. There are about 10 rooms in the center that contains only art ranging from the Indian art to the European art. The textile museum in the Culture Centre brings together a chronological portrayal of the growth of the textile industry. Models of charkhas, spinning and knitting machines, a wide selection of stitches, weaves and knits, and displays donated by personal collectors makes the museum a must-see on the itinerary of travellers and textile enthusiasts. The center is open from morning till evening, and there are no pre-set timings. There is no entry fees. Many cultural events and art display happens in the auditorium and in the art gallery respectively. One will an awesome experience here by knowing various aspects of art and culture of India and Europe.

Good for children above 8 or 9 years For a museum, it is really huge. The trust should be complimented for the noble and expensive efforts in running this. May some small changes done and little more funds are ploughed in to increase footfall. If the periodic textile related exhibits / events being done in local star hotels are attracted to this gallery to improve cash flow. Addition of some demos in the museum and unique play equipment outside will make young children like this place. After all educating young generation may have been one of the primary objectives in establishing the gallery
