5/5 Chicken Choker C. 3 years ago on Google
I
was
staying
close
by
to
this
mall
and
hospital
when
my
grandson
was
born
in
Mexico
City
four
years
back
(He's
a
Mexi-Can-
Adian!).
I
took
my
granddaughter
to
the
mall
one
afternoon,
and
she
had
a
blast!
We
went
to
the
skating
rink
(which
is
very
unusual
in
a
mall-
EVEN
in
CANADA),
and
rented
some
skates.
My
granddaughter
who
is
9
and
growing
up
in
Mexico,
has
never
skated
before,
but
they
provided
rental
skates
to
us
(cheap
plastic
ones,
with
straps,
no
laces),
which
worked
well
enough.
We
took
a
few
laps
around
the
ice
and
had
a
blast
and
I
taught
her
the
fundamentals
of
skating,
that
every
dual
citizen
from
Canada
should
have!
Problem
was,
that
even
though
I
know
some
limited
Spanish,
there
was
very
little
if
any,
English
spoken
by
any
of
the
staff
at
the
rink,
(or
even
in
the
mall),
so
it
was
hard
to
tell
them
what
size
we
needed.
Eventually
all
was
sorted
out
and
we
got
the
right
size
skates.
The
skates
are
a
very
stiff
orange
plastic,
with
tightening
STRAPS
and
no
laces,
and
they
hurt
like
hell
after
wearing
them
for
a
few
minutes,
so
beware!
The
mall
is
absolutely
beautiful...
one
of
the
biggest
ones
I
have
seen
in
spite
of
seeing
and
being
in
very
big
malls
in
the
USA
and
Canada.
There
were
great
stores,
many
of
which
are
in
the
US
and
Canada,
lots
of
action,
numerous
great
restaurants,
huge
food
court,
with
many
people
shopping
and
looked
to
be
in
a
safe
end
of
town.
(still
not
sure,
the
area
was
upscale).
Great
afternoon,
we
stopped
at
PF
Chang's
for
lunch,
luckily
my
wife,
came
along
speaks
Spanish
and
we
ordered
a
great
meal
at
the
Santa
Fe
Shopping
mall
is
Mexico
City!
Highly
recommended
for
an
afternoon
of
fun!
