One of the best centre for cancer treatment. Infrastructure resembles like its situated in some foreign countries. Very clean and healthy ambience. Reception staffs are very friendly, welcoming and helpful by heart. The best thing I noticed is the helpfulness of staffs, especially the securities and clinical staffs. Well maintained waiting lounge and canteen. They have good list of experienced doctors. And diagnostic services Cons: There is no communication between doctors of different departments (in my experience Oncology medicine & oncology surgery have no communication ) and the same leads to delay in treatment plan and doctors of different departments have different opinions. And later the patient will be confused about the next step

One of the best Cancer hospital in Malabar region. It's well maintained, equipped and good atmosphere hospital with really good doctors. It is important to mention the behavior of nursing and other staffs, they are really good and well behaved. One and only drawback of this entire setup is the canteen, bad food is an extra pain that one can give to someone who is already in pain. The hospital canteen and Cafe's provide really bad food and there are no other options as it is quite far from City and other food places. Good news is I heard that canteen management is changing soon so I hope the drawback will cured soon.

Very good treatment once the patient admitted to the hospital. From last 2 years i am coming here with father for post checkup. The OP department now a days getting worst and they are unable to manage patient on time.Only one day in a week Dr available for OP, during the same day he may leave to appear for surgery also. Please consider the post check up also important for a patient to connect with Dr for regular updates.Request to have proper planning for OP.

Booking and consultation are not transparent. Long waiting hours irrespective of patients condition. PR staff needs training to maintain eye contact than avoidance gazing. Too expensive. The worst is the insurance desk of the hospital.

I'm writing this with sincere conviction to make all of you aware what my family and I have been through. My father was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Brain tumour, so we trusted the consultation of Dr. Narayanan Kutty Warrier( MVR Cancer Centre) but that was biggest mistake we ever made. He never had the time to consult the patient and never cared to listen to worries of the bystanders had to convey. He never detailed or informed the status of my father and his treatment. Whenever we went for appointment he will just blatantly declare "all set for next chemotherapy". He never examined whether any progress is there after the chemo, instead he just schedule another one. He is the least empathetic and unprofessional towards his patient. He directed us to give an anti-depressant Mirtazap 7.5 mg to my father to get better and regain appetite. But after one dosage the worst took place and my father collapsed (due to giddiness and vomiting). He was then rushed to emergency care. Even in that state he was extremely rude to the family and bystanders for bringing my dad to hospital. He wanted us to go on with the course for one week. After that episode, when we went for another chemotherapy session, he again instructed us to deliver the same dosage. He wanted me to give my father for the next 10 days which I vehemently denied but eventually under his pressure I gave in. My father started declining after that medication. We are aware that my dad has only numbered days with us but these tablets aggravated the state and reduced my dad's life to just few days. With each tablet intake my dad's life was getting reduced to death bed. He never checked on the status of the patient. We are certain if we had not taken to him, my dad would have been with us for some more time.Mr.Narayanan Kutty Warrier is not empathetic enough to be called a Doctor; he is least bothered about the patients and the family’s concerns. I'm taking this step to inform all the clients and future patients THINK TWICE BEFORE CONSULTING HIM. He lacks empathy which is very much needed when caring for cancer patients and family,Looks like he is more concerned about the hospital administration part not the patient care.

This is one of the best oncology treatment and the atmosphere, environment is so good that it makes one feel comfortable and doesn't remind him of any hospital, it is has all facility for all types of cancer treatment and also has bank in the campus. Also there is palliative care treatment coming up. Thus the place is silent and a patient will have no disturbance.

Best hospital facility in the area for all kinds of cancer related treatments. Highly specialized and experienced doctors. Place is well kept. It has a unique architecture and a calming hospital atmosphere. Place is equipped with a cafe at its center and a canteen at the back. Doctors and staff are very friendly. Whoever manages this place knows their craft and deserves to be appreciated.

My experience with this hospital, where my father has been a patient since its inception, has taken a disappointing turn. Initially, the service was commendable, but lately, it has declined significantly. The staff at reception and the lab collections units are unhelpful, and the doctors seem careless, disregarding our time commitments. During a lab test, I mistakenly provided an old sheet, and the response was far from satisfactory. Instead of a simple cancellation and refund process, I was sent back and forth between the lab and reception, ultimately leading to frustration. Having visited various private hospitals in different places, I must emphasize that this hospital's standard has fallen below even that of government hospitals. For anyone dealing with cancer-related issues, I strongly recommend seeking care at a different reputable private hospital. This facility seems to adopt a regular government hospital model while charging luxury private hospital prices. Overall, it has been a deeply disappointing experience.

Treatment and infrastructures are good. But service like billing is poor, eventhough we are discharged in the morning 11 AM,we got the summary only by 5.00 PM evening.By that time and we missed all the train to Kasaragod. And we could travel only by bus with the patient.

I have experienced the worst. You won't get appointments especially to the main doctor Mr. Warrier. Once we joined there, one doctor demanded laparoscopy, but the other doctor said it is not possible. So we experienced lack of coordination from them. We decided not to throw our life to their hands for their gimmick. This is my experience. I don't know what others feel. Thank you..

Cancer is thought by the society to be a deadly disease, so did we believe . never knew it could be a second chance at life. Our father was having a lump in his leg and we went to more than 7 doctors who told us it’s just a lump of fat, other than a famous doctor in kannur . The moment he looked at the lump,he recognised something unusual. He asked us to choose the best hospital and our cousin chose MVR which everyone knows is the best and upcoming to top the best cancer centre in kerala as well as in india. The process and months we went through was dreadful , but everything was put to pace by the doctors and the ever best staffs and nurses at MVR. Radiations after radiations , chemotherapy after chemotherapy all made us believe our life has ended.. It brings tears to our eyes thinking of those cursed days. But yet, thanking everyday the doctors and every single person who helped make it quite better. Only a patient knows what he goes through; we can least measure the pain and mental agony. Had not the ambiance been this serene, green and calming well utmost peaceful we don’t think our father could’ve withstood this. Well the nicest people are always cursed by the god unknown for his unknown reasons ; we did say it then. But looking back 3 months after his bald head growing back lush hair,we think the only thing that makes cancer look a nightmare is the hair fall and being skinny all of a sudden, least do we think in hindsight things would fall back to pace . cancer is only physical if one don’t bring it mentally into us. Our father is safe and sound Thanking his doctors whom we pray for every single day Doctor Prashant paraneswaran Doctor Narayanankutty Warrier Doctor Dilip Damodar Doctor Sreedharan We must’ve done something really really really blessed in our life to get our family’s spine back to smiles after 8 months of cry. Wish god keep each of the doctors, staffs and every single being who helped us through; let me tell you we will forever keep you in our prayers. Thank you MVR for giving back our family the smile we lost almost a year ago, we’re ever grateful And also for putting lives and humanity in the forefront. MANAVA SEVA MADHAVA SEVA..

Very poor HR and Assistant. It has been almost 3 months since I changed my wife's pf account number. If we call there for that, they are badmouthing us. It will be without the name of that hospital. They behave so badly. Their management team should know this. We call for our purpose. I have been calling them for 3 months. This should be reported to the chairman and appropriate action should be taken.Otherwise it is a bad name for the hospital

Dear MVR Cancer Hospital, I am writing to request that an air conditioner be installed in the patient waiting area. The waiting area can be uncomfortable, particularly during hot weather, as there is currently no fan or other means of air circulation. As a solution, I would like to suggest that the air conditioner be powered by solar energy. Not only will this be environmentally friendly, but it will also reduce the hospital's electricity bills. I understand that there may be costs associated with installing the air conditioning unit, but I believe that the benefits to patients and their families will outweigh any costs incurred. Patients who are waiting for treatment or test results are often anxious, and being in a comfortable environment can help to alleviate some of their stress. Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to hearing back from you about the possibility of installing a solar-powered air conditioner in the patient waiting area. Sincerely, Abdul salam

Hospital infrastructure is very good, provides a clean environment and great ambience.. But patient management is very poor. Especially day care receptionist, not giving proper answer to our query,Need to wait for long hours to start the treatmnt, no coordination between staffs. Most of the staffs way of talking to patients is also not so good (even through phone), very pathetic management. Need to improve a lot more.

Can you please add reliance insurance too. Would really be helpful as my parent is going through treatment there at MVR. Unfortunately your insurance department does not have reliance in their list. Can you add it at the earliest. Would resolve a lot of our issues

If u genuinely looking for a good hospital where your family member can be treated ....don't opt this hospital I repeat don't. I had a very bad experience in the hospital..one of my parent was admitted here....i still regret of my decision of going to mvr hospital..the duty doctors are not experienced or learned...i would say very pathetic the way they treat amd aim to cure....consultant doctors have ego.Not worth experimenting with your loved ones...choose any hospital other like amrita kochi or any other...do a very good survey before hand. It matters a lot from whom and where you are getting treated.

Through a friend I happened to meet Dr. Dileep Damodaran, I have never seen such a doctor who takes care of a patient so well. The hospitality of the doctor and even the hospital staff is commendable. I had lost hope and after meeting him everything changed. A long journey and a hope where you can see lives changing and this was the best up to this date I met so many doctors none of them took care as he did. I am Sapna from Bangalore travelled to this place to meet him and started my journey to be disease-free.
