    Definitely a must see if you are in Gaborone. If you have a good guide there is so much history. Notice the similarity to the statues at the Mansudae Grand Monument. These are much easier to see in person.

    On the outskirts of the city centre. I did enjoy this place. At the time we went, the city was undergoing huge transformation; a lot of construction. I give it 3 to 5 years and this will be more marvelous and more of a bustling city.

    {"0":"Interesting space and troika of statues commemorating a foundational moment in Botswana's history. The guide at the site is enthusiastic and energetic, and definitely a reason why this was one of the highlights of our weekend in Gaborone. The park is situated in the city's modern business centre, next to some spectacular highrise buildings. Entry was free (for us). The parking was not clear, so we parked at a shopping centre across the street. Google said that the site was 'closed' (on a Saturday) but it was not.","2":["0","238"]}

    I loved the experience, it’s free and good place to learn about Botswana’s founding fathers

    {"0":"These are the finest three Dikgosi's that I've ever seen... Note that the entrance is on the North side of the square and the guard will ask you if you need information upon entering. You can tell him you do not because there is sufficient information online. There are 6 other statues that describe Botswana's development over the past 200 years. It's a nicely maintained area beside the supreme court complex.","2":["0","239"]}

    Lost count of how many times I've been to this monument, it is quite impressive in person. If you ever visit Botswana, you totally have to go and see this monument, you will not be disappointed. Make sure you take a camera too so you can take a few pictures while there as well. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures coz when you've been to a place as many times as I went to this monument you kind of start taking it for granted, but I mean it's been a while now and I would certainly not mind visiting again.

    {"0":"Interesting and significant spot. The statues are very impressive and the history covered is wide. We never used a guide, but apparently the on-site guide is excellent. Good free parking and free entrance - recommend this when in Gaborone. Bonus views of the high court behind which is interesting as well.","2":["0","306"]}

    It's a nice place to visit, you get a nice view of the new CBD from the Monument, and the statues of the Three Dikgosi are huge.

    The first time I went there was of no significance, lol. We just took pictures and left. The second time I went there with a friend who was visiting , we happily stumbled on a group of tourists with a guide who happily humoured us. Was I not blown away by the history. Kudos to the guide, he was amazing, funny and knew his stuff. Moral of the lesson- get a guide for this activity or else it just won't make sense, especially if you are a foreigner. A knowledgeable guide too 😆

    If you're a lover of culture, history and heritage folklore then you'll need a picture by this monument. More especially that this site is very secure and highly accessible in the heart of Gaborone CBD... (rumours are this monument may be relocated to atop a certain hill)

    A beautiful statue showcasing a great and important piece of history for the country. Would recommend all visitors to Gaborone check it out to learn about who stopped Botswana from becoming a part of South Africa.

    The place is a great center of knowledge not only for Botswana but for Southern Africa's history. The guide was fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend going to learn a bit more about the greatness of the Batswana people and the Southern African people as well.

    Great historical place in the center of the upcoming Botswana Central Business District. There are other monuments at this landmark of great value to Botswana. These statutes are of the 3 chiefs that went to the United Kingdom to ask The queen to offer Botswana protection from invasion from the Boers whom where attacking from the south

    Exceptional👌🏽 Clean, employees know how to do their job especially giving historical events of Botswana and countries it has significantly rubbed shoulders with. There's a guys named🤔... he's really good at his job, my husband and I really enjoyed being attended to by him, good job man and keep going strong, mega love🫶🏾 There's no entrance fee. Public transport is well available. Traffic was relatively low, I think it was due to the fact that it was a holiday. Network coverage is quite good. The area is really clean and well looked after. Crime rate I can confidently say it's really low at this area. Wheelchairs ramp✔️ Restrooms ⚠️ I am not sure.

    The Three Dikgosi Monument is an 18-feet tall bronze statue honouring the three dikgosi (chiefs): Khama III, Sebele I, and Bathoen I, who led Botswana to its boipuso (independence). Only in 1966, what was previously known as Bechuanaland became the Republic Of Botswana after eight decades as a British protectorate. The monument is the most visited attraction in the CentralBusinessDistrict (CBD) of Gaborone. Bonus --- a free attraction!
