A great place to visit. Well maintained and the ambience is special. Recommend to stay at least one night to really enjoy the calm and peace. Adiyogi statue is indeed a marvel. A calming experience. The place we stayed in, Shivapadam, seemed to be a new building which needs better service. There was no way to contact the reception from the room.

Once in Lifetime, Everyone must experience this divine. I volunteered in all activities like #Savesoil and Ashram for 1 week. I have completed my Inner engineering which helped me to feel my inner sense. The natural era is speculated, Mind-blowing and much needed. Do visit this Isha Ashram and get yourself unified. 🏕️ In Isha foundation/ Isha yoga ashram there are 2 major attractions - Adi Yogi - Dhyana Lingam 📸 Camera and photos are allowed only at Adi Yogi statue, that is the reason we can see only adiyoga when ever we search for Isha foundation Whereas Phones, cameras and any other electronic gadgets, luggage bags even hand bags of women are not allowed inside... Due to this we can never find photography of dhyaan Lingam and its surroundings in Internet 🕍 People who visit for first time to Isha spend more time near Adi yoga and later after visiting Dhyana Lingam they feel bad for not having time ⭐ At Dhyana Lingam - Timings - 6.00 Am to 8.00 pm At the entrance, All the visitors will be checked before granting entry inside . The place is quite large - As soon as we enter we see many stalls on to our Left where we can buy food and juices 🥤🧃, Isha products, and Trousers, towels and shirts shop for people who like to have bath in Holy water inside (Surya khund & Chandra khund) After walking for 200m we get Chappal stand and big restaurant with coffee/tea at Rs.10 and basic tiffins like idly, dosa, uttapam at Rs 20 Wash rooms for Ladies and gents are available here Now main entry - Once we get on to the steps we can hear pleasant water sounds and it's SURYA KHUND 🌞 Surya Khund - They have arranged a big pool type and water starts flowing from high (around 30 feet high) and the water is soooo soooo clean and pure Brass Siva linga is place in the middle of the pool here This Surya khund facility is for gents, once we dip in to this holy water our bodies feel energised The entry ticket for this is Rs.20 and there is dress code of wearing orange towel to dip in water. There are dress changing rooms near by too ✨Linga Bhairavi - When we keep on moving forward we get lotus pond and the place is so clean and silent and we can see people sitting on the steps and every where and meditating Get dharshan of Linga Bhairavi - harathi will be given once in the morning and night (7.40Pm) After having dharshan move forward and then we can see big place where the water sounds are coming and now we are at Chandra khund (Only for women) entry for men is strictly restricted 🌝 Chandra khund - Women who dip/ have bath in this holy water will feel relaxed, energetic and the whole body gets Liberalised Entry ticket of Rs.20 and dress changing rooms are there Then the Dhyana Lingam 🤩 💫At Dhyana Lingam - At the entry there are volunteers standing and guiding us. Pin drop silence to be maintained People carrying water bottles or ☔ umbrellas has to leave them outside and go inside This linga is placed in a dome form structure in order to absorb energy from universe After having dharshan of Dhyana Linga it is advised to sit there in meditative pose for atleast 15 mins to feel the change Such an amazing and beautiful place ..i couldn't take my eyes from dhyana Linga Then once we come out we can see Prasadam counters - Don't miss this we can buy Sesame seeds laddu for Rs.10 and Rs.20 The steps here are too high it's little difficult to get on them and get down for middle and old aged people.. so they can go straight to the corner and skip the steps There is shop inside also to purchase Isha products and adi yoga idols To cover all this have a time span of atleast 3 hours - we can visit this place slowly and peacefully Lots and lots of greenery and the architecture is on different level. Such an amazing place Yoga classes and meditation classes will be conducted here from 9.30 Am to 6.30 pm

The Isha Yoga Center is a spiritual and educational center located in the Vellingiri Mountains near Coimbatore, India. It was founded in 1983 by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, a yogi and mystic. The center offers a variety of yoga programs and courses, as well as other programs on personal development, spirituality, and social service. The center is also home to a number of temples and shrines, including the Dhyanalinga, a powerful meditation temple, and the Adiyogi statue, the world's largest bust sculpture. The Isha Yoga Center is a popular destination for people from all over the world who are seeking spiritual growth and inner transformation. The center offers a supportive and welcoming environment, and the programs and courses are designed to help people of all levels of experience. Beautiful and peaceful environment Wide variety of yoga programs and courses to choose from Experienced and knowledgeable teachers Supportive and welcoming community Affordable prices I highly recommend the Isha Yoga Center to anyone who is interested in learning more about yoga, meditation, and spirituality. The center offers a variety of programs and courses to choose from, so there is something for everyone. The teachers are experienced and knowledgeable, and the community is supportive and welcoming. Here are some additional tips for visiting the Isha Yoga Center: Book your accommodations in advance, especially if you are visiting during peak season. Bring comfortable clothing and shoes, as you will be doing a lot of walking. Be prepared to follow the center's dress code, which requires modest clothing. Be respectful of the silence in the meditation areas. If you are interested in taking a program or course, be sure to register in advance. There is no obligation to donate money or volunteer, but you are welcome to do so if you feel called to.

You can use transportation options like either local public bus 14d from covai Town bus stand or take taxi if you are travelling with family. Own a car ride to the centre.. Carpark available... AADIYOGI statue is outside of Isha Yoga centre. You will have to deposit all your belongings on electronic devices like cameras, phones and handbag/lady bags except for kids bags(biscuits or water). It's a very beautiful/peaceful place. You can participate in a free session of yoga inside the centre... maintain silence inside the centre or yoga room...we can use bull vehicle for old age or childrens..it's chargeable per person 10rs

Isha yoga centre situated around 30 km from coimbatore. You will take either bus from Town bus stand or taxi but if you are with family I am not suggesting bus because from Isha yoga centre you will face huge problems during taking seats on bus. AADIYOGI statue is outside of Isha Yoga centre. You will have to submit all your belongings like camera, phones and big purse except pocket purse. It's a very beautiful place. You will also attained free session of yoga inside the centre.

A vast area ! It gives you a different experience There's no entry ticket and can visit it to see ita different structure ! It really has naturalistic view with mountains surrounding...The meditation place was quite good Its more of a tourist spot to visit rather than a temple for a holistic purposes, according to me ! The phones are not allowed in inside premises after the adhishiva statue, so you couldn't see much pictures of them

Had visited this place for the very first time a few months ago, my first impression was, I felt divine, a true place for self-transformation, healing, meditation, with incredible consecrated spaces to benefit from. Everything was well organized, volunteers are super helpful, place is clean and tidy. Absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to go thru self-transformation and experience true divinity.

No doubt the place is well maintained and now being a tourist attraction for many. Many persons from India and other countries are coming for different courses by paying a hefty amount. The place has become very commercialized and there is nothing called free. Even for Prasad at temple, you have to pay and also for taking bath in the water kind! The food courts in the premises offers varieties of food but are heavily priced. For a commoner it would be very difficult to manage the cost.

Difference in taking room inside Isha vs outside: 1. Yummy food morning and night. 2. Access to multiple places inside Isha centres which are not allowed for outsiders. 3. Can take rest post food and enjoy the places relaxed. 4. Take part in early morning & late evening activities. 5. Great cottages with mountain view. 6. Wind and weather in the evening moves your heart. 7. Yes, there are some procedures to follow, will be difficult for first timers. People are very polite, you can get help from anyone around there.

Visited during 15-19 February 2024. Velliangiri Unnavagam, a restaurant within the Isha Yoga Centre compound. Close to the Surya Kund. The only good thing about the place is its location. The food joint is very poorly managed, very noisy, dirty and lacks food hygiene. The serving dishes are not cleaned well, not dried well. You are served food in wet dishes, with undrained water still in the dishes!! Same is with the spoons. The spoons are always seen at the service counter dumped in a steel bowl with no way for the water to drain. Dirty!!!! The spoons are also not cleaned and not wiped dry. The same with the steel tumbler glasses used for serving tea and coffee. These tumbler glasses are not cleaned well, not dried at all, they are dumped one over the other with dirty water still left in these tumbler glasses. You will be served your tea and coffee in these dirty tumbler glasses. Dirty!!! Dirty!!!! The tables were unclean. The staff who came to clean the eating table just used a more dirty piece of cloth, just spreading the dirt across the whole eating table. After visiting Valliangiri Unnavagam food joint in the campus, I wonder...does the Isha Yoga Foundation even train the food joint staff regarding basic cleanliness? Horribly dirty!! The visitors have no civic sense, the visitors throng at the self-service counter. They do not maintain any queue and surprisingly the management of the restaurant is not bothered. They do nothing to manage the crowd. The few decent Indians and all foreigner visitors were appalled by the dirtiness of this in campus food court. (1) The restaurant needs proper management with knowledge of food hygiene and cleanliness. (2) Proper civic sense in the visitors – mainly Indians – is needed. (3) The restaurant needs a competition. This will ensure quality and cleanliness.

We travelled to Isha Coimbatore to do Klesha Nashana Kriya for our 4 year old son who was diagnosed with ASD. People there wants the kids to be silent even if we explain about the condition of the kid. I haven’t seen a temple who sell Prasad right after darshan, they sell payasam for 20 rupees, I bought it and asked an extra cup to feed my child since it is piping hot, they seriously rejected and didn’t gave one. Even a local vendor on the streets will give one, terrible experience I had. They only give importance to foreigners. Specifically they don’t have any knowledge on ASD, none of them. They look weirdly if the kid shouts. I heard Sadhguru preaching a lot about ASD and ADHD but it is quite opposite over there. We went there with lot of hope and came out with lot of disappointment. I suggest parents who are having kids with special needs please don’t visit none of them will understand you and the kid. Additionally, every thing seems expensive I personally felt they are very commercial. The only good part is the cottages are maintained clean and tidy and the staff are friendly. Thanks, Indu

One of the best place to be at and have a break from a busy work life. You don't have to be a follower of anything to visit a spiritual place and feel good about ( dhyana lingam & Devi temple ) two things you can visit when visiting Adiyogi statue - Fridays are best by 11am you can be there and get out by 4pm short trip but worth a visit for all with family or alone. Feel good factor comes when you don't have to do too many things but give time for self. Visit and you can like and share your experiences.

I recently visited Isha Center in Coimbatore and I must say that my experience was truly amazing. The center is located amidst lush greenery and provides a serene and peaceful atmosphere that is perfect for anyone looking to relax and rejuvenate. The facilities at the center are top-notch, with clean and comfortable accommodation, delicious vegetarian food, and a wide range of activities and programs that cater to people of all ages and interests. Whether you're interested in yoga, meditation, or just want to learn more about spirituality, Isha Center has something for everyone. What I really appreciated about Isha Center was the sense of community and inclusivity that permeates throughout the center. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure that every guest feels comfortable and at home. During my stay, I had the opportunity to participate in a number of activities, including yoga and meditation classes, nature walks, and cultural programs. I also visited the Dhyanalinga temple, which was a truly awe-inspiring experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Isha Center Coimbatore to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The center offers a unique blend of spirituality, culture, and nature that is truly unparalleled, and I can't wait to visit again.
