Irrigates over 15,000 acres with its 56 mile long canal. Currently under renovation by Tamilnadu government since 2016. Site is closed.

Very old check dam. Maintained by Public work department. Pubic are not allowed inside the check dam area when we visited. Not sure they would allowed inside the park area. We saw from outside.. the outside is not clean and dirty one. Only local people were there.
