Very good one day picknic spot, family outing place. They provide good veg and non veg food for the tickets we purchase online. Welcome sauku cofee, parisal boating 30 to 40 min, lunch, and river bath. Safe and secure place. Near and clean. Must reach before 9.45 am and can be there till 5pm sharp. From Karamadai (coimbatore) , 42 km to Baralikadu. (Pillur dam) Till check post road is good, from there roads are not good. Adult 550, kids till 13 yrs 450 Online ticket booking only. Open only on Saturday and Sunday

Awesome place for a weekend drive. Climate was excellent. Though we were not able to take bath in the river due to the water force recommend to visit this place. Need to book online else will not be allowed. Forest officer was very friendly and appreciate his hospitality. They provide lunch cooked by locals and food was very tasty.

Place is good. It may be a new and wonderful experience for first time visitors. Road is very bad but doable through big vehicles. Earlier they take you in that small boat for 1and half hours. Now they do only 45 minutes. Food is very traditional and good. But they serve it at 1:45 PM which may be very late for diabetic people. We had to wait for almost 2 hours before food arrived. River bath was in a amazing place. Little risky because its Elephants daily path way and we can see their poop all over the place.Overall a good Experience for a days trip.

It's a beautiful place. If you are planning to visit baralikadu you need to book in advance. It's situated inside the forest the pathway was so thrilling & full of trees. The food provided was good. The parical ride was awesome. Also the river bath place is too good. It's a good place to spend time with your family and friends.

Worth spending day if you like being with nature! We have to pre-book the tickets in forest dep website. From Karamadai we have to pass two forest checkpost to reach Baralikadu. They welcome us with sukku coffee followed by an one hour coracle ride. One can enjoy the beautiful sight and the experience. Lunch will be provided which was decent. Clean drinking water and restroom for women was available. After the lunch the forest official will guide us to a beautiful place where we can play in the river. Good picnic spot near Coimbatore.

This is nature lover's paradise!! However, the roads are pretty bad inside the forest. Be sure to book tickets online before commencing the journey. Google "Baralikadu Ecotrouism" for online booking.

Great experience boating in the coracle and bathing in Bhavani river. Lunch is good; sukku coffee excellent! However, approach road can be improved and sign boards for hairpin bends need to be placed on the uphill climb and downhill roads approaching the boating area. Otherwise, a really fun activity.

Nice place to visit with family and friends . If you are ready to go means you have need permission from forest officers. You have pay only the entry fees that includes everything like boating cost trekking.They start with welcome drink they will take care of everything including food ..

Good place managed by the forest department with support of local Tribal people. They are so friendly and were so accomodative. The food was good, The Coracle ride was super and the river bath was wonderful. A good place for Coimbatore for a day out with children👶👧👦. The drive was also a good experience from coimbatore with a couple of hair-pin-bends...

A wonderful place hidden in the tiger reserve and operated by the forest range officers and local tribe, open on Saturdays and Sundays to keep the foot count manageable and keep the spot clean. A lovely tranquil place with coracle ride and simple tasty lunch served by the tribal of the area. A good place for a weekend getaway by yourself or with family and friends. Rs 600 per person a steal for what is at offer. Before you leave, you get to have a bath in the river 10 kms away. But, worth the ride. Warning....do look out for wild animals as you drive, especially elephants! I rode my bike, suffered a puncture and was so thankful to the locals who helped me get out before night fall.

Enjoyed the scary jungle ride. After seeing elephant dung we were scared to continue the journey. Roads are the worst. Officers have taken care in the parisal ride and in the bathing river point. Lunch is awesome. You can enjoy a day with family.

Lovely place to spend a day with family. Had a memorable time with hospitality, coracle ride, awesome lunch. Only concern was the river where they took us post lunch. We had to travel a long offroad travel to reach there, which could have been planned near bridge itself.

Need to book in advance, there is a baralikadu reserv forest govt website. Open only on weekends & public holidays I would highly recommend for family hangout, food is very good and river bath and coral drive on pillur dam is superb experience All you get it in 600rs.. Point to Note: Need to book in advance in govt website, otherwise you can't go past checkpost Need your own or rental Vehicle, better to have vehicle with good ground clearance (around 15km would be off road drive) Roads are very good and if you like to do driving then you will enjoy the drive (so many curves and steep bends)

Good weekend getaway spot to spend time in the forest. Completely organized by forest officials. Not allowed for river bath due to flood at that time. Lunch was very good. Note that, way to Baralikadu from Karamadai is hill road with hairpin bends for some distance.

The Lake surrounded by mountains and the Parisal ride are really good. Last 8 kms of approach road to Baralikkadu is quite bad. Lunch served is OK ( Spicy). For river bathing people are asked to go 10 kms away , the last few kms of the road is horrible, car's suspension can get damaged. We returned halfway without going to the river. We are told that the visit provides livelihood to a villages/tribals in that area, that is a consolation.

An amazing experience in nature. Admist greenary a total refreshing day spent with kids and friends. We'll organised schedule to start with boating in round boat ......local people are employed to have an insight of place. Kudos to their efforts in making boating experience safe and fun at the same time. Not forgetting to mention the merry go round experience people shouting and ending their boat journey with happy and grateful faces. Booking includes lunch and it was yummy native preparation and unforgettable memories of taste buds satisfied admist nature. Last but not the least waterfall and the therapy of water both musical and physically touching our body to heal and rejuvenate soul. Thank you so much (Sir who recommended and guided us )for such a natural refreshment .

Excellent place for getaway weekend. Just be aware of huge traffic and road diversions due to construction. Food served by the forest department is excellent Water is clean and clear. All Greenery was beautiful.

Wonderfully organised by the forest department. The forest officer was there with us throught . Compulsory Life jackets and patrol coracles provide additional safety. Food provided , from welcome drink to lunch , by the tribal women self help group was hygienic ,fresh and tasty. A scenic place to spend a day with friends and family

picnic spot is open to public only on Saturdays and Entry fees is 500 per head The timing is 10 am to 5 pm. Yu can reach by 10 they I'll start coracle ride by 11 untill that u can swing for those who wanna have fun for a day u can visit. And Ride takes a hr yu can enjoy the view surrounded by greenary which is so pleasant and also u can see pillur dam aft coarcle ride the food is spread on a buffet table however, the women folks offer to serve the food. The food is mainly rural type both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food are served.
