Large, but intimate. The slight grade to the standing room allows for visibility even in the back row. It allowed me to not feel so guilty as a guy who stands 2 meters tall. Drink selection is broad and modern. The acoustics are fantastic in the whole venue. The true standout aspect is the design. It feels like an interior designer's loft. I cannot recommend enough!

Went on a Saturday evening during February to a live dj set accompanied by a guitar player from the band Jamiroquai! Pros: 1. Music was great! 2. The venue itself isn't huge so it was a bit crowded (but in a good fun way) and overall we had a great time! 3. Sound system was also great 4. There are many fans around the dance floor which is great for cooling down a bit. Some cons (hence the 4 and not 5 stars): 1. The wardrobe cost money (3 Eur per item, they wouldn't allow us to join items which is a absurd). 2. There were people smoking inside close to one of the security people, who didn't do anything about it. Note that to get a drink you need to lay first at the cashier and then go to the bartenders... Overall: recommend!πŸ‘

One of my fav places in Rome for live music, not random, nice quality black music. So many new rnb artists performed there, even MASEGO! Drinks and food are litterally amazing!! When in caput mundi, do not miss it

Wow. What a pleasant surprise. This is by far the most unique space I've visited in Rome so far. If you don't know it's there you might walk right by it but you would be missing out on one of the most eclectic and engaging evenings you'll experience in Trastevere. The music is perfect to vibe to, the bar is great and the food looks tasty (haven't eaten here yet). Perfect for when you want to socialize in a cool but laid-back environment. Definitely visit!

Nice first impression but bad at the end. Really only deserves half a star. We arrived at the market just before the end and found great leather jackets. We bought cocktails there shortly before closing and were therefore only pushed back and forth because they close after the market to reopen. Very disorganized. Then for the opening of the live music show they started 3 hours to late no joke and we couldn't sit down while we waited because everything is reserved for special guests. Nowhere on the website was it shown that you can book standing room, seat or anything else. It's very boring during the whole waiting time. If you want to come then not on time or too early. We didn't get the money back and we left. No matter how great it would have been, no one was nice here.

Stopped by the market on a Saturday night. It was nice but much smaller than I expected. I’d say less than 10 vendors. The goods were all interesting and decent quality and for that reason relatively pricey. Not the kind of place you get lost in for hours and stumble upon a gem, more of a boutique vibe than a flea market. Cute and worth stopping by if you’re in the area, but know what to expect

Paid €5 each to watch bob marley tribute on the list. Event time was listed to start at 9.30pm and it didn't start until 11pm which was very disappointing because we was nearly 1 hour walk from alcazar so we had to leave not long after they started. It's was extremely over crowded and drinks were crazily over priced. We paid €10 for 2 cokes.

Great vibes, great DJ playing jazzy remixes of 80s classics. Went on a Friday night and it was great fun

Had a great night listening to a funk band. What an awesome venue! Five stars for atmosphere, minus a star for the gross toilets and annoying bar queue. All round it's one of the best nights out we've had in Rome. Highly recommend.

Went here for the pop-up store, and it was a great vibe, with great vendors and the staff was amazing too. The location is very cool and reminds me a little of the Berlin vibes

Cool, small venue which creates a good vibe in which the artists are able to interact with the crowd.

Cocktail prices are decidedly high, the place is small for such high acoustics. Parking impossible.

We went there last night on Saturday the 24th to watch a stand up comedy show, the place was full of folding chairs, it felt like being on a Ryanair flight, more people standing leaning against the walls, I doubt there were security numbers, among the other rude people, behind me there was a table on the mezzanine floor with people eating, I found my shoes on the back of the imbecile who stretched out his legs, I had to tell him twice, it would be more logical to avoid putting the .first row of chairs, or put a protection on the railing so that those above do not disturb those below, people sitting at the tables both on the upper floor and on the mezzanine floor, were talking loudly, laughing, so much so that two of the comedians asked more silence, but they continued as if nothing had happened, the fans were turned on before the show...which started 35 minutes later, and they turned off during, there was no air. I draw a veil over the artists...because it could be a subjective judgement, but I suggest that to make people laugh it isn't necessary to always talk about shit, pussy, cum and pedophiles...not even funny, maybe these artists have video marathons of real comedians, who perhaps learn something. For the owner who responded to my review, ..... learn to manage your own, it would be a lot.

Beautiful concert, not very comfortable to stand and the space was a bit narrow.

We saw, paying, a stand up comedy show but it was a terrible organization because these locals of the structure to maximize profits also do a restaurant in the same room and it makes the experience terrible and annoying for everyone. To be avoided

I'm terrified of this service, the queues are long, the atmosphere inside doesn't make up for it, it's not a place for young people, older people look down on them there. We stood outside for half an hour, waiting to collect our jackets, which took 10 seconds to hand over.

a tragedy, we stood outside the club for about 1.5 hours, the music inside was terrible, the atmosphere was very tense, overall 2/10 I do not recommend it. problems with the locker room, which is outside, so sweaty people have to freeze and wait another 40 minutes to get their stuff. XD the club gives the vibe of a place for 40-year-olds

Simply top-notch! Bouncers and staff were pleasant, professional and courteous. Bar prices were solid. The DJs absolutely killed it (one of them even had an electric guitar and played very well). The crowd was mostly local, but I had no problem interacting as an english-speaker. Everybody was cool and there to have a good time (rather than just get wasted). Moreover, it’s a fun place even if you’re not drinking/doing drugs (which I wasn’t). I happened upon Alcazar while I was walking the streets at about 10:45 PM on a Sunday in mid-October. What initially grabbed my attention was the vibe of people outside; it seemed like a really cool hang, and I didn’t see many tourists. I paid 15€ and got in without having to wait in line. Inside, the party was going, with the club at 60-70% capacity. By 11:15 PM, the place was full but not overly crowded (so maybe 80% full), and shortly thereafter the club was mostly full. The crowd started to diminish after 1AM, and then the party was over by 2AM. I had an amazing time; Alcazar is perhaps the best club to visit on a Sunday night in Rome (if not most places), and it deserves consideration as one of the best dance clubs in the entire city.

Great venue. We had dinner first and watched some of the show from the mezzanine level then made our way down to the open area for very good cocktails!

The best in blues, jazz, or house music depending on the night that you choose. Good ole fun listening.

If I could give this place a zero star, it would be ZERO. I reserved a table for 10pm here months prior to our visit to Rome. I had planned a beautiful Bachelorette for my best friend. There was 12-14 of us visiting from Canada, Alcazar confirmed my reservation the morning of - So I thought great, we are going to have such a great time here having cocktails, listening to music and enjoying what looked like a great atmosphere. Fast forward to the evening, during an incredible dinner at Hotel de la Ville ( amazing place - highly recommend ) I was trying to sort out some Ubers to Alcazar Live, but when I googled the directions, my google maps showed them to be closed... I thought that cannot be right, I got a confirmation from them THAT morning. I quickly went to the hotel concierge and asked them to call Alcazar to see if everything was fine. The gentleman at the desk was AMAZING, he called and spoke to someone from Alcazar and they informed him they were in fact closed. So here I am utterly screwed for the remaining plans for what was supposed to be a killer Bachelorette. They said, oh our online booking system needs to be updated...Heres a suggestion, if someone makes a reservation prior to visiting Rome and planning a once in a lifetime party for his best friend - fix the booking system and inform me that your place of business is in fact closed. Complete waste of time, and totally unprofessional. The kind gentleman at the concierge was completely shocked and made a few suggestions. He went out of his way and made a few calls on my behalf - got me and 12 other people a section at Bar Kong, which was so amazing. I suggest go there instead of this incompetent and rude establishment.

Interesting place, good atmosphere, nice live music. But cocktails! The cocktails are just awful! They are simply impossible to drink. its a poison for 12 euros. I don't even know how you can make them so horrible. And why?!

Great atmosphere and the vibes are amazing. The place is relatively small (can host 100 max) with very limited seating (20 seats). And the area in general is great for partygoers.

Disappointed! Heard so many good things about the area overall, but apparently choose the wrong place to go to. If you are a tourist and looking for a place to have a good drink and dance, do not recommend. We were super confused by "you can't come in as you are not on the list" , and when we asked how to get on the list were told to "check internet" . To the employee that was by the guest list check, sorry but you are not that "well trained" when everything that you say to the guests comes out very rude and impolite.

We had a stamp and never got in again. Didn’t get our coat back. Never go here. We were promised to enter within 10 minutes but never happened. Security is really stiff. The women with the glasses didn’t want to reason, had a great night but she ruined it.
