This place name is highly misleading and people think it's a Dam view point. But actually this is just a normal road in middle of forest area and there is no view point. There is a board stating Bhavani Sagar dam view point in 100 metres from current Google location. But nothing to see. To view real dam view just search for Bhavani Sagar only. The fotos added to this place is also incorrect. They are actually in Bhavani Sagar dam fotos and not the view point location.

We went there on 10-09-2022.The park has a vast area. But it is not maintained well. I can say no maintenance at all. Entry fee was 5 rupees ( for above 3 years of age) on 10-09-2022. So i say it is a good place for the entry fee of 5 rupees. We can not go on top of bhavani sagar dam. Just a sight from nearby is possible. There are some slides and Swings for children which was good. Also we can take food inside and eat as family together or friends together. So i recommend to go to the park with family or friends if you are staying nearby or passing through sathyamangalam.

Bhavanisagar dam is located on the erode district in the satyamangalam tiger reserve forest area..65 year old dam.. orgin of water is starting from the upper bhavani in Nilgris district.
