An absolutely amazing experience. I contacted the shop a month or so before my visit to check availability and talk designs and ideas. Once an appointment was set and reference materials provided, there wasn’t much left but to show up.. The day of the appointment I showed up as directed and found a beautiful, immaculately clean shop from front to back. I was greeted by staff and Alessandro. We quickly refined the design. I watched as Alessandro worked to created the stencil and within a short time I was in the chair ready to take some ink. Alessandro is a master artist, the detail amazes me every time I see my arm. He was quick but not rushed, he strives for perfection and will leave you with a one of a kind piece that will be enjoyed and discussed for decades. The detail will astound you. I would trust him again and again without question. He’ll provide aftercare instructions and follow up to make sure things are going smoothly. A true professional.

I just had the wonderful and rare opportunity to be tattooed by Alex in one of his trips to LA. Let me just say he is so friendly and very professional. I gave him a few ideas as to what I want the tattoo to mean and a few concepts that he can follow. He then created a tattoo idea that I completely loved and he was able to execute it perfectly. He took his time tattooing me and was very meticulous with his piece and that's exactly what you want from a tattoo artist of his caliber.I want to also add that he had a very light hand, and the tattoo located on my right arm wasn't painful at all. It was actually more of a relaxing experience. If given the opportunity, I would be tattooed by Alex again 100 percent.

This place was in my all time list because I follow the shop on Instagram. But for those who are looking for a walk in shop, this is it! All of the artists are insanely talented. My artist was Giorgia, and she was the best. That now I have a reason to come back to Rome! Sophia makes the ambience super professional and welcoming. The shop owner Alessandro is great! Alessandro and his staff are top notch! I scheduled a session with Alessandro far in advance of my planned trip to ensure a great experience and a one of a kind piece. Both were achieved. I was in the shop open to close and saw several walk-ins have a great experience and the staff did an amazing job managing the existing bookings around the walk-ins - all of the pieces I saw were top quality and the prices were reasonable. Alessandro delivered one of the most technical pieces I’ve ever seen with a 3D affect that was next level. The shop is also situated in a very cool & one of the oldest neighborhoods in Roma with great shops & eateries all around. June 8, 2023 was a very cool day and I have the piece to remember it forever. Thank you Alessandro and the rest of the Aureo team!!!

I had the best tattoo experience at Aureo that I have ever had. Alessandro is genuinely kind, humble, and beyond gifted. My piece was worth every penny, it’s exquisite. I walked away with a complex, meaningful art piece, not just a tattoo. Elizabeth was also lovely. It feels surreal to leave Italy with a work of art that reminds me of the passion and skill of artists like Michelangelo, Bernini, Raphael, etc. It’s incredible to see the same passion and skill in Italy today. I have had many tattoos around the world from the best tattoo artists. But I can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences and tattoos out of all of them! I truly love my tattoo and the experience I had with Alessandro and his Studio very much. Alessandro is not only a great and talented artist but also a quality person all round – and this is not always the case so Alessandro is a rare find! The customer service, quality of the tattoo and the entire experience is second to none. If you want a tattoo that is second to none, a high quality and memorable session and experience then this is definitely the place I would recommend!

Beautiful studio, welcoming reception, and skilled artist! This place was awesome for my very first tattoo. Giorgia knocked out the designs and made us feel very comfortable. My wife and I love out honeymoon tattoos! They do walk-ins but it is definitely best to get a reservation a month in advance. 10/10 would come back!

My husband and I were able to snag last minute sessions with David on our long layover in Rome - he is incredibly professional and you can tell he cares a great deal about his work. I finally got my first tattoo from the exceptionally blessed hands of Alessandro in October. This was a longstanding project I had in mind. I was looking for a talented fine line tattoo artist with a unique style and I was very much impressed by Alessandro and his team's work. Once I decided to get my tattoo in his studio in Rome, I also discovered that my boyfriend had gotten his first tattoo from Alessandro about 5 years ago! This was such a sweet coincidence. We travelled from Brussels to Rome together and made a little trip out it. I loved my experience in the studio and was received by a welcoming, friendly and professional team. Throughout the whole planning, Sofia perfectly communicated with me and answered to all the questions I had. When I met my Alessandro, we worked out the last details. Alessandro worked his magic and showed me the design he crafted for me - needless to say, I fell in love immediately. On a visit to Rome from Chicago I got a tattoo with Alex. I have many tattoos and his attention to detail and technique is unbelievable. His passion for tattooing and attention to the smallest details is what in my opinion makes him the best. I cannot wait to add another one to my collection one day! On a side note the space and his receptionist are so great as well :)

This was the most positive tattoo experience. A group of 6 of us just walked in and we’re able to get tattoos basically on the spot. The line work was incredibly done by Georgia. Everyone was so nice and easy to work with.

Giorgia was incredible - she was able to understand perfectly what I wanted for my design, despite coming in without an exact sketch. Everything was so comfortable and the service was so lovely. Overall a perfect tattoo experience and I am in love with my new piece!

Alessandro visited my city of Los Angeles for a few weeks and I was fortunate enough to have my tattoo design idea selected by him to work on with me. When we met up we went through the design process together, sharing both of our ideas on how to make the concept come to life. Alex was very helpful in offering his expertise and suggestions on how to make sure the piece was not too saturated with various elements and helped keep the design focused but with simplicity because he would later on add all the small micro-details in the tattooing process that really bring it to its fullest potential. I’m very grateful that he spent almost the entire day with me in this whole process, never feeling rushed and taking our time with the tattooing to ensure the best results possible.

Alessandro (Alex) was absolutely incredible as was his assistant. Very kind, fun, and professional. Alessandro is legitimate world class artist and creator. His tattooing skills cannot be beat. My boyfriend and I discovered Aureo tattoo gallery in 2021 and knew we HAD to get on Alex's schedule for our trip to Rome in '22! We were both so impressed with what we saw on IG, and being at the gallery and meeting Alex and his colleague brought it to the next level for our experience. They are professional and relaxed and we felt so welcomed and comfortable right away. While Alex already had the designs prior to our appointment, he spent time with us talking through various elements and lending his artistic and creative ideas. This review is hard to write as I cannot put into words how pleased I am with the tattoo I got by Alessandro. I had one idea in my head and he quickly took what I wanted and had the creative freedom to make it a million times better. This piece means a lot to me and the fact that he was able to integrate the flowers of Birth of Venus from the picture I took of the painting during my visit, just made this tattoo more meaningful. The tattoo itself is gorgeous. I have never seen anything like it. Very detailed and beyond what I had imaged. Alessandro was extremely nice and down to Earth. I had a pleasure getting his art on my body and learning more about him as a person and artist. His team is very nice and fun. I will be definitely be coming back for more!

Our experience was wonderful. The staff were attentive and kind, but most importantly our tattoos were beautiful. We had no appointment, and our walk-in was received warmly. Anna did both mine and my girlfriend’s tattoos and she was skilled and professional. This is a fabulous tattoo shop and I highly recommend to anyone in Rome.

I had an excellent experience at the Studio. I didn’t have time to schedule an appointment ahead of time, getting a tattoo is sometimes not a matter of planning ;) Fortunately Aureo accepts walk ins and fortunately they had time today. Julia makes you feel right at home when you enter. I had the privilege to be tattooed by Georgia (I hope that’s spelled correctly). She is an artist at heart and very fun to work with. The process was standard and familiar, the outcome was absolutely excellent. Her work is very fine yet elegant with a great attention to detail. I suggest you ask for her directly, because of the 30+ tattoos I’ve had, the appointment with her was my favorite. I believe it will not be long before she cannot accept walk ins anymore as her work stands for her creativity and the quality any studio could wish for. The price is not “cheap” as I heard others discuss while waiting. But whether this is your first or tenth tattoo. Never try to save on something that’s permanent. Go for the best option and save your regrets the rest of your life. Conclusion: 5-Star Tattoo Studio. 10-Stars for Georgia. When in Rome, take some of her art with you.

This was my first tattoo experience and I could not be happier. I’ve been searching for single needle for a few years and this was the perfect experience. They fit us in as a walk-in during our time in Rome and the entire staff was great. Couldn’t recommend Davide enough! I’d recommend stopping by on your first day in Rome and they’ll work to get you in at some point during your stay. Grazie!

I had the honor of getting a tattoo from Alessandro today and it was a wonderful experience! Starting with my initial email asking for a tattoo, him and his staff responded quickly and maintained constant communication until the appointment was fully booked. They addressed all of my concerns quickly and efficiently. I asked for a travel inspired tattoo and submitted a few photos for reference to what I’d like. Alessandro created a design more beautiful than anything I could have imagined!!! His attention to detail is insane and it is evident in all his pieces. He is incredibly skilled in his art, and an overall very nice guy! It was a wonderful experience!

Giorgia did an amazing job. I wanted to commemorate my trip to Rome with a tattoo of a Roman sundial and I am so happy with the result. I have other tattoos and Giorgia’s work is by far my favorite! She was very helpful, accommodating and made the idea come to life. As well as being very pleasant to talk to, she gave me some suggestions for local spots to visit while in town. I was so happy with the result that I wanted to get another before I traveled back home but that will have to wait for another time. The studio itself is very clean and comfortable. Everyone is very friendly and they were very transparent on what to expect, and gave an accurate estimate on the cost well prior to arrival.

Aureo was very accommodating to our schedule, fairly priced, and very kind to us. The tattoo turned out great. Clean environment, good music. Not only did I get an amazing piece of artwork but the people/atmosphere of the place was excellent. Very friendly and you can be yourself there. It started from the first time I emailed them to set up an appointment, to the politeness in person, to the accommodations, to the recommendations on food around the area. There’s NO denying the details, shading, and everything that goes into what Alessandro does and I would 100% do it again. Hopefully one day I can get another one from him.

Just got tattooed here by Giorgia. It was the most amazing tattoo experience I have had. She was very kind, working with me and adjusting the design as I wanted. She used a style of realism which I find is hard to replicate perfect, but she managed. I would definitely recommend this studio if you are looking to get tattooed in Rome.
