No porter to help take heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs Very loud music from bar area outside , could not rest in hotel room in afternoon and evening. Otherwise staff was friendly especially lady at Forex exchange

The place is nice. The surroundings are clean and they have some boutiques within the hotel, which enables you buy some stuff you might need. The staff is friendly too. However, its location is both a good thing, and a bad thing. Good: its right by the bus station and can easily be located. Bad: its by the bus station, hence accessing it is a challenge, as the road to access it, is a one-way road, and frequently grts congested due to the taxis and buses rushing to exit the station. Overall, it's a great place to stay.

Gaborone Hotel is situated right next to Gaborone's Central Bus Rank which makes it a very convenient place if your mode of transport into the city is a bus, especially when arriving late at night. From there you can easily access private or khombi taxis. It also benefits from having several shopping malls nearby that all have supermarkets and restaurants in them. Gaborone Hotel is also ideally located close to a number of foreign embassies and Botswana's government ministries. There is also a police station nearby and the location also benefits from a heavy private security presence. Gaborone Hotel itself is satisfactory maintained and will meet all your basic needs and expectations. The rooms are clean and toilets are clean, the hotel provided clean and hot water during my stay. However, I personally found their bedding to be worn out and somewhat unhygienic. All the staff at the hotel were polite, helpful and professional. I would personally stay here, whenever I visit Gaborone.

Stayed here only once, with my then girl friend many many years ago. And after that, I was like, never again. It is clean, but the location (being located right where the noisy station is in Gaborone) and the fact that it is more like a motel than a hotel really disappointed me. I don't like giving bad reviews, but I also have to be honest. The only thing this place really has going for it is that it is cheap.

The location is very terrible, Bo proper signs , as there is a bus terminus nearby . Very overpopulated area, making it hard to get parking or even to reach the place. Their staff is very good though!
