If you are a Kaalan Lover, which you will be, living in Coimbatore, Mirchi Chaats is the place that you have to eat it in. You'll see actual pieces of Kaalan unlike the cornflour you will eat in most places. (No offence! It's still good!). But Mirchi Chaats is on another level. I think it's got to do with the owner's / chef's hospitality skills as well. It's located in a parking spot which lets you conveniently park, eat and go. It's a definite Kaalan spot for us. So try! 🌻

Very poor customer handling and response 👎🏻 Felt very bad during the visit.. Ordered chicken momos, dhai puri, egg puffs and mushroom bhel.. waited almost 30+mins for receiving our order mushroom bhel.. we informed and waited almost 30+ mins for order.. then cancelled the particular item and irresponsible by the staff who wer in the counter and causally stating that you’re order hand over to someone that’s why late and bla bla bla.. not even apologised for the mistake Worst experience and not looking forward to visit again

We make it a point to go here at least once for an evening snack every time we visit Coimbatore. The masala has a unique and amazing taste and more often you end up finishing your dinner here as you cannot stop with just one dish.

My favorite Dahi Poori, Kalan. Little costly but worthy. 2 & 4 Wheeler parking available but you can't sit and eat all times. Limited Chairs. Swiggy delivery available.

Google showed incorrect timing and we reached the place just when it was actually about to close. Only a few items were available and we had to choose a few for parcel. But the person excellently handled the situation . He gave us some samplers and suggested we order dahi papdi chaat instead of dahi puri being very courteous and apologetic for the incorrect timing. We were very impressed both by the taste and the way he handled the situation. Looking forward to trying this place again by visiting a bit earlier.

Simply love the taste of kaalan (mushroom). I have tried all the menu with my family everything was great. Price wise i felt little over priced on all the menu by 30-40% compare to other chat shops. I feel its worth for the taste. During take away the packing was really good. I am a non native person. I do visit mirchi chats whenever I visit cbe.
